Good computer management tool
What do you like best about the product?
We used it to patch all our computers with Microsoft and 3rd party updates. Easy to setup infrastructure with a secure middle server in the DMZ reachable by computers outside of the network. Remote access to assist users is quite good. Automation of pathing works well for the most part. Inventory of systems and software.
What do you dislike about the product?
Computers that missed the assigned patch day will not patch unless they check-in on the assigned day. Difficulties in deploying Java updates as majority fails. Technical support ended telling us to work with Java support instead. No granularality in notification for computers deleted or has not checked in for a period. One email setting for all. Multiple versions of software reported on a single computer causes confusion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Software inventory and control, allowing us to prohibit installation of certain applications. Remote access/control for support works well which allows us to assist users anywhere and from anywhere. GUI interface is easy to navigate which makes management and use of the tool a liking.

Good Program
What do you like best about the product?
The functionalities of the tool, the control of the equipment in my corporation, is a simple program to use. I am still familiarizing myself with the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment, the only drawback I have found is that to load the patches, the equipment in my organization must be connected to the company's network; they do not update from outside.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Analysis and repair of software vulnerabilities in my organization's equipment, and the ease with which reports can be prepared with all kinds of information.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
managing of devices in one place
One of the most robust endpoint management systems I've ever seen.
What do you like best about the product?
I'm able to manage all of our endpoints from one location. Visibility into the health status of our servers and especially remote laptops is extremely important.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the most annoying things about the local MDM for laptops is how often it will simply stop communicating with the central server and we'll end up having to have our employees bring it in so we can reinstall the MDM all over again. Until they bring their machine in, we can't perform updates or anything of that nature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visibility into the health of machines that we had to give out to remote workers was a challenge. Initially, we used Chromebooks for remote workers, which came with Google Enterprise for centralized management, but these proved to be less robust than we would have liked, so we had to move to Windows laptops. Afer moving, Desktop Central not only solved the MDM issue, it also gave us a way to keep track of patches and updates, and even a centralized place from which to image new laptops, which continues to save us a lot of time.
Best MDM available
