What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the intuitive nature of Synthesia and how it is very user-friendly, making the process of creating realistic videos remarkably straightforward. The ease with which I can create informational videos is a significant advantage, as these videos are easy to follow and understand. Additionally, I am impressed by how quickly I can develop these videos, almost in a matter of moments, which is incredibly efficient for my work needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the avatar, voice, and lip movements could be improved on a little bit. It seems to be a little not realistic sometimes with the avatar. Additionally, I noticed there are limitations with custom avatars unless you're using your own avatar. The custom avatars provided by Synthesia are limited to the content due to the nature of the work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Synthesia simplifies creating informational videos, making the process intuitive and quick, and helps in producing realistic content efficiently.

What do you like best about the product?
This is truly a mind-blowing marketing tool. It enables companies to expand their video capabilities, generating scripts and integrating them seamlessly with avatars.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it quite frustrating that in order to brand videos, you have to purchase the entire Morose package, which costs 12k per year. It seems reasonable to expect a company’s colors and logo to be automatically included in every video.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool is making it easier for me to scale video production at a low cost.

I love using Synthesia for creating microlearning videos because the lip-synch feature is incredibly powerful, which adds a layer of realism and engagement to the content. Additionally, I find Synthesia very easy to use, which streamlines the video creation process and allows me to focus more on content rather than technology.

The voice tones are limited. There isn't any playful or whimsical tone; it's all instructional or informational.

I find Synthesia solves voice-over challenges, efficiently syncing voice to avatars. It creates high-quality videos for microlearning effortlessly.

The platform offers strong multilingual support and delivers high-quality translations. I find it easy to use, and its speed and scalability are impressive. The inclusion of AI Presenters is also a notable feature.

There are problems with the dubbing process, particularly with the time it takes and issues that arise when dubbing videos.

I really enjoy how easy Synthesia is to use, as the cut-and-paste functionality with text, transitions, and rendering makes the video creation process straightforward and efficient. I find the realistic avatars to be a key feature, offering high-quality results without the need to hire a professional, as they provide excellent speech, movement, and backgrounds. The templates available are also highly effective for creating videos quickly, which is ideal for my needs. Additionally, the realistic voices and movements of the avatars are impressive, and the cost-effectiveness of Synthesia compared to other tools such as Hae Jin makes it an excellent choice for our organization. I also appreciate how immediate and uncomplicated the initial setup was, allowing me to select an avatar and start video creation for onboarding within minutes. I have already recommended Synthesia to several colleagues due to its overall efficiency and quality.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's a bit challenging to get the text or other objects to slide in or move in on time. I've had to go back and redo that a few times. Additionally, it seems to take a lot of time for the video to go into preview mode.

The platform's features and operations feel well-thought-out, demonstrating a clear reasoning behind its functionalities. I sense a strong organization underpinning Synthesia, which adds to my confidence in the product. Furthermore, having real people behind the process makes the experience more engaging and trustworthy. An added benefit is the recently introduced ability to work with timelines; this feature aligns well with my familiarity with timelines from other video software, simplifying the integration into my workflow. Overall, Synthesia makes it easier to invest my time and energy, knowing there is substantial human support and thoughtful development involved.

I find it challenging to afford the enterprise level of Synthesia, which restricts my access to some valuable features that are currently out of my reach. Additionally, the lip-syncing feature seems somewhat unnatural or 'plastic,' which affects the realism of the videos. Also, while Synthesia's timeline feature is helpful, I don't feel I have the same level of control as I do in other video editing software, so I often need to use additional programs to fine-tune projects.

I find that a bit more clarity around the credits and how they work would be useful.

Sometimes the voice does not sound natural or is too fast or too slow. The AI generation of the video parts aren't always the best, so I have to take quite a bit of time to revise it.

It’s an excellent, cost-effective option that has helped us maintain strong communication despite budget limitations.

The initial setup of Synthesia was straightforward, and although there's a slight learning curve, the abundant resources available guide me through and assure me of continuous improvement in mastering the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it frustrating that while using AI assist within Synthesia's user interface, I can't scroll up and down effectively. This results in me unable to see content at the bottom of the page, regardless of adjusting the screen size. Additionally, the toggle bar meant for scrolling sometimes doesn't appear, or when it does, it's too small to interact with. These user access issues hinder my workflow.
