What do you like best about the product?
Honestly, the meetings and the phone services are really good. Both the desktop and mobile apps work as advertised.
What do you dislike about the product?
The settings can be a bit confusing, but their chat support is on point. For instance, if you chat with a support rep, after they verify you are you, tell them " I want my desk phone to ring, then my mobile app, then my desktop app" they will do it for you.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We recently replaced our entire phone system with RingCentral phones and the RingCentral Meetings app. Cloud based IP and web connecting apps are all up to date and run as they should.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Yes, I'd say this was worth it
Ring Meetings!

I love the plugin for outlook makes my life easier scheduling meetings with all the info.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really to dislike, if you like zoom it is just white label for Ring. So nothing to dislike here
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Able to quickly spin up meetings for people to join into to screen share, use audio, or remote control someones PC.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need a solution to host your meetings remortly and anywhere in the world. This is a good tool.
Great tool !
What do you like best about the product?
RingCentral integrates with our Salesforce instance, and allows for calls / SMS messages to be on a single line
What do you dislike about the product?
porting numbers over is tedious and the agents aren't able to give a timeline other than "5-15 days". unable to batch out numbers to be activated on the same day. customer service is pretty soso, so be prepped to do it yourself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
logging calls

What do you dislike about the product?
RingCentral is missing some of the major features other software offers

BOMB.COM
What do you like best about the product?
I love that it comes to our email and we can keep an "electronic paper trail" of what faxes are sent okay so that there's not an opportunity to lose paperwork
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes we can't access all the app features via mobile.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
all faxes come to our email directly
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely the way to go if you want an electronic paper trail and instant notifications of fail or success
its fine but can do better
What do you like best about the product?
that it's very easy to use and that we can share our screen in just a click.
What do you dislike about the product?
that when we screen share the other person or the person I have a meeting with has delays. I don't know if it's RC or my internet connection but it's disappointing we can't do a proper screen share.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it loads not most of the time but some times. and that if the screen share can be less buggy.
Educational Support with Ring Central
What do you like best about the product?
I like that we can switch control between users. There are times that I need to see our programmer's page to see what pathway they are using or a sample of work within another computer program that I normally wouldn't be able to see. I can also jump in and share my screen when needed. I feel it is even easier than working together in person since we can talk and show screens at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when switching between users as the host in sharing a screen, it will "freeze" or not allow you to continue smoothly between the transitions. I have had times that whoever logs in to the call first has the most success with sharing their screen, but they may not necessarily be the facilitator to the meeting, so there should be a better transition.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem we are solving is having people all of the country need to come together for a meeting. We need to be able to see, hear, and share screens without having to come together in person. A problem we are solving is that the visual screen share option is incredibly helpful compared to strictly a phone conference. I can show files/examples of what I need and I know we are looking at the same information. Another benefit is being able to have multiple people on the line.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try to have whomever you want to lead the meeting be the first person to log in. They seem to have the most fluid control.
Great tool for meetings and recording the meetings
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the conference and dial in number do not change. Once you are assigned a number, it is yours to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is a good tool, I haven't found anything I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration with vendors, business users and internal team members.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great tool to use. The calls are very clear and you can easily record a meeting to share with others.
Fantastic Phone service
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I am not tied to my desk to get phone calls. I have used other VOIP solutions and their mobile app has far more features than any of the ones I have used. The only reason I use my desk phone is because I have a great headset for it, but now that I have a great headset for my iPhone, I may start using it more. The other main feature is the ability to text from my office line. I have lost at least one customer who tried texting my other provider and then was upset that I had ignored their texts. That never happens anymore. It also allows me to separate personal texting from business texting which makes it far easier for me to keep track of who I am currently texting with.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue I had was with the initial setup. They wouldn't change my outgoing caller ID to my phone number until my phone numbers had been ported over, which took about a week.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I now have the ability to effectively track all of my business communications for all of my clients. I'm in the process of having a system setup that will allow me to get reporting for time spent on the phone and texting with my clients.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't expect the outgoing caller ID to be in place until the phones are migrated over to RingCentral. Once there, everything works as expected
Meetings are made easier!!
What do you like best about the product?
We have incorporated ring central with outlook for our scrum meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
Changing from the regular outlook meetings to ring central could be a bit overwhelming at the beginning. Specially, if you are not very familiar with the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Security issues on meetings were resolved by switching to Ring Central.
