Effortless Video Creation and High Quality
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Synthesia is straightforward and really easy to use, allowing me to create videos in just minutes. It makes video production faster and cheaper while maintaining really high quality. The ability to edit quickly and create visually interactive videos is a game-changer, and it’s super easy to use, which I find great. The simplicity of the design stands out for me, making it possible to duplicate and create new videos quickly, and edit them super fast. I appreciate the integration capability with videos and screen shares. Synthesia is just a fantastic tool overall. I am also pleased with the current features, and the prospect of enhancements like better avatars, more features, and eventual AI integration is fantastic. I’m confident that maintaining these features and continuing improvements would make me buy Synthesia again.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that the process of generating the final video in Synthesia can be slow. Even after I've created the video content, the time it takes to render the video is not as fast as I would like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Synthesia makes video creation much faster and cheaper, delivering high-quality outputs. It allows quick edits and creates interactive videos with ease, greatly benefiting our platform.
Quick, Easy and Fun
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. It's very easy to create a video from scratch or upload an AI created script.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far everything's been great. I have only been using it for about a month so I don't have any dislikes yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is taking the place of a manager performing these trainings.

What do you like best about the product?
Synthesia makes video creation ridiculously efficient. I can turn a script into a polished, professional-looking video in minutes — without needing a camera crew, actors, or editing software. The avatars look real enough to keep attention, and the voice quality has gotten impressively natural over time. For my coaching and online courses, it’s been a game-changer: I can create educational content fast, test ideas quickly, and stay consistent with my brand tone. It’s perfect for creators who want quality without wasting hours in post-production.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s powerful, but still has limits. Some avatars feel slightly robotic in emotional delivery, and the editing tools could use more flexibility — things like finer pacing control, camera movement, or more natural hand gestures. Uploading brand assets also feels a bit clunky compared to traditional video editors. It’s not a dealbreaker, but a few UX tweaks and creative upgrades would push it from great to exceptional.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia saves me from spending hours filming, editing, and re-recording. I can produce professional, on-brand videos for my coaching business and online courses without hiring talent or dealing with a full production setup. It bridges the gap between ideas and execution — letting me turn written content into engaging video in a fraction of the time. That speed and flexibility have helped me scale my content output while keeping quality consistent.

What do you like best about the product?
I find Synthesia amazing for its capability to upload a script into an already created template, which significantly simplifies the creation process for training videos tailored to my clients. The platform's ability to allow me to specify my target audience and then automatically select corresponding videos, pictures, and tone to align with the intended training outcomes is outstanding. This intuitive automation greatly enhances the relevance and impact of the videos I produce. I particularly love using the AI feature with personal avatars and templates, which have become crucial tools in my video creation process. Synthesia has dramatically reduced the time it takes to create a new training video while ensuring high-quality visuals and audio for our clients, thus enhancing their overall experience. Additionally, the ease of initial setup with Synthesia was quite straightforward, apart from a minor issue with creating personal avatars from older YouTube videos, but the recording option was a helpful workaround. Overall, these features collectively enhance my productivity and the effectiveness of my training videos.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that the options such as uploading a logo and some personal business options are not available unless I have a business account, making it challenging for clients who might not need a full business package. I would also like the ability for the logo to be automatically integrated into templates during AI-assisted video creation to streamline the process. Additionally, I found there was some confusion when trying to upload older YouTube videos to create a personal avatar, as this did not work, requiring a workaround through direct recording.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Synthesia significantly cuts down the time required to create training videos while enhancing the visual and audio quality for our clients.
Intuitive and Efficient for Video Localization
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the intuitive and easy-to-learn interface of Synthesia. For someone who had never used it before, it was very straightforward and clear, allowing me to navigate the tool with ease. The automatic translation feature is incredibly beneficial, as it simplifies the localization process; I just need to review the translations rather than creating them from scratch. This significantly speeds up our workflow. I also like how quickly I can produce a high volume of content, which is essential for our email marketing campaigns across multiple markets like Portugal, Italy, and Spain. The quick response from customer support is a major plus, as they resolved my issue of being unable to publish a video within a minute. These features collectively enhance efficiency by negating the need to hire freelancers, allowing us to focus on producing content swiftly. Overall, the platform stands out to me because of its user-friendly design, quick operation, and robust capacity for content production.

I would add more voices and life-like characters to personalize the videos

I use Synthesia to create and localize video content efficiently, eliminating the need for freelancers, accelerating production, and expanding our marketing efforts.
Works Well After Learning Curve, But Avatar Backgrounds Need Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
It works well after you get used to it. The avatar 2 features are nice but limited. Wish each avatar had at least 6 angles and 4 backgrounds and overall make it so we could have more options for scenario based conversations. Also the a.i. video clip generator is a great tool not heavily advertised
What do you dislike about the product?
The backgrounds for the avatars 2 don't match so it makes it slightly strange when the avatars are talking to each other. Or the angles don't all match. They are limited.

We are teaching scenarios in real life and having these realistic videos to set the example
Excellent Voice Sync, But Processing Times Are Too Long
What do you like best about the product?
The dubbing of the voices narrative with the mouth movement of the avatar is excellent
What do you dislike about the product?
It seems that so many people are using this platform that the processing wait time has ballooned in the past two months. This past Saturday afternoon, I had to wait 203 minutes for a 1 minute video to process.

I needed some "announcements" for new websites Ive been working on.
Easy Voice Switching and Editing, But Avatar Preview Could Be Smoother
What do you like best about the product?
You can easily switch between voices and make edits after it's created.
What do you dislike about the product?
You have to generate before you can see the movement of the Avatars.

Taking days to create a video because I have to redo my voice and make edits.

The platform’s streamlined interface made the learning curve almost nonexistent, allowing me to focus on creativity rather than technical setup. It was refreshing to experience a tool that combined professional-level functionality with such effortless accessibility, truly a pleasure to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
While reviewing and refining written copy within the platform can occasionally be a bit cumbersome, this limitation is balanced by the strength of the video generation process itself. The initial “seed” the foundation from which each video is created, consistently produces high-quality results that make the overall experience worthwhile. In many ways, the creativity and polish of the generated videos more than compensate for the minor frustrations of text review.

I needed to develop a series of videos as a key component of my go-to-market strategy, aimed at effectively communicating our value proposition and engaging target audiences across multiple channels.
