User-Friendly Avatar Creation with Unmatched Support
What do you like best about the product?
I like the way they handle my questions; they’re fast, professional, and friendly. I also find the initial setup of Synthesia very easy, which is saying a lot because I’m in no way technically savvy. The product is great at helping me solve technical problems that come up when working with my personal avatar. I’m using Synthesia to build my online course.
What do you dislike about the product?
The new personal avatars are relatively new and ever evolving. The odd time the appearance can be a little inconsistent.

Synthesia helps me solve technical problems with my personal avatar.

Tremendously Easy to Use with Polished, Realistic Avatars
What do you like best about the product?
Synthesia’s ease of use is tremendous. It offers plenty of options for how you want to work, whether you prefer a minimal hands-on approach with AI-generated content or you’d rather create everything from scratch. For our team, it’s been a perfect fit. The polished avatars look and feel extremely real, and I also like that you can choose the “mood” for each avatar.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I think the avatars are good overall, there’s still room for improvement, and I’m sure they’ll become even more life-like over time. That said, you can’t freely animate the avatar or have it move around a scene like a real actor. Custom gestures and more complex actions also aren’t supported. Lastly, even though the money isn’t coming out of my pocket, the basic pa subscription can still feel quite expensive. I’d like to see more “credits” included with the basic subscription.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It eliminates the need for traditional video production and saves a lot of time. It also makes revisions much faster. In a traditional setup, the process could take hours, but with this it can be done in minutes. You no longer have to hire a trained professional, which helps save money as well.
Synthesia: Cutting Production Costs with Ease
What do you like best about the product?
I use Synthesia for marketing videos, and it takes away all the production costs of a usual marketing video and the time it would normally take to create one. I love the personal avatar feature, which allows me to make fully customizable videos of anyone. I can create a one-time personal avatar for someone or a business and then reuse that avatar for an infinite amount of videos. Setting up Synthesia was as easy as it can get, and I had no difficulty. I would rate it 10 for being amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think improvements can be made by allowing access to more avatars that are fully loaded with hand gestures and facial expressions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia eliminates the production costs and man time of creating marketing videos. I can create a personal avatar once and use it indefinitely, making video production customizable and efficient.

What I like best about Synthesia is the combination of advanced technology and highly professional support.
During an organizational change within my company, I temporarily lost access to an account that was paid for by the company. The recovery process required legal verification, confirmation of my authority to represent the company, and a formal transfer of assets.
The Synthesia team handled the situation with professionalism, patience, and a strong focus on security. The case was escalated to the legal team, and after proper verification, the account – including videos, avatars, and voice assets – was successfully transferred to my official company email.
I truly appreciate that Synthesia takes account security seriously while still being able to resolve complex situations efficiently.

I wouldn’t say there is something I dislike about the platform itself. In my case, the decision to use Synthesia was originally made by my former business partner, primarily for content generation purposes.
In my view, Synthesia naturally excels in training materials, educational content, and corporate communication. When it comes to dynamic marketing-style content, it may require more creativity and format adaptation to achieve the desired engagement.
That said, I have been successfully using it to create short expert-style videos, and with the right strategy, it can also be effective for marketing purposes.

User-Friendly and Fast Video Creation Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Synthesia is user friendly because sometimes other sites I've tried are very confusing and take more time learning how to use than making a video. The many avatars you can choose from is vast on the site. I also love the fact that Synthesia offers training videos if I do not understand something. The AI Generate format is extremely helpful when I just want to copy and paste a script that I had written up for me. Synthesia is user-friendly and fast, allowing me to make demo videos in less than 20 minutes that would have taken me over an hour. The initial setup was very easy, taking me just a few minutes to create an account and start using it. Lastly, I have already recommended Synthesia to many other people.
What do you dislike about the product?
I guess the personalized AI avatar that I made of myself. I thought I would be able to change my own clothing like you can with the other avatars and the background as well and have me standing if I wanted my own avatar to be standing. It would be nice to have content on generating a podcast too for YouTube. Also, it would be nice to have it where you can add more credits, so like you can top your credits off without having to upgrade. I use Lovable and I love this feature with Lovable because if I do run out of building credits I have the option to top off my credits or upgrade. Also, I do love the current templates but I do wish there were more options for the templates.

I use Synthesia to create videos for my site ApplyLess, LLC, avoiding on-camera work. It's user-friendly, allowing me to quickly produce videos in under 20 minutes. I like the variety of avatars, AI-Generated format, and its integration with my Lovable account for efficient content creation.

the license model, confusing. For a customer it is unclear how the charging works per presentation created.

Feature Rich - Easy to Use and Intuitive for Fast Results
What do you like best about the product?
Product has been easy to use, very intuitive - which allows me to get started and produce quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found a way to export the pptx files that I modify in the platform. If that exists, it could be easier to find. Pronunciations are pretty easy to tweak, but they are "odd" in that the model occasionally pronounces things ok and then in later slides it doesn't.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to construct training introductions and videos for one, the other area will be more "advertisement" centric - to help develop youtube videos for our company. It is quite easy to use, and I am optimistic that I can build a full training course quickly - just need a few more hours in the day....

I think it's good that I can convey information in a video.

Everything is in English, which can sometimes be a bit challenging.

Create Avatar Videos in Minutes—From Simple Clips to Sophisticated Interactions
What do you like best about the product?
At one level, I can easily and reliably produce avatar videos in minutes. At another level, I can produce highly sophisticated avatar interactions and quizzes.
What do you dislike about the product?
It feels set up for training, which is great, but I'd love to incorporate Synthesia into my website and other areas. It's not so obvious how to do this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Extending the teaching hours for apprentices without the burden and costs of additional tutors.
