Too Bulky

What do you like best about the product?
I like the Glip application features. It is nice to be able to send internal and external messages from one app. The meetings are pretty good as well, I like the ability to take control of one's screen.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that it does not have traditional PBX functions such as ring groups(hunt groups) and that there are too many apps. There is Glip, Meetings, RC for Google, and RingCentral Phone. Can we get one streamlined app? The sales teams are extremely pushy and aggressive, to the point that it is almost excessive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I do like the Glip app a lot. You can set up "teams" or groups for messages, set tasks, etc. This has solved the problem of being able to really control meetings.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do your research, ask questions and make sure that they will show all the features or lack thereof. The demos are great, but if you need a desk phone, or want a desk phone, the solution is clunky and they cannot portray that over the demo.

What do you like best about the product?
This is extremely helpful when making work calls, and even more importantly when I have to make business calls over seas.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that is constantly signs me out and makes me relog in every single time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using ring central I am ablt to quickly and effeciently make business calls, call over seas, send texts if needed, among many other great things.

What do you like best about the product?
Ring Central Meetings is extremely easy to use and has a join from browser option that works with external clients
What do you dislike about the product?
There are too many places where you control your settings for meetings, the RC meetings app and the online portal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are holding client meetings, interviews and such with Ring Central Meetings. The benefits have been great, this is a good product.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
RingCentral meetings is a great conferencing tool.

Ring Central is a customer service disaster

What do you like best about the product?
When it works, it works pretty well. They have lots of features when they work. Heaven help you if you have a problem, however.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ring Central does very little to support their customers. You'll run a gauntlet of hidden charges, careless account managers, and people who barely English. They had the gall to try to charge my credit card for another year of "service" after I cancelled the account and ported my numbers out to Grasshopper.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When you call in for help, they give you the runaround, shift you from one person to another, and no one can help, but always the other guy can. They tell you the price will be one thing, but it's always higher. Did I mention that they charged my card AFTER I DISCONTINUED SERVICE?

Avoid vigorously.

I like most the ability to use the platform on a mobile device in addition to hardwiring

The application is very glitchy and does not sync well.

We use it as our phone system for our entire office.

Easy to use. Ring Central connection is clear and easy to interaction between users.

You need the original e-mail or saved calendar request to sign in. It's not bad.

Communicating with other owners across the country. We can meet more often for a shorter amount of time on a specific topic.

What do you like best about the product?
It integrates with Salesforce and that adds a lot of value for my sales users.Support is very good
What do you dislike about the product?
You cant have 2 meeting simultaneously.
sometimes it's difficult for users to find out where the window to chat went once they start sharing their screen.
If the Customer doesn't use this tool, they have to install it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All that I can think of, Calling internal and external parties, Having activities logged into salesforce. having immediate communications with internal teams. easy to create setup meetings

Go for it, Support is extremely responsive. Ringcentral meeting app is a definite go for internal teams. increases collaboration, efficiency of internal team

Cost Effective, mobile friendly and intuitive

What do you like best about the product?
I like that the RingCentral Phone and Meeting is now combined and now available as Glip or RingCentral.
All in one app for everything you need for video calling/conferencing, calls, faxing, accessing contacts, setting up meetings/recordings and direct messaging.

I also like the outlook plug-in that helps us to attach Ring Central meetings while setting up appointments like Skype.

Call Flip and forwarded phones ring Simultaneously or Sequentially is something which I like personally so that you can use more than one device to receive calls or stay connected during urgent project deliveries/deployments.

When some external no calls you, you can see the registered name, caller id automatically which I think is very cool.We can also use more than one caller id when calling someone from RingCentral.
(Admin can restrict the company caller ids, but we can select the one we would like to use in the App.)

We are also using HD Videoconferencing using RingCentral Rooms. RC Rooms allows you to start, join and manage conferences using an iPad controller, camera and speakers.

Annotation options that I use during screen share are larger than any other similar tools including Skype.
Recording feature allow either audio/video or both.
Integration options with JIRA/One Drive/Marketo/Salesforce.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the calender from outlook does not show or sync up meetings if they are Recurring ones.
We also tried reaching customer service they were not sure if it was because they recently (less than 2 weeks) migrated RingCentral Phone & Meeting to RingCentral.

RingCentral have issues with the analog faxing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Add more than 100 users without any significant quality issue with audio or video.
Centralized team meetings, conferences, screen shares, calling, accessing contacts, direct messaging, texting etc.
Schedule meetings from outlook.
Call forwarding and handling from phone/cell phones.
Access your Outlook or Google Calender, also your Team's events.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Glip is one stop for all call, meeting, screen share, HD video/audio conferencing, messaging tool.
Outlook plugin for RingCentral really makes life easier for traditional users to set up meetings.
