Easy Interface & Flexibility
What do you like best about the product?
you can take your office phone wherever you go!
What do you dislike about the product?
It was somewhat difficult to figure out the voicemail setup at first
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I never miss a work call. I can be traveling, out a client, or even away from my computer and I’m always connected thanks to the application on both my computer and my cell phone

Having it tied to your cell phone is key
Ring central serves it's purpose
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the app can be downloaded on any device.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike when meeting invites do not show accepted or do not pop up on calendars consistently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to hold meetings with Ring Central the same as I would with Lync.

Works for those who have the software, but not for those who don't (i.e. our clients)

provides option to use phone or computer audio and/or video

Our clients can never get into our meetings. Last 2 presentations delayed by 20 minutes each due to "technical problems"

Trying to use for sales presentations/demo's to clients

For internal use this is fine, but if you want to use with clients, look elsewhere.

allows me to call from my computer with different phone numbers, and integrates with SalesForce to track activity

sometimes has connection issues with the servers, and also occasionally has issues logging calls to salesforce

It is a little complicated and the quality of calls can be poor

Central platform for all tech needs in the company

What do you like best about the product?
You can easily add people to meetings and manage the conferences, such as all the conference systems. It can be connected to Outlook and sends all the invitations automatically. It is also connected to the phone number of the company allowing easy communication between colleagues and customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Usually customers that don't have Ringcentral have problems opening it. A program must me quickly installed and sometimes the system does not work properly. Then takes time to set up the camera and microphone. This way I lost valuable time to talk to prospects and the conversation starts very bad.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am connecting with customers worldwide, but the system is giving me more problems than solving them. There are other tools easier to use with the same features. Around 50% of the times that I try to connect with anyone, they present problems at the moment of installing the software to join the conference. This made me lose valuable time and the meetings don't finish properly as I have to speed up with my speech. This is unacceptable for a system that pretends to have strong presence in the industry.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I don't recommend RingCentral as there are better options in the market. Ringcentral constantly gives me problem with prospects and customers at the moment of starting a conference. It does not offer something special compared with the competition, so if it would be my decision, I would not take Ringcentral for my company.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can connect my business line to my cell phone line, which can be very helpful when I'm out of office and receive and important phone call.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, the phone lines disconnect or reboot. It can be annoying when i'm expecting a call.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
a huge benefit again is that i can get business calls sent to my cellphone.

almost too many options and can get really complicated with some of the more complex services they offer

What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that I don’t need to give up my cell phone number, I also enjoy the fact that I can dial from my computer with the integration to HubSpot

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Biggest problem that I’ve realized is when using an iPhone often times it doesn’t register that I’m picking up the ring central and it keeps on repeating click one click one click one to connect so that is the downfall that is the biggest issue I run into

The ability to answer from an iPhone with a simpler method and then what iPhone allows

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Ring Central is the fact that I can fax from it without having to use an actual fax machine. Some courts require all documents to be sent via fax and not emailed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that I don't ever have time or the memory to go back and check to see if it was received.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
RingCentral Fax is nice to have because I would not have a clue as to how to hook up the fax machine on my printer-scanner.
