What do you like best about the product?
It is a full fledged MDM solutions and integrates with any other Software and device seamlessly and friendly admin dashboard
What do you dislike about the product?
It has many restrictions when it comes to managing laptops
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing end point user devices, tracking them, Managing end point data, deploying upgrades to software etc.

We used it for mobile phone management and it was very straight forward. I was able to pick it up quickly

Clearly defined tools, user interface and starter overlay
Easiest deployment compared to other product offerings

Policies are straight forward to create or you can use existing default policies and modify them.
IBM account managers offer a good level of support during implimentation, without extra costs
Licence pricing structure is easy to understand and reflects product features that are being deployed

What do you dislike about the product?
It may not be as comprehensive as other competitive product. However, it makes up for it by being probably the easiest to deploy and customise. Some competitor products, while offering extra tools, are a lot more complicated to deploy and customise, and their support is patchy.

Device and data security are the main issues to address, especially with mobile device.
The benfits are that users devices and data are protected to a higher level and enabled to be compliant with GDPR.

Having tried a number of data and device security platforms IBM Maas360 was the easiest to deploy, with a comprehisible licencing price structure and good support.
Convenience at its best.

I can view my email using my mobile phone anywhere.

It always asks me to always allow the app to use my location.

Daily email communication is efficient since it's on the go.

It's a great tool for employees who are on the go and does not have a laptop with them all the time.

- UI is friendly. Easy to understand compare with other MDM and from customer feed back.

- IBM MaaS360 need very stable internet to enrollment.
- Kiosk mode some time not stable user can exit from kiosk mode.
- Security policy not support all android device.
- Watson isn't useful.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
From customer case study. They provide tablet for sales team. But they have problem from 4G data plan is not enough because non-business use. So, They use IBM MaaS360 to config kiosk mode and allow only business application. They can save 4G data plan cost and make more productivity.

If you looking for multi platform MDM and easy to use I recommend IBM MaaS360.

your able to track/monitor/update/lock down each device, also to create users/devices per locations.
What do you dislike about the product?
was not able to full remove some apps from devices

problem solving our users from lost device can track them help greatly, where you can now lock a device from being used.
It was great experience working with IBM MaaS360 in terms of security.

The mobile device management was the best part of this tool .

Didn't find any such issues with this tool. Overall it was a good experience hence nothing is disliked.

It was an attempt to port a mobile application for security management and software distribution to windows, and options can be good for competition.
What do you dislike about the product?
Clunky, could not reliably distribute packages of .msi and sometimes even .exe. Admin portal is not admin-intuitive especially when relating to update distributions. Remote wipe never worked, and the assigned Mass IBM team to help remediate was either unenthusiastic or incompetent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was an attempt to integrate mobile and Windows management in one. It would have been useful if it worked.

Start over and build it for Windows, then integrate it for Mobile.
