A powerful protection against attacks via mail
What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to set up and the AI it uses is very accurate. With the tool we have detected how many attacks we have against our users and the exposure we have and that we can now contain is impressive
What do you dislike about the product?
I really improve a lot with avanan. What could improve would be improvements on the DLP since it is currently not so configurable It would be good to add more options for countries, words, documents, etc. or an option of encryption of sensitive data
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It takes care of our backs, since many of the attackers try to deceive the user and the number of attempts on our users is too much and if any mail arrives in their trays with something malicious, the risk is great.
Intuitive Email Security Service
What do you like best about the product?
The Avanan team was incredibly helpful in giving us a tour of the product, setting it up with us, and demonstrating how it worked in our actual environment. Easy to set up and incredibly user friendly to interface with moving forward.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lots to learn about the system, but that's only because it's so comprehensive and powerful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Email security is much easier to use and more insightful than Microsoft Defender ATP.
Quick and Easy Deployment
What do you like best about the product?
Utilising Avanan has allowed us to look at security not only for our emails but along Teams and other collaboration suites. Included with the ability to detect anomalies of suspicious outbound emails and location services
What do you dislike about the product?
The google integration can be more seemless but given the limited use of google mail this is only a minor issue
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing better visibilities of the threats across our user collaboration tools allowing us to be more proactive to phishing attacks whilst not having to change any mx records

What do you like best about the product?
Every business, big or small, pays a lot of attention to business email security, as they contain sensitive information. As an E2E encrypted system with spam filters, Avanan offers the highest degree of security against cyber-attacks.
What do you dislike about the product?
For protecting our official mails from the different vulnerabilities correlated with phishing emails, this is the tool exactly that I've been trying to find for a long time. So, no dislikes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My inbox became less cluttered once I separated spam mails from regular mails and eventually deleted them. I get the greatest data security as my official mails hold multiple sensitive data, and any data leak can put us in trouble.
One of the best cloud based email security service.
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing I like about them is that they provide security services which are fully based on the API(Application Programming Interface). Their usefulness is based on brilliant and modern technology called AI(Artificial Intelligence), which is trained with extensive datasets. Because of that, it provides very accurate results.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't have a good customer support experience with them. Whenever I need assistance and for that when I called them - firstly they let the customers wait for a while. And after they pick-up the call, they don't have an exact reply or answer for the issue or problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They provide security for all the applications which will collaborate with them. This is the main problem which is solved by very few organisations only. By using this functionality, we are able to secure all our email accounts associated with different applications.
Perfect Solution for Email Security
What do you like best about the product?
It delivers powerful email protection against Anti Malware/Anti Spam and phishing attacks. We like its feature, which automatically detects malware mails , and spam and moves it to the junk folder. It's like handy and Easy to deploy with few single clicks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its managed setup and configuration for Email flow may be required some expertise. Email and Threat Protection policies need to improve further. Sometimes, emails with genuine Domains are also kept in quarantine, which needs improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have hassle-free configurations for our Email Security thanks to this Program. Malware Protection, Emails scanning, and Attachment scanning features are helping us with excellent results. And also it helps us with a detailed analysis of why particular emails/Attachments are stopped instead of delivered.
An email security product that finally integrates in a modern way
What do you like best about the product?
Almost instant integration Zero changes need on email chain Enterprise security no matter the location of the user. Integrates via modern APIs rather than old MX records
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited visibility in setup steps Still under development Not 100% integrated with other Check Point products, but its getting there. Would be good to have tiers of product licenses
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing cloud based email security that doesn't require an additional hop in my email chain or changes to mail routing. Makes providing security and filtering email easy
Adding a Security layer to Pro-email Inbox
What do you like best about the product?
The reports part of Avanan is good as provides detailed reports on total emails blocked, phishing links and everything in a proper manner and prevents bad emails from entering the email inbox. Secondly the realtime scanning is very useful feature that this email security have and works great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometime downtime is there and things get slower that is something they need to work upon, also many times non spam emails are also blocked that are important, They should also work on easy data recovery.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Avanan has helped to keep the emails secure and getting reports for each and every details being required, preventing Spam and phishing emails from entering email boxes. Securing email communications with encryption, scanning files in the attachment and anything and everything required to secure emails.
Avanan gets the job done.

It presents a map with a visual indicator of all logins within the last 7 days, which facilitates an easy way to identify suspicious activity.
What do you dislike about the product?
A number of legitimate email messages are blocked because they are incorrectly identified as Phishing emails.

Avanan has been around my organization for the 3 years now. It has been great by stopping all the phishing attacks from unknown emails.

Its kinda not affordable for the small organization especially thinking of short term.

I like how this tool uses AI to protect cloud email and collaboration suites from cyber attacks that evade default and advanced security tools.
