Best Open Architecture VMS System on the Market
What do you like best about the product?
Reliable, support always available and always helpful, supports just about nay camera. Has a great amount of options for basically any type of site or system required.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Monitoring, reporting aspect and mass config changes and firmware which are all taken care of by Boring Labs so perfect combination.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provide a solid , open VMS system for our customers.

Have not found any at this time with Xprtect. Have met all of our expectations.

It is one of the best VMS in the market
Interfacing the third party controller of Siemens Desigo CC
What do you like best about the product?
it can wildly to interface with other security camera, like Hikvision or DaHua manufacture, at the same time, it can work with building managament system of Siemens Deisgo CC system.
What do you dislike about the product?
not sure, it is not clearling pointing out what it can work with building management system, i try to find out how to work with BMS system, i waste a lot of time to find out one way for interfacing with BMS system
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it can be easy to integrate with the third party security cameras , a lot of funcations that u can choice, rather than network video recoder , the cost will be decrease.

Milestone XProtect is an open platform that allows for a wide variety of third-party integrations.

Milestone Xprotect's interface is complex for a non-technical user to use.

What do you like best about the product?
Milestone has one of, if not the best support infrastuctures in place. We've worked with other VMS vendors in the past and none can come close to providing the level of technical support they do. If you have an issue, they will not stop until it's resolved in a timely fashion.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has a higher price point than some other products but their service justifies this cost IMO.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are having an issue adopting a camera tha is in the supported list. We verified the device packs and firmware are correct/supported
