Simplifies Video Creation with User-Friendly Interface
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Synthesia doesn't require users to be incredibly tech-savvy to operate it. You just type up the words you want, select an AI avatar, and create. Downloading the MP4 is simple and easy to include in our back office platform. It saves us time and reduces frustration because it's easy to correct and update the content. Working in real estate where rules change quickly, not having to rewrite scripts and shoot video content is usually effective for updating our online information. Also, setting up the account and starting using it was incredibly easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Improvement could be made on some of the avatars as we generate multiple videos using different avatars. Some are more human-like than others. I did a custom avatar and although the likeness physically was good, the voice-over was not.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia helps us save time and frustration by easily updating content with welcome videos that provide overviews, plus it's simple to correct and update.

What do you like best about the product?
I have used some other avatar platforms in the past, and I can easily say that Synthesia is by far the easiest platform to navigate, whilst standing out in creating the most aesthetically pleasing content, especially for a corporate environment. Customer support is also excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to make some sentences be read out slower instead of having to implement 1 or 2s pauses every now and then.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to create high quality content both in the fraction of the time, as well as at a fraction of the cost than it would have using a studio and film crew.

The initial setup of Synthesia is described as very easy and beginner-friendly, with many users never needing a tutorial to get started. Users can create professional-quality videos quickly without prior video editing experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
The realism and emotional range of the avatars could be better. I also see some room for growth in creative flexibility. There can be occasional issues with the content moderation system, and the pricing structure could be more suited for high-volume or specific use cases.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like using Synthesia for creating courses on my educational platform. It helps me create lessons fast and error-free. I enjoy the recent conversational and realistic moving avatars, and I love having very realistic custom avatars. The initial setup was super easy, which I find really convenient.
What do you dislike about the product?
The translate feature doesn't work for me in my creator plan.

What do you like best about the product?
The new Avatars are fantastic. I’d love to see more of them, and I think it would be great to replace the older ones.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, when your video is rejected for different reasons, it can be difficult to figure out exactly what caused the issue. It would be helpful to have more detailed information about the specific reason for the rejection.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I create ads to promote our customer webinars and also produce videos for our social media posts.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how flawless the tools in Synthesia are and how interactive and realistic the videos look. The customization options available with the AI avatars, which are used to introduce meeting agendas, are a particular favorite of mine. People really appreciate these AI talking avatars for their realism and interactivity. Additionally, I find the quality of the tools impressive, and the ease of accessibility is a significant advantage. I enjoy the continuous innovation within the platform and the frequent updates that keep enhancing its functionalities. Furthermore, the initial setup of Synthesia is straightforward and very easy to navigate, with no complicated processes involved, as everything is clear on the screen.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the main area where Synthesia could improve is in offering a greater number of customizable avatars. Having more geographically and culturally diverse avatars would significantly enhance the user experience, facilitating better representation and personalization.

I use Synthesia to create AI avatars for meeting introductions, which are highly customized and well-received. It streamlines our process with flawless tools and realistic videos, eliminating the need for other products like Hey Jen.
Revolutionizing Learning with Multilingual Avatars
What do you like best about the product?
Synthesia offers the easiest pathways to including synthetic human avatars speaking a variety of languages to our educational products. We wanted to affirm the identity of all learners regardless of their ability to read text. They don't have to - they have avatars to help them learn! We already have dozens of videos in English, Spanish and Arabic with avatars that switch easily between multiple languages.
What do you dislike about the product?
The most time-consuming aspect of getting our Synthesia videos ready to publish, is making certain the phrasing and pronounciation is correct for the spoken text. The tools are there - but it takes a real human to know if the avatar sounds right or not.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are working with individuals that don't read well, and need an audio interface to understand presented content in multiple languages.
Facilitate the Creation of Realistic Avatars, but Could Improve its Interface
What do you like best about the product?
I like the realism of the avatars in Synthesia, which really makes the videos look authentic and professional. Additionally, I appreciate the ease of editing that the platform offers. I'm surprised at how simple it is to customize avatars and create content without complications. The simplicity and efficiency in daily use are features that I consider very valuable and that greatly facilitate the video production process for my agency's social media.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the editor does not have the option to view all the layers, which makes it a bit complicated when making more complex videos. I think the editing interface could be improved quite a bit.

User-Friendly Platform with Great Features, But Limited Access for Smaller Teams
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the platform is user friendly - It offers a lot of features that offer high quality results for not that much effort. It's easy to figure out without looking a tutorial. I love that I can import videos custom from other sights like Canva.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that you could download a SCORM files as a creator. My company isn't large enough to qualify for the Enterprise plan, so it's a bit unfair that I pay for the more expensive plan I can get while not being able to use all the features.
I also wish that you could see a selection pane for each scene so I can hide or show one or more objects at a time; I often have to create several layers of visuals for the final product and if I ever have to make adjustment to the bottom layer, I have to move every single shape/text box, then make sure I move them back into place.
Lastly, a lot of the AI voices need pronunciation help. You can fix some of the issues by adding pronunciations or using commas/ellipses, but it difficult to inject excitement and tone into the script. Sometime the exclamation points make the AI voice yell.

Synthesia is allowing us to create professional training content without having to hire designers and engineers. We used to spend a lot of time trying to get the perfect voice recording for training videos and that gave it a "homemade" feel, so being able to create AI and high quality graphics saves us a lot of time.

What do you like best about the product?
It does what you said it would do. Lots and lots of choices for presenters.

Lack of movement makes the video too much a "talking head"
