Create Presentation Videos Anywhere, Even While Traveling

    Reviewed on Jun 03, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I can create presentation videos even when I’m away traveling.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s no free option that lets me create at least one avatar. That’s the main feature I want to try before I subscribe. I’d like to see at least a free trial that includes avatar creation for 30 days.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I mostly use it for presentation videos when I can’t attend meetings but still need to be present. It’s especially helpful for meetings in different time zones, where I need to present something that still looks human.

    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to use. The AI features make it so quick and easy to create content and the translations and dubbing are great. I also appreciate the support from the support team, they are quick and very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike anything about it. The only thing I would change is the dubbing credits system, but I understand why it works like that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed our content to be accessible by employees with different languages, which Synthesia has made super easy.

Some avatars and voice styles can feel a bit robotic at times. Customization is also limited in a few areas, especially if you want more creative control over the videos.

Fast Video Creation That’s Close to the Finished Vision

    Reviewed on May 28, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
It creates videos fast and close to what I would like the finished product would look like
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the UX need to be more refined, for example mapping where an object appears in the shot and leaves the shot, or mapping the timeline with the script. It can be frustrating to make an avatar say a word a certain way, but can never get it right.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It creates videos automatically without the speaker record themselves for the whole thing. And it translates in minutes.

The Perfect Tool for Scaling Corporate L&D and Onboarding Videos

    Reviewed on May 27, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
As a Learning and Development Coordinator for a small-sized organization, my primary use case for Synthesia is transforming standard, text-heavy training manuals and compliance PowerPoints into engaging video content. We use the platform to generate onboarding modules, software walkthroughs, and internal policy updates featuring AI avatars. Because our workforce is distributed across various regions, we also heavily rely on Synthesia to instantly localize and translate our core training videos into multiple languages without ever needing to hire external translators or voice actors and What I Like the most about Synthesia is how incredibly intuitive and fast the entire production workflow is. You absolutely do not need any formal video editing or animation background to create something that looks highly polished and professional. The quality of the AI avatars is genuinely impressive; the subtle micro-expressions, lip-sync accuracy, and natural head movements make them look surprisingly human, which keeps our employees engaged. The text-to-speech engine is fantastic, and I love that I can simply drop my training script into the editor, select a presenter that matches our corporate culture, and have a ready-to-publish SCORM-compliant video in minutes. It completely removes the constant struggle of trying to book a quiet room for recording or begging our busy subject-matter experts to sit in front of a camera.
What do you dislike about the product?
While it is an amazing tool, there are a few frustrating limitations that we have to work around. The biggest con for me is the lack of deep emotional control over the AI voices. The standard voices sound great for dry, informational compliance training, but if I am trying to build a soft-skills module where the avatar needs to convey excitement, empathy, or urgency, the delivery can still feel a bit flat and robotic. Another major pain point is how the pricing and credit system is structured. Editing a video after it has already been generated consumes your monthly video credits all over again. This feels unnecessarily punishing if you notice a tiny typo in the script after rendering and just need to make a two-second fix. I also wish there were more dynamic options for how the avatars interact with the background elements on the screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The absolute biggest problem Synthesia has solved for our L&D team is the absolute nightmare of updating outdated training content. In the past, whenever our internal software had a minor UI update or the company changed a specific HR policy, we had to scrap the old training video, re-hire a voiceover artist, and rebuild the asset from scratch, which was expensive and took weeks. A real-life example of this happened just last month when our legal team abruptly updated our data privacy protocols. Instead of panicking and launching a whole new video production cycle, I simply opened our existing Synthesia project, edited three sentences of text in the script, hit generate, and uploaded the fresh, updated video to our learning management system by lunchtime. It has drastically cut down our production costs and improved our time-to-market for vital training materials.

Easy Video Creation with Minor AI Limitations

    Reviewed on May 26, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Synthesia does not require professional editing knowledge, making it easy to edit and create presentation videos. The platform is very simple and easy to navigate. It helps build AI avatars to create talking head infographic videos and offers various voice-over artists to record audio. The fact that real human talking head translation is pre-recorded is helpful too. I find it to be a very efficient tool in the market right now.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the AI avatar doesn't feel natural. The animations are limited and basic. Only one person can be present in a two-person scenario at this time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia helps me create talking head infographic videos with AI avatars and offers voice-over artists for audio recording, eliminating the need for professional editing skills.

Incredibly Realistic AI Avatars with Natural Voice Modulation

    Reviewed on May 22, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best is the incredible realism of the AI avatars and their natural voice modulations. It makes video creation look highly professional without needing a camera or a studio.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the avatars look great, their body language and hand gestures can sometimes feel a bit rigid or repetitive during longer videos, which slightly reduces the overall natural feel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia solves the bottleneck of traditional video production, which requires expensive cameras, actors, and long editing hours. It benefits me by allowing the creation of high-quality training and educational videos in minutes, directly from text scripts, which significantly cuts down our budget and time-to-market.
