Effortlessly Transformed Content, With Minor Hiccups
What do you like best about the product?
I created a 20-minute video for higher education with my AI Avatar, and in very little time, Synthesia took my Google Slides and turned them into magic. It solved the problem of providing professional quality video content that I could share easily and also helped with my nervous public speaking issues. I learned how to use the platform quickly, in just 2 days, with assistance from the Synthesia team. I like the ease of use, the tech support was GREAT, and the ability to download an existing boring PowerPoint into the system and make it into something truly impressive. The initial setup was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were some issues at the start, where I wasted tokens because I didn't know that hitting generate would eat away at my account balance. That was really frustrating. Also, my Avatar's arms were strange and transparent on several screens. Lastly, the pronunciation of words was off quite a bit, and I had to spend a ton of time writing out what to say in a phonetically correct way. But the biggest issue is that our nation has low quality broadband. So even after I did all this work, I could not get the video to play in a suitable way via Zoom or even through the link on YouTube. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to play the video at all. Now I'm trying to upload it on LinkedIn and the file is too big to post. I don't blame Synthesia for this, but would have liked to know this stuff before we nearly went live with 1200 participants. I suspect most people have no clue that playing a high quality video is going to be so difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia transforms my Google Slides into professional video content, solving my public speaking issues and is easy to learn with excellent tech support.
Intuitive and Natural, Yet Room for More Models
What do you like best about the product?
I used Synthesia for creating training videos for B2B purposes. It allows me to create professional training videos with visual content and clear, localized narrations in different languages. I like the function that lets users amend the speed and breaks between lines, making the video more natural and increasing readability. Synthesia is easy to use and doesn't require much setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hope there are more Asian AI models for users to choose from

What do you like best about the product?
What I find most helpful about Synthesia is how easy it makes creating professional and visually engaging videos without needing advanced editing skills or expensive equipment. The platform saves a lot of time and allows me to quickly turn ideas and training content into polished presentations.
I also appreciate the user-friendly interface, multilingual voice options, and the ability to update videos quickly without having to rerecord everything.

What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I think is not the best is that some AI avatars and voice tones can still feel slightly less natural than real human presenters. However, overall, the platform is very efficient and easy to use.

As an HR Director in a nonprofit organization, Synthesia helps solve the challenge of creating consistent, professional training materials quickly and cost-effectively.
Dynamic Training with Engaging Support
What do you like best about the product?
I love the customer interaction with the staff at Synthesia. They support content creation and enhance the knowledge base on how to use the platform. They are incredibly engaging and accessible, making the 'feature Friday' and tips sessions incredibly powerful. Also, the initial setup of Synthesia was extremely easy. The platform is user-friendly, especially if you're familiar with creating PowerPoints or similar tools. I think Synthesia has done a great job of integrating obvious features onto their platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love the ability for our learners to be able to save their progress as they continue on their learning. Some videos, we cannot make two minute videos, unfortunately, right now. Some of the training sometimes freezes as it's dependent on their Wi-Fi and bandwidth. A lot of our officers are accessing training on their phone and could be in between different buildings, so that's where saving progress would be a great addition. Sometimes the images or videos I need are not specific enough in Synthesia, so I have to go outside the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia creates dynamic training, allowing visual examples and situations to enhance on-the-job training for our security personnel.
Very Easy to Use, with Slide Decks That Stay Intact
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use. The slide decks remain intact, which allows us to segment and modify the content wherever we see fit. The non-enterprise edition is quite sufficient for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s a hard-set token limit, so you can’t go over your allowance. The next tier up is Enterprise with unlimited tokens, but depending on the organisation, the cost of moving to Enterprise can be a real deal-breaker for many SMEs that want to use Synthesia. Ideally, we should be able to top up tokens as needed without having to switch to the Enterprise plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps with creating training content that’s far more interactive and engaging, instead of doing manual, boring PPT recordings and going through expensive post-editing exercises.
Easy Content Editing, Engaging Avatars but Slow AI
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to edit content with Synthesia. The personal avatars are engaging and a very close likeness of the host. There is a lot to learn but the staff was supportive, and there is lots of content to support learning Synthesia.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI features are slow. It would also be nice to have more control of the avatar pacing.

I need to create professional course videos in a timely manner.
A Better Interface Than Other AI Video Generation Sites

It’s interface is really better than the other AI generation video websites

Revolutionized Our Training with Easy Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I love AI and I like automation, especially using anything that will streamline things and eliminate duplicative steps. That's one thing I absolutely love about Synthesia. Although learning the tool was a bit challenging, I'm still learning, but the output is great once you figure it out. It helps convey the message with the correct tone and inflection in the avatar's voice. The tool does bring things alive and keeps the team updated and connected. I like the fact that we can easily access the tool and I like the features within it, including the transitions which keep the videos fresh and improve the learning experience. The initial setup was super easy; we got in, set it up, and started using it the first day.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say the extreme expression that it uses when you use an exclamation mark is really high. And, that's not always what you're looking for just because there's an exclamation mark. If there was some type of grid that explained how punctuation impacts the tone and pitch in the avatar's voice, that would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Synthesia to convert SOPs and trainings into AI videos, speeding up learning. It saves leaders' time by eliminating repeated trainings, enabling on-demand access for skill enhancement.
Easy to Use with a great interface
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use with a nice interface, and the solution keeps improving over time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it takes a long time to render. It also doesn’t feel as advanced as Adobe’s video tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AI content creation in bulk, even when you don’t have existing images, and it simplifies the translation process for content as well as approvals across different teams. It’s also nice that you can update videos without changing the published link.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can create simple, easy product demos for my sales team.

There’s really nothing to dislike. I just hope to see a more modern UI soon.
