What do you like best about the product?
I am really excited about Synthesia, even while working on the Free plan. It feels very intuitive, making complex video creation simple and easy. One of the standout features for me is the AI Avatars, which I find particularly impressive. They give the videos a professional, stylized, and personal appeal, almost like having my own paid spokesperson for my business. This aspect of having a 'professional' presence adds significant value to the content I am creating. Additionally, the initial setup was pretty straightforward. After logging in, I found the dashboard to be clean and easy to navigate, which I appreciated.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that the templates in Synthesia could be more intuitive. It would be beneficial if all the templates loaded at once, allowing users to remove the ones they don't need, rather than having to add them individually. Additionally, the point-and-click editing feature could be made easier and more intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Synthesia makes complex video creation simple and easy while providing a professional touch with AI Avatars, enhancing my business's visual communication.

I appreciate Synthesia for its ability to create personalized, company-specific training videos at a much lower cost than traditional training providers. I love the ability to customize videos to meet our specific needs, making them far more relevant and engaging for employees. The feature to create AI avatars is particularly remarkable, adding a unique and modern touch to our training content. Additionally, I found the initial setup to be very easy and intuitive, which significantly streamlined our implementation process, allowing us to start leveraging Synthesia's capabilities right away.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the pricing model to be problematic as there seems to be a significant jump from the subscription level to the enterprise level in terms of cost. It would be beneficial to have a middle ground solution, such as the option to purchase additional credits.

I love how professional the avatars look and how natural the voice quality is, making my final videos look polished. The process significantly reduces the time needed to create these videos. Additionally, the initial setup of Synthesia was quick and easy, and I was impressed by the friendly and readily available customer service, which enhances my overall experience with the software. I recommended Synthesia to my team for use in pitch demos because it effectively fulfills our requirements without needing to integrate with other tools. The fact that I rate my likelihood of recommending it to others as a 10 out of 10 underscores how satisfied I am with Synthesia and its capabilities.

Super intuitive tool for AI video generation
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use. The interface and all the controls are intuitive and need very little help from reading 'how to' topics. Lot of useful features and easy to download and integrate the generated vide files.
What do you dislike about the product?
Monthly pricing is bit too high if there is no regular use for users each month.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No need for the tutor to record learning videos. I can use synthesia to convert my text lessons into videos.

As an account manager, it’s a huge time-saver. I can quickly create personalized client updates, training clips, or product overviews with consistent quality. The AI avatars and templates make the whole process fast, scalable, and easy to customize, which helps me communicate clearly and look polished without relying on a full production team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main downside is that customization can feel a bit limited when you need highly specific visuals or more natural, expressive avatar behavior. While the platform is great for quick, clean videos, there are times when I wish I had more control over animations, pacing, or branding elements. Complex edits still require work outside the platform, so it’s not always a complete replacement for traditional video tools.

Instead of scheduling filming, managing revisions, or relying on external teams, I can quickly create consistent, professional videos on my own. Overall, it helps me work faster, reduce production bottlenecks, and keep messaging clear and polished.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Synthesia’s outstanding customer service. They are quick to respond, as evidenced by the fact that I received a notification about my refund within just four minutes. This fast response time is truly impressive and made my experience with customer support very positive. Synthesia is a great company with excellent customer service, which is both accommodating and efficient in resolving issues swiftly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found it a bit challenging to get started with Synthesia as I'm not very tech-savvy, although it wasn't too overwhelming. I never progressed far with it since I only made one small video, which I didn't like enough to post. Due to my upcoming retirement, I won't be using it further.

Traditional methods of making videos can be very time-consuming, often requiring weeks to get through writing, filming, and editing, but Synthesia reduces this to just hours, or even minutes in some cases. I love the quick adoption process made possible by features like the Academy and Feature Fridays, which make it exciting and straightforward to learn and take full advantage of every function the software offers. The intuitive interface allows me to dive right in and start creating from the first log-in, and the tools available make it simple to enhance my videos. I also find the process of discovering different features and refining my videos to be enjoyable, thanks to the engaging way the platform keeps me informed about new possibilities. Additionally, the initial setup was seamless, and it was so efficient that we could launch our first video to the board on the very same day we began using it. Overall, Synthesia's ease of use, educational resources, and the significant reduction in video production time make it an invaluable tool. My experience has been so positive that I would absolutely recommend Synthesia to a friend or colleague.

I struggle with Synthesia's pronunciation features. While they are working on enhanced pronunciation options, I find it challenging to type out words phonetically to achieve the correct pronunciation I need. I would prefer a 'listen' feature that allows me to input the preferred pronunciation of a word or phrase so the avatar could mimic it. Additionally, expanding the language support to include options like First Nations languages would greatly enhance functionality for my needs.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how quick and easy Synthesia is to use. I can effortlessly add backgrounds to my projects and splice videos with slides, which makes the video creation process smooth and efficient. The platform allows me to quickly create brand-compliant videos, complete with a suitable accent and avatar. Additionally, I've found no other service that facilitates splicing with slides so easily, which makes Synthesia particularly valuable in my workflow. I was also impressed by the quality of the avatars, which is a significant improvement over other tools like HeyGen, and contributes to the professional quality of my training videos. The ability to quickly copy a previous video and only change the script to produce a new one further streamlines my workflow, making video production fast and hassle-free.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the speech in Synthesia is too slow, and I'd like to have the option to speed it up, perhaps to a rate of 1.2. Additionally, I initially found the setup process to be counterintuitive on several aspects, although I've managed to figure it out now.

I like all of the different multimedia assets Synthesia provides, including images, icons, and video, as well as the various types of avatars. From what I have heard, Synthesia offers some of the most realistic avatars available on the market in comparison to other platforms. It's also very easy to use, especially if you're familiar with creating PowerPoints, as adding animations and other elements feels quite similar. The range of features available significantly enhances the experience, making videos very engaging and interactive. The recent addition of buttons adds to this interaction. These features collectively help make the content feel like you're watching a real person explain concepts, and the use of images and icons adds a real-world perspective and helps draw attention to key information. I find this especially useful in making the content more digestible. Additionally, the initial setup for Synthesia was straightforward and simple, requiring just a username and password, allowing us to jump right into using the platform without a major setup process.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't use the interactive buttons with my current plan type. This limitation means I'm unable to download videos with button functionality, as buttons are non-functional in MP4 files. I also encounter exclamation point errors when generating videos, which require me to backtrack through scenes to locate and resolve them. This process of finding and fixing errors can be confusing and time-consuming. It would be helpful if Synthesia provided more immediate guidance or alerts about errors during the scene-building phase, rather than only at the end when generating the video.
