College Software Platform
What do you like best about the product?
I like that this software lays out all of the coursework in an easy to use system that allows me to see things such as my syllabus, my work for the week, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that some things you may not needs as often can’t be found as quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have not had any problems except for when the site was down for maintenance. It is beneficial as it is easy to use and user friendly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This was definitely an easy software for me to use as a college student!
Easy accessible
What do you like best about the product?
I like the features of the ability to adjust and create your page in the course according to your liking. Also the integration of Zoom in the schedules, helps instructors to have the schedule updated without any copy error or other issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
When a sub-content is created in a content of the course, there is no way to readjust it to become a content or move to other content. In case you made a mistake, you have to delete the sub-content and create it again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Brightspace used by my school helps to organize the course easily for instructors and students. The communication is better with the centralized documents, discussion section where everyone can see it at a one-stop platform.
Decent Online Classroom Management
What do you like best about the product?
I like the customizability. I can make my classroom however I woud like and each class can be different. Grade input is pretty easy as well. The layout is aesthetically pleasing and it's also great that my students can get the app that goes along with it.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are glitches that you'd think would be fixed by now. For example, as a fellow who is taking classes and teaching, I get notifications that my own assignments (as in the ones that I have assigned to my students) are due, and they override/crowd my notification bell to the point that I don't see the notifications for my own classes that I'm in. After talking with our tech rep, it sounds like there is no solution, which seems unreasonable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love that my students can use the app. It makes discussion posts for them more accessible which I really appreciate (more are submitting discussions and comments on time).
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great educational asset. I'd recommend using it from a faculty and student perspective alike.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This software is cumbersome, complicated, unintuitive, frustrating, unreliable, and just a pain to use. Faculty user acceptance is very low and few are able to get it to work for them without needing expert advice.
I provide D2L service help for professors as well as am a student user.
What do you like best about the product?
Content is easily organized and grades tracked.

Sometimes time stamps on whether students viewed an assignment are unreliable.

Communication in learning is sometimes difficult. D2L is a one stop shop where students can get all the information they need for their course.

D2L implements other programs well and is a great way to consolidate learning.
Great LMS easy to implement and use.
What do you like best about the product?
I love simple interface and user-friendliness. The topics of the forums and the discussion board are easy to create. Another nice benefit is the option to allow students to complete modules in sequence, instead of presenting the entire course simultaneously.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some key statistics are missing from test results reports, including KR-20/21 (reliability) and biserial points for the incorrect items. It is important in order for teachers and students to understand how accurate the test was, and how to analyze the individual test elements to enhance the questions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is our university principal learning management program. We use the D2L as our management system for information. It's a perfect way to connect with teachers in one unified location and share the course materials.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This platform is innovative, very intuitive for users, as long as I have used it and it has worked correctly, I definitely recommend its use.
Really easy interface for learning!
What do you like best about the product?
I like best that the calendar is integrated into the website. It is easy to download, and upload documents. It is also very easy to use and user-friendly. I like that all of the classes are separate but on the same interface and easy to switch between.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that sometimes there are glitches. I also feel that after I click on a calendar link it takes me too many "clicks" to return to the previous page I was just on. Also the exams/quizzes/questions are not easy to use and often have glitches when they are directly on the site.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Brightspace is a very easy way for me to organize my classwork. It stores a lot of information and allows collaboration of many people to display everything in an organized manner. The calendar is the best feature.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Good option for organizing students' classwork. Overall one of the best educational platforms I have used, however there are still some annoying features that need to be ironed out.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Brightspace's virtual learning site looks mordern and simplistic, it is very crucial for when I need to find something I'm looking for and not be overwhelmed by the amount of text on a page. I like to think that Brightspace also provides good student support: last week Brightspace came to our campus to ask for our feedback - this made me feel that the company that provides the service actually cares our experiences and want to make it better.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't particularly dislike Brightspace, it's just that because I can compare it with the old website I used for the past 2 years, I can tell if there are some features missing, or needs to be improved. For example, I only just found out that I could choose to be notified of any updates to my university email inside the settings, but I wish the notification was turned on by default, or if Brightspace could have let me know that the notification setting actually existed. It would have helped me so much earlier on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Brightspace has a very friendly user-interface, I can easily find out what I need to know on each unit's home page. The tutors also seem to be using it very well, it just seems to me that they are uploading lecture notes, documents, and announcements more often than they would have in the previous years.

What do you like best about the product?
With this tool I have access to share files and have no comparison in the LMS space. It offers me a user interface which receives valuable updates, and an ideal platform for browsing has been created. The export is excellent, it becomes easy and I can share information, plan and analyze the performance of the worker within the company. I can also have a learning management system as I can correct projects either by internet or mobile devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
It may diffuse me a little in relation to this function, the interface which is not so intuitive, it would be good to adjust and solve this function. Another aspect that I can point out and take into account the little information in other language. And as for the documentation it is usually a little scarce, it can be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it in our company as a learning management platform. This tool is great because it facilitates our organization to cooperate in its development and interact with great content in multiple media. Brightspace is efficient, it also provides us with a group of adptive tools to know the level of current knowledge that the employee possesses. It is ideal for our organization because it determines learning results monthly for our employees, depending on their position within the company.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is ideal for video conferences, allows simultaneous transmission of sources, and provides presenters with good quality material. It also offers a centralized session which reduces the cost of operations. Brightspace is excellent because it gives us an ideal designed device to increase confidence in our company.
It’s good for communicating homework information
What do you like best about the product?
It helps me hand in assignments on time, and I can review textbooks online easily. It's extremely helpful for studying and I can check it any time to see if i'm missing any information. My teachers can easily upload videos or links that help improve my understanding.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes some of the files uploaded are unable to launch. D2l often only works on some browsers such as chrome or safari.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me hand in assignments on time and upload my assignments to my teachers dropboxes. It is easy to use and gives me reminders about upcoming events or texts that I need to prepare for.

It's very good website that helps you learn and assists you in completing assignments thoroughly.
