Ring central is effective for making calls and sending faxes.
What do you like best about the product?
I like how quickly it is to make send faxes with ring central. I never really used a fax machine until now and I now I use it all the time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I love the piano ringtone but I wish there were more to choose from! It might make the day less mundane!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like how easy and quickly you can move between calls. Effective for making 80-100 calls in a day.
Soft phone that needs to be optimized
What do you like best about the product?
It allows you to dial through the computer, easy to use. Receive and send fax, also text.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lags, slow, sometimes it freezes, goes in and out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Don’t need a hard phone, dual through the computer.
A fantastic fix to our phone system problems
What do you like best about the product?
RingCentral is easy to use and easy to access. This has totally changed our internal communications.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've been using RingCentral for two weeks now and have no complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Internal communications, document and audio sharing, conference calls.
Adequate but old tech
What do you like best about the product?
Ring central is an ok option for internet fax. The software fills a need that regrettably still exists in modern business.
What do you dislike about the product?
It leveraged old tech. Although it does so in a modern way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ring central allows us to send and receive faxes without a dedicated landline and fax machine. It’s cheaper and more convenient than a traditional machine but I shouldn’t have to use this old technology at all.

What do you like best about the product?
The call quality is great. Internal look up is helpful for finding extensions, etc. I copy and paste phone numbers into the dial pad all day.
What do you dislike about the product?
There used to be a delay, but I haven't had it happen in several years.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have cut our other conferencing service and use RingCentral for all internal calls.
It's fast and efficient
What do you like best about the product?
The start meeting now button. I detest other services where I have to wait for the host to start the meeting (so I get the god awful waiting on hold music -- looking at you UberConference). Being able to start the meeting now ensures I'm in the right meeting when I'm telecommuting and/or the host hasn't arrived yet.
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting setup. At least at my office, we had to install 4 different products. You don't simply get a download code, you have to be guided through which made it initially difficult when not everyone attended the training and therefore, not everyone had RingCentral access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The "who's on first" meeting issue. Do you have the right access code? Did you call in or use computer? Not that meeting ID, this one, with this access code. Etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Setup is laborious, but once you're in, it's remarkably easy to use.
RINGCENTRAL FOR ANY SIZE BUSINESS
What do you like best about the product?
They are constantly updating their software adding new features for free. In a space where software companies are constantly charging for add-on features, it's a pleasure to do business with a company that does not nickel and dime customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not a deal breaker, but their customer service is hit or miss. Other than that, there is not too much to complain about.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've replaced my desktop phone with the RC softphone. They also have a wonderful mobile app that works most of the time. RC allows us to be mobile and answer calls remotely.

Works When It Wants To
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it's easy for anyone to project or take over to share their screen. We have a lot of remote team members across the United States and in Uruguay so it's nice we have a place we can all have a meeting.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have a lot of issues of dial-ins not working or malfunctioning so meeting tend to start 10 minutes late just trying to get the software or dial-in to work properly. I would love it if we didn't have to spend extra time setting up and then trying to get everyone dialed-in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefits are the screen sharing capabilities and being able to meet with anyone all over the world. I would love to solve the dial-in and setup time issues we currently face in our organization with this software.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you give yourself plenty of time for setup just in case you run into malfunctions.
Easy to use!
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of being able to set up meetings with agents and clients near and far. The whole system works well together.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the quality of the calls are not the best. We are hardwired at the company, but I believe the issue is when some of our clients are not hardwired and using wireless, is when we have the biggest issues with call quality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to connect with people near and far at the drop of a hat. It really has taken our meetings and face-to-face meetings to a whole other level by not having to travel to meet clients.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It really brings your company to a whole other level, especially for a company that needs to contact people out of the area quickly and effectively.
