Quick, User-Friendly Training Video Creator
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how user-friendly Synthesia is, making it easy for me to change avatars and backgrounds effectively to enhance my training videos. The seamless initial setup was far easier than I anticipated, which allowed me to start using the software without any hassle. One of the standout features for me is the ability to quickly convert Word outlines or PowerPoint presentations into engaging video content in a very short amount of time, which significantly boosts my productivity. Moreover, the ability to update and revise text and images on the fly is incredibly convenient and saves me a lot of time. These features not only streamline my workflow but also help me produce very exciting videos consistently.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I need to adjust timing and such to make things flow better. I would also like to see the creation take a little less time. I understand that it takes time to generate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Synthesia to quickly convert word outlines and presentations into engaging videos, saving me time. Its user-friendly interface allows me to change avatars, backgrounds, and update content easily, creating exciting training videos efficiently.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the simplicity and intuitive nature of Synthesia, which allows me to create videos effortlessly and efficiently. It significantly improves our time management by enabling me to produce explainer videos quickly without the need for lengthy recording and animation processes in person. I particularly enjoy how I can animate elements without needing expertise in advanced tools like After Effects. The initial setup of Synthesia was very easy, which made the transition smooth and hassle-free.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Synthesia could be improved by offering more capabilities for animation and additional options for design-focused features. Currently, I sometimes have to use After Effects for certain animations or features that are too complex for Synthesia.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Synthesia to create videos quickly, improving time management and simplifying animation without advanced skills, allowing better customer understanding.
Loving the tool especially the interactivity
What do you like best about the product?
I love how efficient it is to create videos with a I.And the brand kit is extremely helpful in keeping the look and feel consistent. I love the option to create interactive videos which is actually the reason I pushed my organization to purchase it.Because in the training and development content, i'm creating it's imperative that users feel engaged, and and so i'm using the interactivity to enhance the scenario based assessments to make them feel even more relevant and captivating for the learners.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment I don't dislike any of the features.However, i'm on the creator plan and I can make interactive videos, but it would be great if I could also make interactive quizzes on the creator plan as well.Not just in the enterprise plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm creating lots of content about how to use a particular software for the sass company that I work for and the content converge on dry, because it is quite technical at times and involves law of terminology.So the videos I create with your platform, really allow me to liven up the material and create many breaks between all of the reading that does need to be done.

I love how Synthesia simplifies video creation for my client meetings and content generation for reels. The platform's intuitive interface ensures a very easy learning curve, even for someone who's not a graphic or video editor like me. The integration with tools like Make.com and ChatGPT is a standout feature, allowing for automated workflows and easy script generation, meaning I never start from scratch. Synthesia's pre-built templates are incredibly helpful, enabling me to tailor videos with personalized details like client names, which really enhances the personal touch of my communications. The ability to create a realistic avatar that looks and sounds just like me is fantastic, as it allows me to avoid the awkwardness of recording myself, yet still deliver personalized messages. This customization feature is invaluable, as it helps improve client experiences and makes my onboarding process more engaging. Additionally, the ease of integrating with APIs greatly enhances productivity, allowing different systems to communicate efficiently and save me considerable time. Despite the investment, I find the platform a worthwhile tool to maximize my efficiency and focus on core tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the syncing of the audio to the video in Synthesia problematic. There seems to be a slight delay between the video and my voice, or vice versa. This lack of perfect synchronization makes it apparent that the video is AI-generated, which can be a giveaway to viewers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Synthesia to automate video creation, saving time on editing, and integrating with Make for workflows, enabling me to focus on tasks that matter. It helps in personalized client onboarding and content creation without filming myself each time.
Simplified Avatar Creation, Needs Better Moderation
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how easy Synthesia makes it to create a true-to-life avatar. The feature of being able to input various types of text and having those expressions translated by the avatar is incredibly valuable. Once I got the hang of it, I could give my avatars the full range of expressions, making them very lifelike. This ease of creating realistic avatars not only saves time by eliminating the need for studio shoots or memorizing lines but also allows me to focus on scripting the avatar, which is a huge timesaver. The initial setup with Synthesia was straightforward, making the experience smooth right from the start.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Synthesia's algorithm for monitoring content overly aggressive, which is frustrating. Although I understand the need to prevent deep fakes and misinformation, the moderation often feels unjustified. When I challenge their decisions, they don't explain the reasons for rejecting my content. This has resulted in some of my videos—none of which violated the terms of service—not being approved for creation, which is very frustrating. Additionally, I would like more control over avatar expressions. The current setup overly focuses on emphasizing text rather than allowing directorial control over animations. I'd appreciate the ability to add cues like 'smile' or 'look serious' or 'blink' to enhance realism.

I use Synthesia to save time compared to traditional video shoots and scripting. It allows me to easily type what I want to say, creating lifelike avatars and videos without the need for a studio.

What do you like best about the product?
You can create a project using AI, which makes the process straightforward. The platform offers clear communication and is easy to learn. I also appreciate that it is constantly improving and actively listens to user feedback.

The main issue I have is with the limitations that come with the base subscription.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Synthesia is so easy to use and makes creating training content straightforward. It has templates that allow me to simply insert my scripts and utilize high-quality images without having to search for them myself. One of the standout features for me is the AI avatar that reads the scripts, eliminating the need for me to record my voice or appear on camera when creating training materials. Everything necessary to build our internal HR digital library is included in the package. I also appreciate how everything I create shows up on the home screen when I log in, which makes it incredibly convenient to see all my work without having to search through tabs or different spaces. Moreover, the initial setup was super easy and hassle-free, which was a huge plus. These aspects have greatly simplified the video creation process for our HR department and made the transition from using Everfi and Canva to Synthesia a seamless one.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it challenging to browse background videos by their length. Currently, there is no option to sort videos by time, which creates difficulty in finding a video long enough to match the voiceover length. This forces me to scroll through all the available videos until I find one that fits my needs.

I find Synthesia solves the need for purchasing educational videos, allowing me to create tailored HR training videos easily with AI avatars, templates, and high-quality images.
Mixed Experience with AI Capabilities and Censorship in Synthesia
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the ability of Synthesia to operate without the need for hiring real humans, which is a significant advantage in terms of cost-saving and efficiency. This feature stands out as it potentially reduces dependency on live actors or voiceovers, streamlining video generation processes and making it more accessible to create content at scale.
What do you dislike about the product?
Synthesia has an excessive and extreme censorship process that results in a long manual review line, which is unlike how other AI tools operate. Additionally, the AI capabilities in Synthesia are not the best, requiring me to use it alongside other AI tools like Gemini and ChatGPT.

I use Synthesia to reduce the need for hiring humans, which is beneficial.
Ease of Use with Room for Improvement in Credits
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Synthesia significantly enhances our video production capabilities, allowing us to create educational videos efficiently. The ease of use is remarkable, making it accessible for trainers with limited video creation experience to produce content that previously required hiring a cameraman and editor. Moreover, the quality of the output is impressive, meeting our professional standards. The initial setup of Synthesia proved to be fantastic, contributing to a smooth integration into our workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think the advertised 360 minutes on the professional license are an honest estimate. We were able to generate at most 100 minutes counting various edits and maybe 40 minutes of final footage.

I use Synthesia to significantly enhance video production with ease, allowing less experienced trainers to create high-quality videos without needing a cameraman or editor.
