Video Making tool with AI Integration
What do you like best about the product?
That I can easily convert my script into a video with a customized avatar.
What do you dislike about the product?
Editing features are limited, and sometimes pronunciation is different for the same word within one video.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are making several client facing videos with Synthesi and it has helped us a lot in assigning templates and avatars to our client demos.
Efficient and impactful results on clients
What do you like best about the product?
Saves lots of time in creating such professional videos, which are always editable for revisions. Very easy to be used , specially for those with video editing background. My frequency of use is mostly on need basis. usually 3-5 hrs per week on average. I never tried any integration so cant comment on that.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have been sharing my feedback through the app, however 1) quite recently avatar's hand-gestures are sometimes behaving weird, and by the time one realizes in generated video, it has already consumed credits and time for rending the video. There should be an option to include/exclude hand gestures. 2) While creating content, i dont find integrated generative-AI very effective in rewriting the phrases - Its not contextual most of the time. I always have to copy-paste rewrite from external sites like chatGPT. 3) Pronunciation of the same word appears different in the same script. Example: Cerner is sometimes pronounced as 'Serner' and sometimes as 'Kerner' - untill one fixes it. 4) Upon editing a finalized generated video, sometimes, avatars speech gesture delivery changes in the next generated-version, despite of the fact that you have not touched those slides. 5) While generating a video, it would be good to know the credit in hand and credits about to be spent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesis helps in conveying a crisp message to the client which sometime is lost in lengthy writups. The speed of achieving this is amazing.
Incredible results with a slight learning curve
What do you like best about the product?
The results I got from Synthesia were truly impressive and ended up saving me a significant amount of time. Additionally, the audio they produced was flawless, with no background noise—something that's often an issue with real-world recordings. Overall, I would rate Synthesia highly for ease of use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, the software would produce speech that didn't match the standard pronunciation of common words. In those instances, I had to use the pronunciation editor to adjust and coax it into saying the words correctly. While this issue wasn't frequent, it did occur a handful of times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia has made it much easier and quicker for me to create informational videos, eliminating the need to hire an actor or invest in expensive studio equipment for sound and lighting. This allows me to produce videos that are professional, engaging, and of high quality without the usual costs and setup.

For an AI-generated product, the realism and personal emotion achieved are astounding.

Limit of published minutes and sharing across different accounts.

Common AI video and voice over generators lack a personalized touch. I can achieve deeper emotion in the characters.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Synthesia is the excellent customer support. They make the implementation and setup process really simple. We use the software regularly for both sales and staff training videos, and the interface itself is very intuitive. I also like the flexibility in how it can be used — it integrates seamlessly and works side by side with our CRM, which makes it even more valuable for our team.

One downside is that the dubbing isn’t always perfectly synced, and sometimes the audio can sound noticeably AI-generated.

Synthesia has been a huge benefit for our team. It allows us to quickly create professional-looking videos for sales and staff training without needing extensive video production skills. This saves us a lot of time and resources, and helps us communicate more effectively with both clients and employees. Being able to integrate it alongside our CRM also streamlines our workflow, making our processes more efficient overall.

The quality of the videos is very high, also the voice set includes many languages (inclugin italian that was relevant for us)

The credit system is not 100% clear, it's complicated sometime to navigate how you spent them via API

The voices are realistic and it's pretty easy to figure uot how to create.

The best tool and platform I have used to produce quality videos using an Avatar and AI.
What do you like best about the product?
The best part besides using the platform was the customer support. I came across a few issues and needed help resolving what would be considered off hours, but the Synthesia team was there to help get me through to complete the tasks. I like the fact that I can use my own PowerPoint presentations and augment them with my Avatar voice to make a powerful presentation.

I really don't dislike anything about the Synthesia platform, but wish there was another plan to allow the user to increase the allotted annual minutes as needed.

One of the main problems Synthesia is solving is the now ability to use content created in other platforms like PowerPoint as part of the video presentation by simply importing the presentation. This is a huge problem that has now been resolved through use of the Synthesia platform.
