Best Applicant Tracking System on the market

What do you like best about the product?
My company switched from Hire by Google to iCIMS and its been a godsend. iCIMS has full integration of supporting HR software (SparkHire, Docusign etc) which makes the hiring process and candidate experience very seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of capabilities in iCIMS, but it's hard to learn all of it without the proper training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to one system in the HR/recruitment process. Previously, I would need to have multiple tabs and systems running.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Highly recommend this software as the sole HR tool for a business.

Simple and convenient for employer and candidates.

What do you like best about the product?
Our department likes the fact of being able to track activity. I actually like the fact we are even able to monitor IP addresses. We really appreciate our candidates being able to track the progress so that they feel more involved in the process. Openness is also what we are looking for and this facilitates. The customer support was always so swift to respond. Multiple times, we had to contact the help to see if there were any suggestions for a specific role. I sent out a job requirements over and got two questionnaires to choose between within a day. In this quest we used the suggested one, and it went out very well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nonetheless, we haven't hated anything yet, we've use it so far just for 90 queries. We had to change the candidates 'automatic reply message quite a bit because the candidate was a little confused. I do not appreciate the audit function in which each time we need to put a justification for our edits. We only adjust a term or two occasionally so I don't mind filling it out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By modifying the email prototypes we will make our team skillsurvey system more positive. I like the way we can easily edit to meet the needs of that particular quest. We've found we collect references much quicker than we've done before. It helps remove such prejudices by averaging the ratings while we focus on our DEI activities.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
In either the candidates correspondence, be as clear as possible. References are often difficult enough for them to apply. SkillSurvey is an effective and simple method and help the candidate comprehend that.

Manage onboarding and work applications

What do you like best about the product?
In iCIMS, pipeline configurations are easy to use, so even our senior representative can smoothly and intuitively assign candidates to our security team. Whether on the computer, mobile or tablet, iCIMS is simple to use. Also, it allows the fast categorization of applicants into classes for hiring. Also, it is not necessary to sync the scheme overnight, as it can all be accomplished in realtime.
What do you dislike about the product?
In iCIMS it's difficult to adjust the documents as you like, so several executives have document issues because they are unable to manage it. Also, I think iCIMS should focus more on working with a few other providers to allow workflows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The HR department uses iCIMS Talent Acquisition Platform for onboarding, work applications and upgrades in my company. We use it to monitor all of our contracts, employees, and on-board staff for all of our other facilities.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
iCIMS Talent Acquisition Platform is a tool well suited for companies that want to get some valuable information for their hiring procedures in real-time. It makes quite easy to browse through several candidates easily and mark them on your standards for further screening or displacement. However, I consider it won't be suitable for small companies as these will end up using only the basic functionalities of the program and costs may not be justified in this case. You should also consider that it may be difficult to reach a member of the customer service team if you experience problems.

What do you like best about the product?
It was very easy to use and understand. It guided me through the program very easily. I also liked that it gave you the opportunity to write your own strengths and weaknesses for the person I was referencing . They specified that this information would be made confidential.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I tried to do it on my phone, I had a call come in and I lost all my information that I had put in. So I just did it on my pc and then it worked great and I had no trouble.!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I did a job reference for a colleague. It went very smooth and was very easy to use. I like that they sent reminders and follow ups so that you knew what to do.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a very good program. There is very thorough. I did it as a reference. There is a letter that you receive from the person you are referencing. It directs you right to the link for the reference survey. They give you opportunities to write specific details. SkillSurvey is very user friendly! I would highly recommend it to any company.

Handle applications for aspirants

What do you like best about the product?
iCIMS makes it very easy for us to handle articles on our websites, as we have several products and services and for each one we have different Web portals on the same page. It offers great adoption for email models, so our messages don't fall on the wrong standardized channels but in our own iCIMS advertising channels. It is easy to allocate documentation to staff or applicants so you can easily access and recognize papers electronically. Also, it allows you to personalize your onboard report to the business.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish iCIMS could have more user-friendly templates and workflows that could be used by new users quickly, as it takes new user some important time to learn to use the software. The applicant sharing presents problems as well, specially when I want to inform one of my colleagues about an open position in the iCIMS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
iCIMS supports our group in the HR department by handling applications for aspirants across the company. With this well-designed candidate management system, every complicated procedure can be easily achieved. iCIMS allows us to personalize the internal posting and tracking required by state contracts or by our business analysts easily.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
iCIMS stands out for the recruitment process of many candidates for one job. It offers a structure that is highly customizable to provide unlimited range of configuration, tracking and embedding procedures. If you decide to deploy it, you will work quickly around candidates who have applied for your company.

Easy to use; fast! Awesome analytics!

What do you like best about the product?
The efficiency of the process for the employer - major time savings! It provides awesome normative data and we have been able to correlate those normative data numbers to the candidate's tenure at the company. This provides us with predictive analytics to gauge how long an employee will stay with us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes end-users take forever to respond. I have to nudge the candidate to nudge the references they submitted to complete the survey. It would be nice to have an administrator be able to nudge the candidates' references directly once the candidate enters in the information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our reference checking process is incredibly fast. I spend about 30 seconds - 1 minute per candidate versus literally days/weeks waiting and trying to get responses.

What do you like best about the product?
Love that it's all electronic and no more phone calling references and playing phone tag.
What do you dislike about the product?
The system makes you send out a notification when you don't hire someone but yet still a viable candidate. Our candidates already receive a notification thru our main ATS and it's like pouring salt in the wound. We should be able to select whether or not we want to send a notification once the process is done. Sometimes it can be a little difficult searching job titles when they don't match exactly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nothing at this time.

It would be nice If I could tailor or add some questions myself depending on the position.

What do you like best about the product?
SkillSurvey allows employers access to a library of role/skill based surveys which helps Hiring Managers to gain insight into their Candidates abilities, strengths & weaknesses.
What do you dislike about the product?
The number of rated questions as opposed to the number of questions that allow Raters to expand more behavior based instances.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The specialized surveys provide a better understanding of a Candidates' behavior, character traits and work habits in their previous/current roles that assist our Hiring Managers in their employee selection and provide more assurance that they know exactly who they are hiring.
