Limited number of minutes is provided in the starter plan. Minutes should be increased.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Great tool! Very intuitive and customisable
What do you like best about the product?
I love the level of customisation it offers while also providing a great AI support for parts that I am not fully comfortable with. I am not a very creative person so I need some extra help with creating training content and Synthesia is the perfect match for my gaps. The access to a wide range of stock content is also super great, allowing me to search across various media types that suit my needs. It's intuitive and the avatars and the voice overs are super realistic.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far. It took me a few hours to get fully comfortable with it while also trying out other similar tools but decided to stick with Synthesia due to the ease of use and the functionalities it offers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating training materials for my clients without having to spend hours in old-school video editing tools. It's AI functionalities are also great at recommending ideas for scripts saving me lots of time from having to write all of that myself.
Synthesia - Vdieo Generation made easy
What do you like best about the product?
If you have ever used PowerPoint then Synthesia is even easier. It is supplied with loads of ready to use templates which you can simply edit and then turn into a video really quickly. There are also a lot of Avatar that you can also customize and even add one of yourself.
What do you dislike about the product?
You are unable to import a PowerPoint that can be edited, it is a screen grab of the PowerPoint Slide that is inserted as a picture.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a Business Development Manager I find myself presenting the same content to mulitple global teams. With Synthesia, I can put together a presentation in multiple languages that the teams can watch when it suits them. We can also launch Tik-Tok length videos as Marketing collateral to our Partners and use as training videos both internally and externally.
Quick and easy onboarding and great service
What do you like best about the product?
Synthesia is very easy to use and there are a lot of helpful videos, calls and meetings and online support in case you do get stuck. The voices are very natural and the avatars are relatively lifelike. There are new features being introduced regularly with live calls to introduce them and answer questions. Anyone can join the community and participate in Beta testing therefore moulding the way the tool works in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The translations are still a little inaccurate. Emotion both in the voices and avatars needs to be improved upon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quick and easy creation of conversation videos where previously actors would have been used. Creating videos via Synthesia is quick and easy without the necessity of employing outside agencies. The videos can be embedded via scorm directly into our LMS or into our course creation software. Now we can extend our learning offering to our sales teams by showing them what a good sales pitch in front of a customer looks like, instead of just telling them!

It's incredibly intuitive and easy-to-use - you can get effective videos made in a matter of minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Avatar removals mean we have to go back and change some of our content when we're trying to standardise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us create learning content for users very quickly and in a visual/audio format, without the need for expensive equipment or time-consuming recording/editing.

What do you like best about the product?
Synthesia is incredible easy to use. The user interface is clena, intuitive, and makes the video creation process simple even for beginners. It doesn't take long to get the hang of things, and overall workflow feels smooth and efficient. Perfect for quickly creating professional-looking videos without any technical hassle
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the AI avatars could use improvement when it comes to facial expressions. A few of them can appear a bit flat or even unintentionally sad, which sometimes affects the tone of the video — especially for upbeat or high-energy content. More expressive and emotionally aligned avatars would make a big difference

Synthesia solves the problem of time-consuming and expensive video production. Instead of hiring actors, setting up cameras, or dealing with post-production, we can create professional videos in minutes using AI avatars. A huge benefit for producing internal training materials, explainer videos, or quick updates - all without needing any video editing skills or production team. Efficient, scalable and keeps our content looking polished.
Easy to use experience, with great translation tool
What do you like best about the product?
The user experience is super simple and it's easy to learn quickly. Especially the translation possibility is great! Good change to just regular icy human spoken videos.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the video view is too small when working with just a laptop. It takes quite a while to re-generate the videos even if just one word has been edited. It's hard to put multiple pictures in the same scene since they overlap while editing if they are coming into the scene at different times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving the issue of people having to read long texts (that they don't end up reading). Now they can watch a fun video in their own language as well. We hope our videos will guide the user and they find helpful information from them. Also solving an issue of in-person trainings. We have created AI Avatar trainings and hope they will keep the audience engaged without the hassle of moving physically to a new place.

The AI Avatar was great to resolve the filming process and retakes. The templates were useful but the audio flexibility could be better.
