Exponea is a great analytical and marketing tool!

What do you like best about the product?
There are two things we like about Exponea the most. Firstly, it offers both analytics and marketing automation functions so we do not need to use any different tools for individual tasks. Moreover, its features cover not just basic functionalities, such as marketing attribution or simple newsletter campaigns. With Exponea we can easily design and execute also complex personalized scenarios for long-term user lifecycle management, and the like.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe the price :) But it depends on point of view
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Well, better analytics than with Google Analytics and marketing automation is very user friendly

What do you like best about the product?
Lot of ways to create added value that improve the customer experience. With the built-in AB testing we always know what our customers prefer.
What do you dislike about the product?
No complains at all. It's full time job to take care of Exponea. Contains so many features and options of use that we have had to hire new team member to make sure we use in on 100%. I think we still have the backlog ...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
From my side of view it helped us to increase the sales and improve the conversion rate. Exponea played very important role in our last year's Black Friday campaign.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a great tool for multi-platform communication including my favourite email delivering oversight features. I love how easy it is to plan email campaigns for specific customer segments and situations. I use scenarios a lot. Its is also very helpful to see how many customers really open emails and how many of them click on links in the email. It gives me a great feedback and helps me to understand how to attract them and what is their motivation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I miss calendar planning. It would be much easier to plan email campaigns through calendar and visually see when our customers will receive emails from me or my colleagues. It would be great especially for teams where more people are using Exponea.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Exponea is a game changer for us while promoting events and communicating with customers. We are organizing several conferences a year and Exponea is a perfect tool how to promote these events and communicate with customers during marketing campaigns. Thanks to scenarios we can easily choose to whom we want to send a specific email which reflects their situation. Exponea makes marketing much easier and much more effective thanks to metrics which we can analyze, compare and choose from. On the other hand, it also provides quick way how to A-B test different scenarios and apply changes and new hypothesis very easily.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You should definitely try it. I am almost sure that it will make your work much more effective, your hypothesis more clear thanks to several analysis and data and it saves you lots of time and solves lots of difficulties while communicating with customers.

What do you like best about the product?
It's an easy way to work with our customer base - segment, analyse and then take action. We use it daily to send our newsletter, to improve personalisation based on what customers buy/see, and scenarios based on actions our customers take on e-shop.

They are still working on building the product, so we see new features and improvements first-hand.
What do you dislike about the product?
For advanced solutions and analysis we need the help from Exponea support team. But they respond very quickly and we always find solutions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- to analyse behaviour and segment our customers for more relevant communication
- bring relevant content in our emailing to different customer groups
- to deliver the emailing at the time our customers are use to open it
- to automate and personalise:
-- abandoned cart - if our customers forget something in cart
-- last seen products - if customer is browsing products, but not adding them to cart
-- re/activation campaigns
-- ...and more cases to improve the Conversion Rate

This is useful tool, if you need to work with your customer base. They have very supportive team.

The BEST marketing and analytics tool out there!

What do you like best about the product?
There are 3 key feats I really like about Exponea the most: realtime data, usability and support.
The data that we work with are not sampled or delayed by days, it is realtime. If you need a different point of view on your data, you simply do it by yourself and see it the next moment. When you start a new campaign, you keep on refreshing the dashboards to see how it goes - better than watching NHL live!
That connects to usability: we use the data directly for action in the scenarios to eg create offers for specific segments of users or purely based on their behavior in our app - in a very user friendly interface. Also learning how to use Exponea is super fast - a quick onboarding and you're ready to go. Need an AB test? No prob.
Third, if we get stuck or have questions, the support guys help us in a matter of a few business hours. Also we get their suggestions and help on how to improve our analytics and campaigns. They are helping us to improve the way we work with data and grow our business. Very useful, as we are not really data scientists.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is hard to find flaws or specifically stuff I don't like about Exponea - for our use case it's the best out of the tools we tried. However, as Exponea is realtime, it has a hard time with complex queries of type n-squared. Part of that problem is the usage of averages, but not having a median directly. We don't need these on a daily basis and for weekly or monthly BI reports and aggregated data we use Excell (then you don't need to handle 100M's of events in data).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a mobile free-to-play game dev company, so data and user behavior is the core of our business.
First of all, with Exponea, we managed to grow as a company and fully implement a data driven approach to our company - thinking in KPIs, experiments and proof not in feelings but in numbers, on a daily basis. We base our decisions on data, because it is so easy to get data and work with data.
Second, a lot of direct improvements were achieved, eg, we improved the performance of onboarding funnel by 350% and the offers monetization more than 250% and still see (thanks to data) plenty of space for improvement. Also, we have been able to identify flaws and weak points in the UX of our game and fix them - game economy, balancing of levels, fail rates, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a marketing and analytics tool which 1. is realtime, 2. easy to use, 3. has a great support, then you found it. The implementation from zero is quite straight forward, too.

Multi-Channel Automation with Exponea

What do you like best about the product?
We started with Exponea 3 years ago and have been using them ever since. I worked with so many different tools before that, but Exponea is the most complex because it's capable of integrating analysis, emailing, SMS and Facebook messages. This makes it so much more easy to design multi-channel campaigns, automate, test and evaluate the results, all in one place. To me, this is a huge benefit. Keep in mind that the platform, for the most part, is user-friendly as well.

Also, with Exponea we are now able to answer more complex questions, since we have all our data in just one tool.

Additionally, Exponea has very good Customer Support. They have a chat integrated right into Exponea, so you can always bounce your ideas off the help desk, and they are super responsive
What do you dislike about the product?
Exponea is easy, it’s a robust tool, but some UX aspects need to be strengthened. If you’re doing basic functions, it’s ok, but if you’re working on a more complex task, it’s not always easy to complete it. At this point you have to talk to Support. Certain activities require experience of working with the platform. E

Exponea does, however, have some great knowledge-base articles, but sometimes you may need some extra help from their team. In short, the learning curve can be a bit steep but it's worth it in the end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We mainly work with A/B testing in emails and marketing automation. In the past, we used MailChimp, and it was really hard to run campaigns every day or on a weekly basis. With Exponea we are easily able to automate and now we can plan campaigns for a whole month, or so, without hesitation.

Additionally, we also work with cart abandonment emails, and before Exponea we were simply lacking this data. Now we are able to trigger the cart abandonment messaging for those who have left the cart and this is a great way to get those conversions. It's helped us quite a bit.

We use weblayers/banners, which help us track customer actions on the website, in real time, and we are able to show personalized weblayers to our customers on our webpage, which resulted in a sales increase. Because of this we started to focus a bit more on this aspect of the Exponea tool. Yeah, the weblayers are great. We also started testing the "experiments“ module to update some pages on our website and A/B test these updates.

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy the wide range of possibilities that Exponea offers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular. The only thing we dislike is that we are unable to fully use all the features due to connectivity issues with our own CRM.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Exponea primarily for upsale of our news subscription, special time limited offers etc. We also look at their analytic data in order to evaluate the campaigns.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are not sure whether to try Exponea, I can tell you the trial is definitely worth your time. The Exponea team will show you their product in different angles, will explain to you what are the features you could use the best and will teach you anything you would need in order to use the software. They will give you support both face-to-face, on-line, over the phone, on Slack etc.

Moreover, there are so many things you can do with their software - you just have to explain which issue you want to sort out and they will create a tailor-made plan for you.

What do you like best about the product?
My team is able to provide real time answers to almost all business analytics requests on demand...and the dashboard capabilities are quite nice. Analyzing user conversions thru the entire funnel is very valuable and the ability to do this analysis for various user cohorts and traffic sources is all possible. Exponea provides great value

I have no complaints from my level of interaction with the product

Big step for building relationship with customers

What do you like best about the product?
For building relationship with customers it is important to know what customers do related to your business and respond to it appropriately. Thanks to Exponea we are able to create and change easily the series of campaigns that respond to customer behavior. We use smart recommendations, triggers and we are able to evaluate every step of our client lifecycle management and quickly decide what to change. It is easy to work with Exponea tool, employees without "technical skills" easily manage it. Exponea support is really amazing. They react during minutes not hours.
What do you dislike about the product?
User interface is not so good as robust tools offer. But it is ok, Exponea is still working on it and now it is really better than in past.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to build and share Dashboards for external partners and quick prototyping of reporting views.
Easiness of use even for data and analysis newbies.
Level of customer support.

Real-time big data management is well done.
There has been little to none down-time so far.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the rate of innovations in the product is too quick to catch up with. Also the documentation catches up vagrantly.
Data imports are rudimentary at current level but word is campaign management is going to improve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using the reporting features as single source of truth within the company. Dashboards in use show the state of the company from various points of view on monthly or weekly basis, or even allow an operational view drilling down to hours and minutes, particularly useful when analysing new distributions.

Reports allow slicing and dicing of event based data. Analysts have a variety of tools including a Flow chart effectively allowing to cross-check with other data sources within the company such as Google Analytics.

Campaigns allow rapid marketing e-mail or weblayer campaigns design, testing and evaluation. This is particularly useful for e-commerce.

We have also repurposed the push features to allow secure, trackable and targeted in-app communication with end-users of our product, a browser-extension best-in-breed password manager.
