Robust Partner Software but more customer guidance needed
What do you like best about the product?
Impartner is the first tool we used for partner management - we are on the PX version which is very easily customizable and onboarding was relatively straightforward. The workflows and journeys are easy to build. Compared to competitors, this allowed for our sales reps to stay within the same process in our CRM and easy deal registration through our website and partner portal.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest issues for us have been on the track to implementation - because we were highly recommended to go the PX Route, there was not as much customization and flexibility as we had hoped. However, after attending the conference, we learned there were many best practice ideas that we had not been aware of, so I think it may have just been more guidance needed from our implementation and CS team. Also, we had added News on Demand and 5 months into our contract, we still have not started this process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to begin to automate our partner registrations successfully and create metrics around that for visibility. This also allows our sales reps to handle deals directly within the CRM and create a partner onboarding track.

What do you like best about the product?
It's ease of use and configuring. I enjoy the crm sync function so we can view data moving back and forth from salesforce. Which in this case is great because we have dirty data that we don't want importing to the portal

Self customization is huge as well as our distributors needing access to edit and create reseller information.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some support members generally talk about charging $200/hr. before they've even looked at the issue.
Our CSM is not engaged. This is not a nudge to have him re-engage with us.

Defined partner experiences. A single source for partners to access assets and increase value.

What do you like best about the product?
It's a powerful tool that's easy for a partner/ channel ops person to use. The automation and integration into Salesforce make us more productive and knowledgeable about our business.
Also, the people at Impartner make a huge difference too. Many companies say they will help and support you. Impartner and it's employees actually do as they seek out ways to engage with us and ensure things are working.

What do you dislike about the product?
A fair amount of what you want to do requires you to contact them and sometimes pay for their help. They have addressed that in recent releases by making things more self-serve. That saves time and money.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In a nutshell, we can do more with less. What I mean here is that we can support, engage and enable multiple partner types with a small staff. And with the Partner Journeys module we recently added, we'll be able to tailor learning to a specific user's need. That will hopefully lead to more engagement and revenue.

What do you like best about the product?
A good balance between customization and core functionality. Robust ecosystem of builders to create custom dashboards and engaging experiences.
What do you dislike about the product?
The asset library UI is a bit outdated, could be more like a Netflix or Disney streaming service interface, etc.

Engaging with customers by integrating with multiple systems, particularly salesforce, to automate many steps.

I do consulting for PRM implantations & I love that Impartner takes their customer feedback seriously and includes them in the roadmap planning.

Would like to have a more robust reporting & A/B testing functionality

Communication to clients. Helps significantly during the implantation process.

Impartner does the job for our immediate needs and seems to please our partners that use it. We have no complaints from anyone using it!

Seems a little hard to get more customizable on your own. Definitely need additional assistance from the Impartner team to get to the perfect point.

Deal registration is the biggest utlization we take adavtange of. Makes it easy for our partners to get protection from deals they source to us.

What do you like best about the product?
Impartner PRM has enabled our company to effectively register and track partner referral leads and opportunities. The partner portal is a valuable tool for our partners as a central hub for intel, resources and self service.
What do you dislike about the product?
We implemented the classic version and it was more complex than anticipated. Some simple functionality seemed to be more challenging to get implemented than it should be
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The core of our partner program is referral leads and tracking them through our CRM (SalesForce) through closure and ultimately commission payment to the partner. Impartner enables this and provides real time intel to our partners.
