Best PM tool I've used yet
What do you like best about the product?
Asana's welcoming aesthetic and incredibly organized approach to board-based task management makes PM work a breeze. Templates created for whatever the project is really helps me to think about what to expect.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how very low the threshold is to require a paid plan - I always hope a tool this useful will be closer to free than it is in its current.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dividing up a WBS has never been easier than it is with Asana, and it integrates amazingly well with Slack.

It gives you a timeline of how all the projects work together.

It's harder to add two people to one task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's an accountability tool that shows who is in charge of what. It has increased productivity by 100%.

Asana is great software for organizing & managing your work flow
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has multiple features that I really like, including the projects tab, due dates, and conversations. This task manager makes identifying goals simple and keeping a team on track even easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't a whole lot that I don't like about Asana but I have noticed when nesting a task within another task, Asana might start lagging to create that subtask. This happens more frequently when the original task is more than 2 years old
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has helped me keep my work flow clean while also holding myself accountable with clear deadlines. The communication between my manager and the others on my team is crucial for us being successful.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that the interface is easy to use and pretty simple
Its also a really nice looking interface, its not an eye sore, there are no pop ups. etc. I usually use it on a desktop but im sure the app is good too... i should get it!

What do you dislike about the product?
Well i wish i could connect my Gcal to it, i just feel like the calendar aspect is lacking for someone who is constantly trying to manage programs. I use Google apps and Asana, and it would be great if the two would work together better. Like, if the asana and google calendar could syn and if i deleted something on one, it would delete on the other. And the same for adding. Sometimes busy bees like me like multiple apps to help their brains keep things organized, and it just sucks that its not easier to use in that regard. But, i still think Asana is the best of the to-do list apps out there.'
It would alos be great to be able to literally download the tasks ive already finished. Sometimes when u work forin a contracted position, they want to know what you completed. this way i could literally show them everything + my thought process and level of organization.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I manage a medical program for uc berkeley and i run a business, so i use them for both. I think its beneficial especially for those weeks where i have so much going on that I feel like i cant event comprehend the amount of work. Asana helps my brain relax becausei just work on each task one by one, and boom, it disappeares!
Recommend Asana as team management tool
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy and intuitive to use, with color coding and individual assignments easily created. The design is simple and not confusing. It facilitates group work and makes monitoring of tasks easy. We also integrated Asana into our email calendars, which provided an additional tool for better management. The notifications in particular proved very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I was only using the basic version. It took my team a while to adapt to it, which was unfortunate. When the projects got more complex, I had sometimes trouble finding the info I needed using the search function.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly team organisation and task management. This was particularly useful when working towards a deadline and when broader things to do are broken down into little tasks with tight deadlines. I could assign my team broader and smaller tasks, and they could see who to coordinate with.

A great tool, definitely consider using it!

What do you like best about the product?
I like that its very user friendly and easy to navigate. It's very simple to create and assign tasks and its easy to create different projects, which helps me stay organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are so many things that Asana can do, but a lot of our staff don;t understand it yet. There is a bit of a learning curve and it takes time to be able to understand all that asana is capable off. Very time sensitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
this helps our business have clarity of who is responsible for what and by assigning deadlines & having emails connected, it helps our staff stay on time with their assignments.
Great UI and Organization
What do you like best about the product?
I like the easy check boxes and assigning others to a specific task. This ensures that everyone knows exactly what their job is..
You can attach a due date and attach files easily. It's very intuitive!
I enjoy the color scheme as well and its easy to reorganize tasks. You can drag and move tasks so its more visual. you can move tasks upwards and down the list in case a task priority does change.
You can also have different projects for better organizations.
I enjoy the ease of access with Single sign on using google so I dont need to remember another username and password. It has good security features and accessing the settings is very easy. You can use a picture to also help associate who is assigned to a card. Its visual to the point where you can see easily who is assigned, the specific due date and title of the task without needing to click the actual tasks.

Finding completed tasks is a little hard and sometimes it takes a little bit of work to find completed projects and figure it out.

We use Asana for planning projects such as conference room set ups.
We also use it for day to day tasks that come up so that we can assign and delegate tasks accordingly.

If you need something more visual.. Trello is a good choice as well.

We love every aspect of Asana. We have even gotten more creative with the set up of different projects,

Give it a try and you'll love it! our company has seen so much progress in sorting and accomplishing tasks. Our projects are completed more thoroughly and quickly than ever before.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how detailed the software is. As a social media manager, I'm able to communicate effortlessly with our designer and can let him know how high of a priority a task is. I can re-assign to others and it's nice to be able to complete an entire project within a single task.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes gets confusing with all of the teams my company has internally. Also, everything essentially has to go through the Project Manager in order for it to be successful or else it will get confusing. You also can't multi-assign to two people so only one person can have ownership at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All of our agency projects go through Asana. From adding copy to a landing page to creating coded pages, we work through Asana.
