Efficient Video Creation with Language Flexibility
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Synthesia provides a range of avatars which makes it very handy for generating clips. I really appreciate the ability to easily translate content from any language to another, which is very helpful. The avatars save us a lot of time as it speeds up recording clips and allows us to provide information in various languages to our clients. Synthesia is very useful because it avoids the time-consuming process of finding someone who speaks the language and editing the clips that we provide and record.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the avatars have extra movements like head nodding which is not really good. We have to use a video editor software to delete those parts. It would be very helpful if they can eliminate these extra movements and make it more natural. Also, I had to explore the options. It could be more user friendly, especially if they can add tutorials like separate sections for the people who are unfamiliar with the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Synthesia to generate clips with avatars, saving time on recording. It lets us translate content into various languages, which is very useful and handy for providing information to clients.

I like Synthesia because it's easy to use and can work with MS tools. The plug and play functionality with PowerPoint is great, allowing for copy and paste. I find the video generation process to be very long, which can be quite frustrating. Also, I think the service is very expensive.

I like Synthesia for creating online training videos mainly because of its ability to customize avatars, backgrounds, and the AI speech. It really helps me tailor them more to my brand and make them sound more realistic. Also, the initial setup of Synthesia was extremely easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice if you could simply drop an image for a background rather than trying to create a scene using AI and commonly having the image get distorted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Synthesia for creating online training videos. It solves HD video creation by offering models and actors, and lets me customize avatars, backgrounds, and AI speech to tailor them more to my brand and sound realistic.
Clever Slide & Video Integration, but Lip-Sync Realism Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Very clever technology that integrates well into slides and videos. Good transitions.

The lipsync tech could be better. More realism could be applied perhaps with the very latest models

What do you like best about the product?
I like using Synthesia because it is very easy to use, letting me get things done quickly and effectively while producing really high-quality videos. The video creation feature is especially valuable for us as it allows us to create eLearning videos without the hassle of coordinating multiple people's schedules; what used to take two to three weeks now only takes an afternoon. I also appreciate that it can be easily updated if there's a change in processes or procedures. The initial setup was very easy and straightforward, with an onboarding process that includes setting up company colors and fonts, allowing for customization as we go along.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment, the cost is very expensive because Synthesia and similar companies are pioneers in this space. I think that's gonna have to come down.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia lets us create high-quality elearning videos quickly, eliminating the need for team members to repeatedly write scripts, which is helpful for those who feel nervous or awkward. It speeds up video production from weeks to an afternoon and allows easy updates.
Great Model Variety and Media Library, But Limited Control Over Timing and Pronunciation

The large diversity of models, voice, the catalogue of pics/videos usable in back, the possibility of create small infography
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not possible to control the lenght of the video, control the speed of the voice, working finely on the prononciations (often you change a word and that break something else, something before well pronounced it's now bad), there'es no timeline, we cannot see the real result without generate (and use credit) the video, you can change the clothes of only few avatars

None "problems". i use it now for making trainings, narrative parts mostly, but just a part of the training, not the entire one

What I like most about Synthesia is the ease of creating new videos and the ability to customize the avatars. This really helps the brand we want to showcase to have a prominent presence in the avatars and gives them a greater impact.

Personal avatars, when created through guidance, do not have very realistic movements and take quite a long time to generate the new video.

I like that with Synthesia, I can change and alter the videos on a weekly basis based on what I need. This flexibility makes life a lot easier, especially since inductions change regularly with updates. I also found the initial setup to be super easy.

Sometimes the AI with Synthesia may look very good, but it takes a very long time to create a video. This can cause a real problem. The hands on the AI videos just look odd, and they can sometimes distract from the content, as people might get sidetracked looking at the hands.
