We are a startup company and needed a good video for investors to understand our proposition.
What do you like best about the product?
The app was easy to use and was full of great features to get what I needed done fast. Also, the ability to let my partners to review the version iterations easily was very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main issue I had was that the preview feature for viewing each scene was a little buggy, and it would have been nice to have the animated avatar active in the preview.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a low budget, and this allowed me to create a quality video to include in our investor packet for raising funding. This product exceeded my expectations!
Great tool to create training videos
What do you like best about the product?
AI has streamlined the video-making process for me. I've always struggled with getting started and the AI generated video functionality handles this part for me - I like that I can take a ppt, script, pdf, etc. and the AI generator will create a starter video that I can use as a jumping-off point.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a learning curve - but that's to be expected with any new technology. Fortunately, Synthesia has a wealth of training materials that you can use to get up to speed on how best to use the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia is helping us improve our existing training content - our videos are more engaging and more professional looking.
An effective way to create custom videos with realistic avatars
What do you like best about the product?
It's quite intuitive and offers a good range of different avatars on the first paid plan. It's quite easy to get going and doesn't take too long to generate videos. The voices accompanying the avatars are realistic, and the lip sync between the avatar and it's voice is convincing. I had an outage on my first use of the system, but Maurice was able to investigate, confirm it was their end, and then updated me when they'd resolved the issue. I was able to download my video file on the second attempt at generation and include it in my Figma design.
What do you dislike about the product?
Changing the background slide isn't as intuitive as it could be - I wanted a plain background with a single colour, with my chosen avatar on top. It took me a while to work out how to do that.

Providing a proof-of-concept video for an AI avatar product we're considering building.

What do you like best about the product?
Synthesia was my first attempt at creating an AI avatar, and the results were stunning. I was thrilled by how easy it was to use, and the outcome was truly breathtaking. I’ve already recommended it for creating our corporate educational videos for onboarding and business partners. I’m looking forward to seeing how the platform develops further.

What do you like best about the product?
Synthesia impresses with its easy operation – even without prior knowledge, you can quickly create professional videos. The videos are beautifully designed, with high-quality visual elements and a polished look. Particularly noteworthy is the excellent translation: With support for over 130 languages, texts are produced precisely and naturally. The appealing avatars are diverse and realistic.
What do you dislike about the product?
What could be extended are the minutes per month, which are sometimes a bit tight.

E-Learning & further education, here we can use Synthesia well, especially in different languages.

My experience using Synthesia
What do you like best about the product?
I loved the AI Avatar and Selfie Avatar functions from Synthesia, as well as the auto-script and video scene generation based on the content and context of the videos I was creating. It totally saved hours and hours of manual production time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wasn't able to publish content related to current events, even though the content was written by me. Furthermore, I didn't realize the content was allowed to be published until after I spent long hours putting everything together.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Auto scene and script generation, as well as Avatar selections.
Very Intuitive Tool!
What do you like best about the product?
I like how intuitive the editor is! It is easy to make the changes I want.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was designed a bit more like a video editor in which I can add audio tracks across the whole video and edit the volume easier. If this tool had more video editing features it would be perfect!
