Nice Meeting app to go with Softphone
What do you like best about the product?
Quick and easy setup of events plus google calendar integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too many window pop-outs. Would like a better dash/control panel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We utilized another meeting app that was more expensive than adding Meetings to our Ring Central phone account. It also lets us reach larger audiences than free versions.
Better than Go To Meeting but not by much
What do you like best about the product?
Integration with Microsoft Office (desktop) makes creating meetings pretty seamless. Most times the invitees don't have to install anything to join the web meeting but this seems inconsistent as other times people have told me they do have to install something to view our meeting which can be a hassle with some companies that don't allow installation of software. For the most part calls don't get dropped and they don't have outages.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support is pretty poor when there are issues it takes awhile to get a response
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Video and web meeting conferences for online demonstrations of our software
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give others a try as well, such as join.me, etc.
Excellent VOIP phone
What do you like best about the product?
This application works as advertised. Company directory, calls forward to my cell when I'm away from my desk, works great with my wireless headset, and I can fax.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be inconsistently difficult to navigate the call log.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our small business was looking for a reasonably priced, easy-to-use VOIP phone option for a remote workforce.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
RingCentral is a great all-in-one solution. In fact, it does way more than we need it to.
Simple cloud-based communications software
What do you like best about the product?
I like that RingCentral is utilized through my laptop, via my cell phone, and translated into voicemails via email and more. When I received a call on my laptop, the navigation through RingCentral made it easy to transfer calls, create a conference call, and track the numbers I received calls from.
What do you dislike about the product?
Missed calls are not registered on the soft phone in a timely manner. If I have a missed call, the soft phone may not show it for a few minutes or for a few hours. Their is no app for Windows 10 mobile and no app for Windows 10.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
RingCentral integrated with the Zoho CRM and allowed me to make calls through the CRM, logging my calls and providing the opportunity to document what the call was for and more.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The softphone app can be installed on multiple computers allowing you to have, for example, one copy installed on your desktop and one copy installed on your laptop. This means that I can leave my desk and take my laptop with me and still be able to answer my phone. The softphone integrates with Outlook, so I don't have to duplicate all my contacts into another piece of software.
Many Services all in one
What do you like best about the product?
RingCentral makes our small home office sound like a large corporation, and that is just one of the reasons we went with it after researching options. I can fax from my cell phone, Office App or website and I can send mass text messages.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a lot to learn, but it is worth it. It is a very intensive system but it is personalized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have solved having many offices in many locations, many home offices, but we sound like a big corporation whenever a client or potential candidate calls in. We have also utilized RingCentral Meetings, conference calls, texting and faxing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be prepared to learn but it is worth the effort.
Ring Central Works Well
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of setup. Great customer support. Good level of customization, online tools, and resources. Video conference tool is easy to use. Apps intergrate well in iOS and Andriod making system very easy to access from anywhere. Glyp tool is really easy and go for quick connection with in an organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far there has been nothing I dislike. Minor issue with contract and start dates that was rectified relatively quickly. Numrous calls hit system before number was published but were spam.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
VOIP phones and video conferencing tool.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do your research. Quality product at fair price.
Not spectacular for large teams
What do you like best about the product?
The application is organized and polished with a clean layout and easy access to voicemail, call logs and more. It looks familiar since it’s built to the size and shape of a cellphone.
What do you dislike about the product?
No integration whatsoever with Salesforce to track calls like Outreach. No way to join two lines and drop out as warm transfer is not actually a warm transfer, which is awkward for sales transfers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Just a backup in case Outreach is broken. Previously, it was our main dialing system.
Hard to get support
What do you like best about the product?
It's really easy to use, connects with SFDC well.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no easy way to set up automatic call recording
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for our main office phone lines

Good virtual meeting software but not without it's flaws
What do you like best about the product?
I can share my screen to multiple meeting attendees at a time. It seems to work fine most of the time for this purpose.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes clients experience difficulties with setup, it might be related to their environment, but nonetheless it's frustrating.

We need to give virtual demonstrations of our product to potential customers. RingCentral meetings lets us do this with ease.
