Amazing, powerful and simple, the organizational dream of every team.
What do you like best about the product?
A very useful - maybe even invaluable - tool for busy workplaces. Asana is a great tool to coordinate small teams (or startups) and be more productive while monitoring progress and bottlenecks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to assign the same task to two people is a pain. I don't want to duplicate the task because that clutters up my project space and can cause confusion
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has been a huge asset to our company! It is very easy to use, clean, organized, aesthetically engaging, and customizable enough to fit the specific needs of unique organizations.
Asana works with our time tracking platform so employees don't have to shift between windows to track which project they are working on.
Asana Timeline is simple enough that we don't waste valuable hours just getting the project timeline setup.

Best Paid Work Management Software
What do you like best about the product?
Asana helps us to completely focus on project goals, balanced workloads for a project team. It gives us deadline management, integration with other applications, Day, Week wise management etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes if project is big than it's view get's really confusing. One more thing is it only allows to assign a task to only one person there should be multiple assignment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Basic Analysis of daily workload, easily integration of other apps like bitbucket, showing kanban dashboard and gantt chart really helpful.
My choice for Pm
What do you like best about the product?
I find Asana is the most intuitive software I’ve used
What do you dislike about the product?
I prefer Asana but with bigger projects I may need something else
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great for getting everyone on the same page and meeting deadlines/project goals
Organized Team efforts
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite function is the assignment tab - I am a coordinator at a gaming company and there is a lot of different tasks I need to delegate for different people to process. Using Asana and assigning them to people, creates a more streamlined approach to help get things approved.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are too many columns, in the midst of so many projects, too many columns creates confusion
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is used best for ongoing projects, especially during the approval process. It feels great to assign it to someone and let them complete the task on their own time. Perhaps we can also use a reminder button
The best project management software I have used
What do you like best about the product?
Great organization and structuring is very flexible. It's very easy to create dependence and flows for repetitive projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
The flexibility of the system means you have to know and understand it before you get too deep. It's very easy to use Asana in a crappy way. But if you are smart and invest the time, it is awesome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management across multiple teams for all areas of a business. Very easy to have others follow and bring folks into a task mid-project.
Great for task management!
What do you like best about the product?
When I used Asana, it was great for managing tasks and automated processes. It gave me a clear view of where each project was at. My favorite view was the board view, it's just how my brain works. I absolutely loved that I could add subtasks inside of each task but my favorite thing was having a template created and being able to implement a more automated system within my projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't like that I couldn't see all the projects on one dashboard (or at least I couldn't find it). I wish the board view was more condensed. I didn't like that I had to scroll really far over to be able to see where the end of my project was at.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was able to finally see what part of the process each client was in. I set it up so I could manage branding projects. I loved that I could see a lot of different views but also check off a whole chunk of the project easily. This made it much more efficient to work in.
Asana is our go to CMS and PMS
What do you like best about the product?
We use Asana for its versatility and ease of use. Features we use daily include notifications, collaboration, file sharing and management. We integrate is with Slack for added efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
We do not have any significant dislikes. Asana has done a good job of learning from previous CMS systems and creating a very user friendly, comprehensive platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Client and project management are the key features our business needs to function well. Asana provides that for us. Retaining historical activities helps a lot. We have clients that stay with us for years, and having the archived ability to review prior projects is very helpful.
A great tool!
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that you can see your to-do list in different views: list, calendar, Gantt chart. You can also assign tasks and provide due dates, along with a description and any relevant reference documents. I also love that you can chat with your team directly within a task, so all the information you need for a specific project is in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I wish Asana would have a little more flexibility/editing available because it's currently a fairly rigid structure that doesn't necessarily lend itself to more complicated projects without spending a lot of time finding a workaround.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is great for project management and truly staying on top of your tasks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great tool for keeping track of your to-do list and assigning tasks to your team members. I do recommend getting 100% buy-in from everyone at your company because otherwise, it won't work well.
Excellent business communication and planning tool for teams
What do you like best about the product?
1)The ease of use
2) It is super intuitive and self-explanatory
3) The breakdown of each task into even smaller sub-tasks makes the individual task clear
4) So much better than sending to and fro 100 emails on one task. Here we can chat on each granule task similar to IM
5) It is free if the team size is small
6) options to see what your other team members are up to and what cool projects they are working on

What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing, in particular, to dislike but you cannot have bigger teams on Asana - unless you buy the pro version for 10 dollars a person per month. Another issue I faced was - it is easy for someone to get lost and miss important updates on Asana as the emails and updates sometimes are not catchy enough. It is also less recommended for super complex projects that require extra technical communication.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used asana to stay up to date with my team project and my personal tasks at hand for the same. It helps me get organized. I just start off with minimal subtasks and before I know my main task for the day is completed. Also, I find it saves up so much time writing emails on the issues and doubts faced. I can simply put them down in Asana pane, and get a reply almost like Skype IM.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana is brilliant if you team size is small. The ease of use and intuitive interface is a pure winner. But if you are a bigger team then you have to pay 10 dollars a person per month. Here if you feel its unnecessary expenditure you can check new upcoming similar tools like Monday.com and see what fits you the best.
