Fantastic protection, easy to implement
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to setup - it took about 30 minutes

The DLP could be better, but that's minor
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Spam, phishing and malware detection, malware sandboxing based in the cloud, without email deliverability issues.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want an easy to use, Gsuite spam/phishing protection that is cloud based, you'd be hard pressed to find a better solution that Avanan.
Avanan is easy to deal with and the product just works.
What do you like best about the product?
We implemented Avanan slightly over a year ago; volumes of Spam and Phishing plummeted right off (from dozens per day); most of the time we get nothing; every couple of months we might get a rush of a couple of misses through which we raise with support and it dies away again.

It would be nice if it was perfect, but that is unrealistic.

It stops Spam & Phishing emails almost completely.

Outstanding Email Security Solution
What do you like best about the product?
Very friendly interface, customizable dashboards. rarely false positives, reliable.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no special feature I really dislike of this product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Avanan as the main email security layer. We keep our employees safe from phishing and scam emails.
Easy to integrate and operationally excellent
What do you like best about the product?
The dashboard gives me a very complete view of, not only my email security but all O365 content security, including basic DLP functions. Also, the amount of phishing that is stopped before it reaches users has greatly improved using Avanan.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the DLP functions over-report issues and have been difficult to filter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Primarily Avanan was put in place to reduce the risk of cybersecurity incidents caused by employee actions in file sharing, email, and other electronic interactions. We have reduced the number of phishing messages our users receive in their inbox. We are also verifying URLs in emails before sending users to sites, further increasing our assurance that clicked URLs will not cause malware or other issues to permeate our network.
Don't Let A Malicious Email Slip Through The Cracks!
What do you like best about the product?
AVANAN makes my life as a sole IT guy easier. The number of blocked emails has went up tremendously, and this equates to more time for me!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike about AVANAN is the fact it miss classifies items, sometimes. But this is actually preferred, as opposed to letting a malicious email slip through the cracks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Just too many spam emails coming my way!!!!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't let this one pass you by. The price is comparable to Microsoft ATP, but the service is top notch!
Effective protection that's easy to manage and explains its decisions
What do you like best about the product?
The best feature about Avanan is how clearly it explains why it believes phishing or malware emails are dangerous. Seeing the risk factors helps easily either explain to staff why we're blocking messages or gives us the background needed to release blocked messages to the users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all tuning options are exposed to customers. Some require working with Avanan to make changes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Microsoft's email protection isn't enough. Dangerous emails still get delivered to end users. Avanan helps us create a defense in depth by reviewing the messages allowed by Microsoft and blocks phishing and malware messages that would have otherwise created exposures.
Next generation cloud based email security
What do you like best about the product?
Informative, easy to navigate, and informationally dense dashboard, with easy to understand navigation and next steps.
What do you dislike about the product?
Site does not work well in Safari on macOS, otherwise it is good, no complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have gained insight into our entire email security platform, reporting from Microsoft 365 is aggregated with information from Avanan, in easy to understand, and easily presented reports. Locating users of Shadow IT products, and locating users who are at risk of compromise through failed logins from geographically unlikely locations is key as well.
CheckPoint CloudGaurd SaaS is very good solution for email security.
What do you like best about the product?
With the CloudGaurd we can filtered the malicious emails, fillters IPs to login into email account to O365 and also give the details if any activities related that.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much but yes sometimes its blocked or quarantine some legitimate emails as well

We can say we are secure on email threats

For secure O365 email, CloudGaurd SoftwareasService is very good solution

What do you like best about the product?
This stops 99% of all harmful emails. Phishing attempts, viruses and others.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only dislike is that the management console does not work and or does not work well in Google Chrome
