What do you like best about the product?
The integration of GenAI, the ability to rewrite and rework the script quickly based on feedback, ability to produce professional quality content, the professional voices and appearance of avatars. Democratisation of content creation, given that it makes it accessible to someone who has no video editing creation skills!
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficulty of creating own avatar - it was unnatural; selfie avatar would zoom in and out; no easy way of pasting script and getting the content generated. Quite the steep learning curve.

Effortless Video Creation with Smooth Social Media Integration
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use from the beginning. You start easily making simple videos and then carry on making more detailed and even more professional files. I found it very easy to implement the videos into our social media and general workflow. Synthesia has so many features, from simple and easy to more technical for those that require it. It is superb for training purposes.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is little to dislike, sometimes I need to change wording a little to make sure the avatar I'm using sounds good.

It addresses the challenge of communicating our business message effectively to both our customers and our employees.
Quick video creation with beginner challenges
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Synthesia for about six weeks, mainly for creating small videos for our training program. I found Synthesia through a Google search as I was looking for a simple tool to create small promotional clips. I was quickly impressed during testing, and the wide range of avatars and the ease of use convinced me. I particularly appreciate the variety of provided templates, as I am not a media designer and they help me with the arrangement and color variation of the videos. The ability to modify the templates and control the avatar's gestures, such as raising eyebrows or nodding and shaking the head, contributes to the improvement of the videos. Being able to take on the role of director, deciding when the voice becomes loud or soft, I find very useful. Additionally, Synthesia offers a professional and unique result that is excellent for advertising on social media platforms like Instagram. The option to work with the basic tool and later upgrade to a larger package with custom voices and avatars is also appealing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it challenging that not every avatar is equally well synchronized when I change something in the template. The problem is known, and so far it only works well with one avatar that I am working with. This limitation in synchronization with other avatars is disappointing and should definitely be improved. Additionally, the interface was not familiar at first, which made the setup somewhat difficult. There is a learning curve in understanding the video formats and adapting them to different channels. It is problematic to create a video and later find out that it is not suitable for the respective channel, which can lead to visual inconsistencies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia allows me to easily create videos without prior knowledge in the video field, ideal for promotional clips. The pre-made templates and avatars facilitate the production of creative and professional content.

What do you like best about the product?
I find Synthesia incredibly user-friendly, which made it easy to start using the platform after finding it through an internet search. I appreciate its intuitive user interface and the availability of good templates, which streamline the setup process without much difficulty. The software is a good fit for our business case, as it eliminates the need to hire someone specifically for creating tutorial videos, saving us both time and resources. Synthesia's feature of text and video synchronization is particularly innovative; using avatar text as the timeline serves as a smart and efficient idea. This functionality proves beneficial, especially when making quick updates in response to changes in our software. Additionally, integrating Vimeo with Synthesia enhances our video production workflow, as Vimeo effortlessly handles video capture and basic editing before importing into Synthesia for further use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the selection of English (GB) avatar voices limited, which restricts the diversity of voices I can use for my videos. It is a subscription service, a PAYG model might suit smaller businesses better.

I use Synthesia to eliminate the need for hiring someone to create tutorial videos, making it easier to update them when our software changes.
Well-Designed Templates That Simplify Work
What do you like best about the product?
I like the templates—they make work easier and are crafted with great attention to detail.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t like that I can’t adjust the speaking speed of the uploaded personal avatar, that it gestures too much, and that it often fails to lower its voice at the end of a sentence or where it should. Of course, this might only be an issue with the Hungarian language. Sometimes I have to edit the video afterward because it automatically inserts a small image of the avatar between two scenes, which doesn’t fit there. I also don’t like that the remaining available time isn’t shown in minutes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me create corporate video content for advertising purposes. Additionally, videos made with the personal avatar eliminate the need for lengthy video shoots to produce the materials.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Synthesia is straightforward and really easy to use, allowing me to create videos in just minutes. It makes video production faster and cheaper while maintaining really high quality. The ability to edit quickly and create visually interactive videos is a game-changer, and it’s super easy to use, which I find great. The simplicity of the design stands out for me, making it possible to duplicate and create new videos quickly, and edit them super fast. I appreciate the integration capability with videos and screen shares. Synthesia is just a fantastic tool overall. I am also pleased with the current features, and the prospect of enhancements like better avatars, more features, and eventual AI integration is fantastic. I’m confident that maintaining these features and continuing improvements would make me buy Synthesia again.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that the process of generating the final video in Synthesia can be slow. Even after I've created the video content, the time it takes to render the video is not as fast as I would like.

I find Synthesia makes video creation much faster and cheaper, delivering high-quality outputs. It allows quick edits and creates interactive videos with ease, greatly benefiting our platform.
Quick, Easy and Fun
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. It's very easy to create a video from scratch or upload an AI created script.

So far everything's been great. I have only been using it for about a month so I don't have any dislikes yet.

It is taking the place of a manager performing these trainings.

The avatars look real enough to keep attention, and the voice quality has gotten impressively natural over time. For my coaching and online courses, it’s been a game-changer: I can create educational content fast, test ideas quickly, and stay consistent with my brand tone. It’s perfect for creators who want quality without wasting hours in post-production.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s powerful, but still has limits. Some avatars feel slightly robotic in emotional delivery, and the editing tools could use more flexibility — things like finer pacing control, camera movement, or more natural hand gestures. Uploading brand assets also feels a bit clunky compared to traditional video editors. It’s not a dealbreaker, but a few UX tweaks and creative upgrades would push it from great to exceptional.

Synthesia saves me from spending hours filming, editing, and re-recording. I can produce professional, on-brand videos for my coaching business and online courses without hiring talent or dealing with a full production setup. It bridges the gap between ideas and execution — letting me turn written content into engaging video in a fraction of the time. That speed and flexibility have helped me scale my content output while keeping quality consistent.

I find Synthesia amazing for its capability to upload a script into an already created template, which significantly simplifies the creation process for training videos tailored to my clients. The platform's ability to allow me to specify my target audience and then automatically select corresponding videos, pictures, and tone to align with the intended training outcomes is outstanding. This intuitive automation greatly enhances the relevance and impact of the videos I produce. I particularly love using the AI feature with personal avatars and templates, which have become crucial tools in my video creation process. Synthesia has dramatically reduced the time it takes to create a new training video while ensuring high-quality visuals and audio for our clients, thus enhancing their overall experience. Additionally, the ease of initial setup with Synthesia was quite straightforward, apart from a minor issue with creating personal avatars from older YouTube videos, but the recording option was a helpful workaround. Overall, these features collectively enhance my productivity and the effectiveness of my training videos.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that the options such as uploading a logo and some personal business options are not available unless I have a business account, making it challenging for clients who might not need a full business package. I would also like the ability for the logo to be automatically integrated into templates during AI-assisted video creation to streamline the process. Additionally, I found there was some confusion when trying to upload older YouTube videos to create a personal avatar, as this did not work, requiring a workaround through direct recording.

I find Synthesia significantly cuts down the time required to create training videos while enhancing the visual and audio quality for our clients.
