almost too many options and can get really complicated with some of the more complex services they offer

What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that I don’t need to give up my cell phone number, I also enjoy the fact that I can dial from my computer with the integration to HubSpot

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Biggest problem that I’ve realized is when using an iPhone often times it doesn’t register that I’m picking up the ring central and it keeps on repeating click one click one click one to connect so that is the downfall that is the biggest issue I run into
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The ability to answer from an iPhone with a simpler method and then what iPhone allows

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Ring Central is the fact that I can fax from it without having to use an actual fax machine. Some courts require all documents to be sent via fax and not emailed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that I don't ever have time or the memory to go back and check to see if it was received.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
RingCentral Fax is nice to have because I would not have a clue as to how to hook up the fax machine on my printer-scanner.

Can't ever connect properly. Can't automatically mute people - so meetings take 10 mins to get everyone to mute their phones.

What do you like best about the product?
Ring Central is my favorite app to utilize for our video meetings. We have a dozen conference calls on a weekly basis and half of them are video based. Ring Central is by far the best version of video meetings I've used. My favorite thing is the ease of recording and host switching. Even if video or feed is lost the entire meeting does not drop out. Ease of continuance makes my days easier. It is so user friendly, I never have any issues with my new recruits picking up how to use the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
I go in and out of a lot of very rural areas so my internet and cell service drops out very often. I do not like how sensitive the video feed is to the connection issues. I have had a lot if problems dropping out of meetings. On the bright side, it does automatically reconnect when I am back in service. I know there is very little that can be done to prevent this, however it is still a difficulty that I am facing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
An unlimited amount of users. We can have a meeting with 3 people together and we can have a meeting with 100 people together. This is very helpful for the variety of conference calls and meetings that we have. There is no issue with Ring Central being available on multiple platforms. Whether someone is apple, android, PC or mac; there is no issue with them downloading the app or software and getting on the call.

So far, there is nothing that I dislike about it.

Not a bad meeting product

What do you like best about the product?
Really nice to be able to annotate on the screen, easy interface to get going and find what you're looking for with the UI. Screen sharing is easy for everyone that's on the call.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool isn't as widely used as the competitors. You'll find attendees coming in to the tool late having to download a package to install for the first time or you'll see that some companies don't approve this meeting vendor and it will be firewalled off.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meetings to show demonstrations of our companies software. Webinars, internal meeting, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Works decent, might not be an industry standard yet tho.

Simple faxing

What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can save fax numbers in the address book to make regular faxes faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like the interface of the site, the fax icon is very small.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefits I have are that I get notified when a fax comes in/out via email, and that I can fax from my email.

This is a good product for the price.

They false advertise what they sell

What do you like best about the product?
They false advertise what their service can do. Essentially every call comes in on two lines and if someone is alone and is on the phone when a second call comes in, the person has to go to a different phone to answer the second incoming call, they can’t put the first call on hold, and answer the second call on the phone they are using. If someone is working remotely, they do not have any idea that a second call is coming in and can’t answer it even if they wanted to!! So we have 3 months left in our contract. I admit to being stupid and not doing a month to month agreement. Shame on me. We asked, politely to be released from our contract a few months early since they could not deliver the services as promised. We have found a service who can set the system up the way we require and, for the health of our business, wanted to switch to the new company.

We have found a service who can set the system up the way we require and, for the health of our business, wanted to switch to the new company. Nope they would have none of it. After almost an hour on the phone, speaking to 3 different rep, the final being “Vince”, all of whom would not listen to anything I was saying. There was absolutely no consideration of the fact that we had worked on trying to fix this numerous times to no avail. There was no consideration that I was a dissatisfied customer. All they could do was repeat that I had a contract and had to pay the three months remaining if I wanted to terminate the service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Was forced to sign a two year contract when I signed on. I made the decision with in the first year that I would leave Ring Central once my contract lapsed. So recently I found the time to sign up with Ooma, I signed up and had my number ported then notified RingCentral I was ending their service.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It was my problem not theirs. I was told I should have terminated the service within 30 days of signing up if I wanted no penalties. We were still working on trying to get it to work the making the system work!! Their script-based responses are insulting. They had many, many ways of saying no, we don’t care that we couldn’t provide you the service you are paying for, we want your money and that is all we want. Their approach was condescending and inconsiderate. Live and learn!
