Reliable video management but initial setup takes time.
What do you like best about the product?
1. Milestone XProtect has the ability to view life feeds from multiple buildings in real time.
2. Features like motion detection, facial recognition and automated alerts help us respond faster to incidents.
3. For authorised personal access we could setup roll based access for different teams.
4. Milestone's customer support team was very helpful when I personally connected with them for an issue with configuration of PTZ cameras.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. If you are running high resolution cameras, it required significant server and storage capacity which can lead to additional investment in infrastructure.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Despite the initial challenges XProtect's AI based alerts and smart search tools made it easier to detect any suspicious incident and any authorised access which has significantly improved our security.

What do you like best about the product?
Our team deployed Milestone XProject in a manufacturing facility to monitor production area, warehouses and office security. Milestone XProject is a scalable and high resolution video management system that could integrate with other existing security infrastructure. Once it is configured, it's dashboard made it easy for security personal to view multiple camera feeds, replay footage and access analytics very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
We faced a challenge with the camera network bandwidth optimisation. Milestone's customer support provided in-depth guidance on adjusting streaming settings to balance quality and usage, which resolved our issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
XProject has become a critical tool for our security team and IT department. This is improving our security operations day by day. Our team can check live feeds and review incidents from anywhere ensuring faster response time. While there is a initial learning curve, the long-term benefits out outweigh the set up process.
Very solid system, many options if you know how

Almost endless possibilities to set up exactly what you need. Very solid and nice layout in Smart Client.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cumbersome procedure to update to latest software. Layout in the management client can be difficult to navigate. Old layout.

stable 24/7 monitoring. Very few outages and problems.

xProtect is a fairly comprehensive tool with an easy learning curve for novices.

The impossibility of creating buildings with more than 4 sides on the smartmap as well as quite annoying latency.

An operation quite intuitive.

What do you like best about the product?
There are solutions available that range from small business needs to giant world-class systems all with the same general code base now. Ease of use whether basic end users or admin is commendable. Milestone is a big name in the industry and has the ability to integrate with many diverse solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Release cycle of new, particularly exiciting features, has slowed in recent years. Cost of ongoing support/maintenance could be considered hight for some end-users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Primary use case is for safety and security but we also have several operational and business use cases.

Z+ security with Milestone XProtect !
What do you like best about the product?
It is our number 1 paltform we look to meet our security configuration need in office. We required a simple to use tool that has advance real time live feeding in that milestone works best for us. It is very reliable and highly scalable if required to enhance the business.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be high in budget range for small business but feature wise its truley a good deal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Milestone XProtect is very advance in managing security standards in company for securing the office . It provides a all in one control system from one space which help reducing times and efforts and also helped us in scaling the setup when required.

2) Its dashboard is user friendly and i find no shortcoming while i work on it and setting up process was made easier by customer support which are well trained and qualified.
3) Our inventories and data room is secured because there is no feed problem .
4) Users can be added with different roles for assigning different level permissions.

There is nothing to complaint about from my point of view . I like to see better view on mobile , then it would be better .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Milestone Xproject solely manage our inventory of clothes and items for our client website . I find it comfortable to use with even high volume of security cams in our company. It also helps in tracking issues on site for better maintaining security standard which is very important.
