If you wish to cancel your Services, D2L will offer you a complete refund when you cancel your Services within 48 hours after payment in the AWS Marketplace (the "Refund Period"). Thereafter, D2L does not offer refunds. To cancel your service and request a refund, you must contact AWS Marketplace customer support. Except as otherwise explicitly indicated by D2L, all fees hereunder are non-cancelable and non-refundable.

What do you like best about the product?
It has a low learning curve for both admins and end users. There are many features that, when enabled, let instructors tailor courses and curriculum to fit their specific needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s very user-friendly in academic environments. However, when I was a system admin, it didn’t feel set up for use by corporate entities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provided an excellent way to deliver online courses to students, with flexible options that allowed the course to fit the needs of the instructor, the students, and the course content.

What do you like best about the product?
D2L Brightspace is a powerful LMS that has evolved into an easy to use and engaging tool for educators to provide online learning experiences for students in k-12. I have been involved with D2L for almost 20 years. I love the advancements in audio and vidoe tools which are game changers and am excited to explore Lumi.
What do you dislike about the product?
D2L is almost too comprehensive. It has so many tools and great features that it can seem overwhelming to new users. The integrations with Respondus, Wayground and Canva are sometimes glitch and should be refined. D2L is rarely down and is quickly repaired. AI tools look a bit rough so far but are exciting. Finding the best ways to get support can be challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
D2L gives our students and teachers a common tool across our province for online learning. It is provided by our province. D2L should ensure pricing continues to be reasonable so we can continue to provide this to our students.

What do you like best about the product?
I find D2L Brightspace incredibly valuable for its wide range of features and the level of customization it offers. It serves as a comprehensive all-in-one course platform, allowing for assignment submissions, quizzes, and interactive student experiences, which are key to improving the overall student experience. The platform's commitment to accessibility and continuous improvement, along with its clean visual design, really stands out to me. I appreciate the depth of features, especially within quizzing and assignments, allowing for a lot of customization to suit our needs. The ability to assign specific deadlines and access periods to students or groups is great, and it easily facilitates accommodations for students. Furthermore, the integration with our website for seamless user login and automatic course enrollment works really well now, streamlining our processes. The initial setup was easy, thanks to the support from a dedicated customer service rep who guided us through everything.
What do you dislike about the product?
With the amount of features and the level of customization it can produce comes a pretty good learning curve, there are nuances and quirks to understand. I would say that it is more complex than our previous learning management system, although that complexity ends up being a good thing for the quality of the final product that you can produce.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find D2L Brightspace helpful as an all-in-one course platform with extensive features for assignment submissions, quizzes, and interactive student experiences, enhancing student experience and offering customization that meets our educational needs. I can tell my coworkers to "dream big" in terms of what we want to offer our students and also what insights we want to provide to our educational partners. I love the ways that I can segment students and customize their course content and path, allowing me to use one course shell for multiple variations on a single course. I also love how I can use intelligent agents to automate communication with users that meet certain conditions.
