Customer Friendly and Easy to Use

  • January 17, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
There are so many things that I like about this product. You can call, chat, fax and do so much more all from one spot. The sound from the headsets work excellent and I have yet to deal with any technical issues. This is a great, inexpensive way to get faxes delivered right to your phone/tablet/desktop.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I really dislike about this product. It has been very user friendly and allows for many branches of choices in so many ways. It's less expensive than Metrofax, but not as reliable. Half the time a sent fax doesn't go through.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This product has solved issues with customer service respect, and ensuring members are using it properly. It has been easy to transfer folks and get them where they need to go. Have had no down time over past 2 years, and almost none the 3 year before that. We run heavy outbound calling 10 hours per day. Have moved phones to different locations with various routers and works everywhere.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I love that RingCentral is constantly upgrading its apps to make the service more useful and reliable. It works like just about any other program, but some things are not intuitive
and/or lacks expected features.

Good Fax Service

  • January 08, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that you can fax things fairly quickly - it's easy to use in email format (example: 2734469999@rcfax.com) You simply type the fax number, and follow it with the @rcfax.com. Attachments send really quick, and it's not difficult to get the hang of. Our company has used this for multiple years, and plan on continuing to use it. You are able to integrate the fax with phone features, and install company phones linked to the same service. That is a really unique perk - RingCentral has a very competitive group pricing plan that varies based on how many users will be involved in the service.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing honestly. The service is good !!! Only thing I would change is the ability to view your faxes in a separate app. Once the fax is sent it is out of your hands. You can't go back and see which attachments you sent, unfortunately. If the company were able to launch their own app where you can review the faxes after sending them I would be much more inclined to invite others to use it. Regardless, it is a good service and my company still utilizes it as opposed to the competition.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been using it to streamline the way I communicate with customers. I've realized that it's important to fax all of your customers - same with email, and phone communication. I've liked the service.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use it for a year, and if it doesn't work try for something else!

    Education Management

Simple to use, effective web meetings tool

  • January 08, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
as I noted in the title, the RingCentral Meetings is fairly easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently, the platform only allows for four participants unless an add-on is purchased.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to meet with clients in remote parts of the state. The online meetings allow for collaboration with those hard to get to locations.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make some of the advanced options part of the basic option. Also, allow call-in participants to not count towards the total participants.

Good VOIP system

  • January 06, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Call recoding, glip messaging system. Easy to set up conference bridge/call
What do you dislike about the product?
For conference calls, there are multiple codes a participant has to enter which creates some confusion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to use different tools for conference calls so this is great to do it all in one place.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Screen share and collaboration.

Easy solution for old form of communication

  • December 21, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The confirmation that my fax was delivered. After each one I sent, it was great knowing I would get an email confirming everything went through smoothly so I could follow up with the receiver.
What do you dislike about the product?
While it was minimal, once in a while the fax would not go through when using their email function to send it. I then would have to go to their website and attach the files and send a fax through their platform. Not the biggest deal in the world but it was nice and simple when the email function would work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to send faxes without having to use an old fax machine.

    Public Policy

It Does the Job

  • December 21, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
For mass meetings, giving access to outside vendors, and even for hiring and interviewing possible job candidates RingCentral does the trick. Allowing others to simply download the program quickly from the browser link truly makes RingCentral good for any business.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that it automatically sends you to your desktop email. I do not use my desktop email and if the link for the scheduled call was available simply to copy and paste over into other programs, documents, or to calendar invites the process of scheduling calls would be much easier. Having to wait until it opens up in the email to then copy it out of another program is just another unecessary step.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working in a remote environment RingCentral allows professionals across the country to call-in to the open video line and connect. Also the share-screen feature allows the host and administrator to give presentations through an online program.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I haven't seen any updates to this product since using it initially. Also look at UberConferencing for calls instead of RingCentral but use RingCentral for your video interfacing.
