Brilliant for Training Videos, Needs AI Automation
What do you like best about the product?
I use Synthesia to make training videos, and I find it great because I can edit, change, and create new versions of the videos. It's brilliant.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Synthesia had an AI assistant where I could feed in the script and it would automatically do the bullet points in the background, the scene settings, some animations, and so on. Doing it all manually is a bit of a pain.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Synthesia primarily for training video creation. I love its ease of use, making it simple to create training videos quickly that are easy for employees to consume. One specific feature I value is the ability to convert documents into videos, as Synthesia does a fantastic job of making a concise 2-3 minute video from the document content. The initial setup was extremely easy, literally as simple as signing up.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the pronunciation of words can be a bit weird. It can sometimes take quite a bit of time, an hour or more, just to get the AI to say certain words properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia lets us create training videos quickly, making them easy for employees to consume.

I like using Synthesia's digital features and capabilities because it allows me to improve my technical skills and knowledge to create the most professional and engaging videos for all of my organization's business purposes.

I have no negative or unfavorable comments about Synthesia's digital features and capabilities, I think it is a high performance and commercially useful system.

Thanks to the use of Synthesia's digital capabilities and tools, I have been able to improve the communication of my business's professional projects through advanced and attractive digital videos, improving the fulfillment of all our business objectives.
Helpful When Fast, But Moderation Timing Is Too Inconsistent.
What do you like best about the product?
The moderation process is not consistent. Sometimes it is almost immediate and sometimes it can take hours. this is not conducive to our business model

Inconsistent moderation process does not allow for predictability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For our business model we need to produce short clips of between 1 to 2 minutes in order to facilitate the Help functions for our own online application. Synthesia could potentially fill this gap for us.
A good tool for Video generation.
What do you like best about the product?
The addition of voice to the slide and the natural speaking method is quite good.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI Voice generation for some of the voice is not very good and can lead to certain issues after video creation.

I have told the customer services about certain QoL issues related to languages. Solving that will help tremendously in providing a more tailored experience for the customers.

Great Voice Capabilities and an Ever-Improving UX

Voice capabilities in addition to importing audio video and using synthesia interface for stock images and finally the overall ux is nice and improves all the time

Not much, the fact that my credits expire after some time even if I renew my subscription

What do you like best about the product?
I find Synthesia's constant updates to the application beneficial, and I appreciate its ease of use and user-friendly interface. It's very simple for a non-technical user like me to navigate and create simple videos.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that setting timings and managing image and text movement within a frame could be simpler to use. Also, the avatar selection could be more diverse since there are lots of young people.

I use Synthesia to make corporate videos, support proposals, and develop training content. It reduces the time for video creation and posting and creates short feedback loops.
Easy Avatar Videos & Course Creation, But Personalized Avatars and Reviews Can Frustrate
What do you like best about the product?
You can quickly start using their provided avatars to create videos. The interface to do this is simple. It's also useful to create an encapsulated course in Synthesia.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you want to create a personalized avatar, it's problematic. For example, if you upload a video as the basis for the avatar, you cannot modify the avatar background (even if the source video was shot using a green screen). If you use your webcam for the source video you can swap the background.
Also, I needed to make an avatar for a company VP. The VP had to login to Synthesia on my account and approve the avatar. That was not convenient. Not sure how they fix that though...
Also, when you create a video, it's reviewed for harmful language. The review sometimes flags things as harmful that are not harmful.
