Clear, Natural AI Speech Enhances Training Experience
What do you like best about the product?
The AI speaker which speaks through the training content clearly and with the right intonation. It's extremely easy to get started. I was able to create my first training with very limited experience with the tool. It's allowed me to create trainings from scratch very easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like the ability to more easily have the AI person make gestures, although this has improved over time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of creating video trainings without having to film myself to make it more engaging.

I find Synthesia to be a bit pricey. Additionally, I wish there was more control over the speaking emphasis and pronunciation, as these features could enhance the quality of the videos I create.

I find that most avatars in Synthesia lack forehead expressions, which could really enhance the realism and engagement if improved. Additionally, I would appreciate having the ability to insert gesture prompts directly within the script, as this would allow for more nuanced and expressive communication within the content produced.

I really appreciate how Synthesia offers the ability to create quick and easy videos with avatars simply by writing scripts, which saves both time and money. The straightforward setup process enhances this convenience. Even though I'm currently using it for simple videos, the potential to improve video quality in the future is promising. The speed at which I can produce these videos is highly beneficial, especially since I'm managing the tasks without a team. Synthesia's capacity to support projects solo, eliminating the necessity of hiring additional help, is invaluable. I give Synthesia a strong rating of 8.5 to 9, owing to its efficiency and ease of use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customizing the video backgrounds with timings on text and other enhancements feels a bit complicated. I haven't been able to fully grasp it, and due to time constraints, I haven't dug deep enough into it. It would be helpful if there was a marketplace attached where I could reach out to someone else to handle that work for me.

I am not very impressed by Synthesia, particularly with the custom avatar feature. The lip-sync and audio from the customized avatar did not meet my expectations, as they are not very good.

What do you dislike about the product?
I think the avatar, voice, and lip movements could be improved on a little bit. It seems to be a little not realistic sometimes with the avatar. Additionally, I noticed there are limitations with custom avatars unless you're using your own avatar. The custom avatars provided by Synthesia are limited to the content due to the nature of the work.

I find Synthesia simplifies creating informational videos, making the process intuitive and quick, and helps in producing realistic content efficiently.

What do you like best about the product?
This is truly a mind-blowing marketing tool. It enables companies to expand their video capabilities, generating scripts and integrating them seamlessly with avatars.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it quite frustrating that in order to brand videos, you have to purchase the entire Morose package, which costs 12k per year. It seems reasonable to expect a company’s colors and logo to be automatically included in every video.

This tool is making it easier for me to scale video production at a low cost.
