Why I would suggest D2L
What do you like best about the product?
I love everything! I use it everyday for college, it's not a very hard website to get around, everything is right there in front of you! Especially making finding grades, links not just on your laptop or desktop but on your phone as well!
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the only thing I dislike is that there isn't anywhere to help you find stuff if you don't know the app as well as someone who uses it well would.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
From moving to D2L from google classroom it's benefits me so much better, being able to take tests inside the website, PowerPoints, easy to get files, and it's compatible with not only google laptops but Mac's as well

What do you like best about the product?
D2L is changing the way our learners engage with freshmen level courses that lead to college credit. We are seeing lots of sign ups and engagement.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is so much to learn and understand to make the biggest impact for our end user - the learners.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
D2L allows our program to scale.
Brightspace changed the way we interact with our students.

Easy implementation, various features, support.

Ease of generating Page reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Distance education, with the numerous resources that D2L offers, has shortened the distance between student and teacher.
D2L provides us innovation, personalized learning and competent and available support.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the design, the customization options, and the variety of resources and activities.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t like how the forum is organized. It could be simpler both in terms of creation and in how to respond.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The LMS that the institution was using no longer met our needs, especially regarding the organization of resources and activities in the virtual space and the extraction of reports, which are essential for managing the teaching and learning process.

What do you like best about the product?
Help me to guide me in the course, the progress in the module, and the content. The configuration of the different elements in the panel is good.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the way the notice is displayed, and the kerning in the interface; the line height is wrong. The structure for the debates, to read and see the comments, is very difficult.

Resolve the tracking data regarding the students' progress and the review of the course content.
Plataforma atractiva e intuitiva
What do you like best about the product?
D2L Brightspace es una plataforma intuitiva y atractiva para el profesorado y el alumnado.
Una de las ventajas de la plataforma, es su personalización, esto ha permitido que nuestro Campus tenga una visual acorde a la imagen corporativa del centro. Por otro lado, el docente dispone de un amplio abanico de posibilidades a la hora de crear elementos de calificación para el alumnado (rúbricas, cuestionarios...). Además, gracias a los canales de comunicación, se puede establecer una comunicación constante entre docente-alumno, esto es ideal para nuestros estudiantes de modalidad online.
Todo esto, hace que el aprendizaje sea flexible y personalizado.

A la hora de necesitar/solicitar alguna función dentro de la propia plataforma, debemos esperar a que el resto de organizaciones también lo lleguen a solicitar para que pueda valorarse y/o aplicarse.

Nos ayuda a tener un espacio que permite un sistema de evaluación y comunicación con el alumnado tanto en modalidad presencial, como online.

Las principales ventajas son que es una Interfaz Intuitiva y bastente personalizable, ofrece una interfaz moderna y amigable para el usuario, que facilita la navegación tanto para estudiantes como para profesores.
Brightspace permite configurar diversos tipos de evaluaciones, como cuestionarios, trabajos, debates y evaluaciones por rúbricas. Los docentes tienen control sobre la personalización de los criterios de evaluación y la forma de calificar, lo cual es ideal para adaptarse a distintas metodologías.
Tienes acceso a todos los datos para poder hacer informes.

Que a la hora de sacar los informes en centro de datos, no puedes realizar alguns fitros, sin necesidad de sacar todos los datos, por ejemplo, por usuario, por OU etc, solo permite filtro por fecha.

La herramienta de passar llista de asistencia, poco interactiva, ya abrimos una sugerencia hace mas de 1 año, sin tener noticia alguna.
Novas funcionalidades e novas possibilidades associadas a maior autonomia.

O D2L Brighspace me possibilitou maior autonomia na execução das tarefas diárias bem como superou minhas expectivas em relação à utilização das funcionalidades.

Um dos aspectos que considero mais complicado na utilização do D2L diz respeito ao backup e a forma de criação de um espaço de discussão.

A D2L Brighspace permitiu uma maior autonomia na organização das unidades curriculares, facilitou a interação entre alunos e professores com a possibilidade da gravação de vídeos e áudios na própria plataforma.Utilizamos também o Brightspace para que o setor de Comunicação possa fazer anúncios institucionais. Sem contar a facilidade de poder remodelar a estrutura organizacional de acordo com as demandas sem prejuízo de perder conteúdo.
