Effortless Tutorial Creation, Perfect for Training
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the ability to quickly create tutorials and quizzes with Synthesia. It helps us by allowing us to quickly create step-by-step instructions on how to use our platform. The initial setup was also incredibly easy, I would rate it a 10 on a scale of one to 10.
What do you dislike about the product?
That I don't have the ability to create an AI Quiz like this!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia decreases the learning curve on our platform and allows us to quickly create step-by-step tutorials and quizzes.
Incredibly Real Avatars and Pro-Quality Videos with Perfect Voice
What do you like best about the product?
It is incredible how real the personal avatars are. The software got my voice perfect. Plus, the tools on the platform for making professional quality videos is outstanding.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice if Synthesia had an option to post to social media directly from Sythesia's platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to scale my video / social media output without having to repeatedly get in front of a camera.
Game-Changer for Professional Video Creation
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate that Synthesia makes putting out professional, current, and relevant content easy and fast. It's been a game changer for us. I love that the avatars and voices of avatars are so professional and lifelike, which eliminates the need for doing multiple takes with a human who might stumble over words. One or two takes and it's done with Synthesia. It's easy to upload the information and navigate the site. The initial setup was extremely easy, and they provide educational videos along the way to help you learn how it works. Overall, I am really happy with Synthesia and would completely recommend it to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the avatars are hard to change or experiment with to find the right one. Also, the branding of our company isn't easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia makes creating professional, current, and relevant content easy and fast. It's a game changer for us, enhancing our ability to provide quality training videos.
Efficient Video Creation with AI and Multi-Avatar Features
What do you like best about the product?
I really like Synthesia's ability to have multiple avatars in one video, which is great for recreating different scenarios with people having conversations, like customer calls or group meetings. I also appreciate the AI feature that allows me to create videos by adding scripts and then having Synthesia use AI to populate the video with scenes. The AI cleverly picks the right templates and slides, coming up with the text and titles on screen. This makes the process a lot faster than creating videos or presentations on their own. Overall, these features make my work much easier and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think some avatars come with a US American accent when we're looking for a UK accent, which makes it tough to sync the lips with the avatar. It's also sometimes difficult to create videos in one go because you have to tweak the text and the intonation of the words, which isn't always right. It would also be good to have more third-generation avatars available. The video generation time can be annoying as it sometimes takes over an hour. One other things is adding screen recordings into scenes. When screen recording directly within synthesia the video is not easily editable once in the scene. So more often than not we tend to do the screen recording outside of synthesia, edit as needed and then upload it as a normal video into a slide.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia helps me create scenarios with multiple avatars in meetings, making training videos faster and consistent with a common host. It reads scripts and uses AI to quickly generate videos, saving time compared to traditional methods.
Create Anytime: Powerful Tools Once You Know the Features
What do you like best about the product?
I can work with these tools 24/7/365 whenever I am inspired. Once you get to know what each features benefits and limitation are you can produce a lot.
What do you dislike about the product?
A bit of a learning curve at first. The AI helper only helped 50%. It was elevated to a person and my challenges were handled better/faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can create content much faster with varying backgrounds since we are a small business.
Versatile Voice Over with User-Friendly Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the variety that Synthesia offers. It provides a good range of voices, including options for using it in Arabic, which is quite hard for many AIs. The ease of use stands out, especially for voice-over and training purposes. It's impressive that with the right pronunciation and proper use of punctuation, the output can sound almost human-like, which I find very important.
What do you dislike about the product?
The sample name stage needs to be worked on for editing. The Arabic language is a challenge. English is super easy, but Arabic is a challenge, although it's acceptable after trying once or twice or modifying it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Synthesia for voiceovers, providing a good variety of voices. It's effective in Arabic, which is challenging for many AIs. Doing trainings is easy, and it delivers almost human-like quality.

The customer service is great, the software not so.

What do you like best about the product?
This tools allows to create modern educational materials within minutes by using the best-in-class inbuilt AI.
What do you dislike about the product?
Everything is fine, cause Synthesia is constantly developing and growing a list of available features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it as a basic tool for learning materials creation. The only thing I create separatly is script, although Synthesia can do it on it's own. Screen capturing, video edition, voice management and many othe features are in use in Synthesia.
Effortless Video Creation for Novices
What do you like best about the product?
I really find Synthesia very easy to use, especially when working with existing blog content. You just give the URL, and it provides a little bit of direction. I also think the ease of changing avatars or switching them around is really helpful. We have tested a few products, but Synthesia just works out of the box, which is great for novice individuals like myself who don't have a background in graphic design or creative fields. It's possible to make a pretty decent blog post video without any expertise. The initial setup was quite easy too; we managed to turn out a video within ten to fifteen minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting used to Synthesia can take some time. We've been using it for about four to six weeks, and one of the avatars didn't pronounce things properly or spoke quickly, which wasn't easy to streamline. Sometimes, after highlighting and typing the pronunciation, it didn't save a couple of times. Also, converting new content into a video took more effort compared to existing blog content. It wasn't as easy out of the box and required more practice for non-automatic conversion.

Synthesia allows us to create videos without any expertise, which is perfect for our data-driven SEO digital marketing agency lacking those skills. It's easy to use, especially for transforming blog content into videos, and clients are happy with the results.
Edit Scripts in Real time While Playing Video—A Total Game-Changer
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can edit the script while the video is playing. The real-time editing experience saves a lot of time compare to other products.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could be more affordable, especially for freelance users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Script to voice problem and the real-time editing. Most of the other script-to voice tools generate the audio as a whole, with Synthesia you don't need to wait for the full audio to be generated all over again.
