Empowers Team Collaboration and Planning
What do you like best about the product?
Helps teams to collaborate and plan out projects and campaigns
What do you dislike about the product?
When I am in a project and add a project to it, then accidentally hit the link to that project, I have to go back into the project and resort it, and find where I was up to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Marketing project management and being organised as a team.
Essential Workflow Software: Highly Recommended
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is one of those software applications I had never used before my current job, but now it's hard to imagine working without it! Not only is it easy to use, but I also found it easy to integrate into my day-to-day work. In past jobs, I used to have a daily or weekly to-do list, but now I just check my Asana for tasks for that week. I use it every workday, and it's instrumental, especially with the kind of work that my company does, with lots of moving parts. Having the status of clients' projects and other information (like my colleague's comments on tasks) right at your fingertips has been a game-changer for sure.
What do you dislike about the product?
There aren't many downsides to Asana for me, aside from a slight learning curve with the software. Some features aren't as intuitive, like adding a task to the specific project heading or subheading, which can be confusing to do at first. A minor dislike I have for Asana is that a comment's timestamp shows only the number of days since the person commented, not the date itself. Having a timestamp of the date and time that they commented would make things easier and faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves the problems of not only time management, but also workflow and project management, along with project collaboration. Asana helps my role go smoothly due to solving these issues, by breaking up larger projects into manageable sizes and encouraging collaboration with coworkers. Additionally, with the ability to leave Asana comments, my coworkers know where I am with a certain task or project, and it helps with the flow of information.
Seamless Collaboration for Cross-Functional Teams
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that Asana allows cross-functional teams to be in a single place. Teams from sales, creative, and operations can all use the same source of truth and collaborate within this single tool, which is great. Asana also solves the problem of having a single place that serves as the source of truth for project and deliverables status. It helps us assign due dates, manage dependencies, and maintain visibility, keeping us on track to drive key outcomes. Instead of relying on fragmented updates or communication, Asana ensures alignment across all of our teams so we can complete projects efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, the features (notifications, boards, comments) can get overwhelming, but this is more of a user issue than anything. Any way to simplify would be great. For example, smart filter to focus only on high priority updates, or cleaner way to organize and collapse comment threads.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to track client projects and deliverables, serving as a single source of truth for project status. It helps assign due dates, manage dependencies, and maintain visibility, ensuring alignment across sales, creative, and operations teams for completing projects.
Intuitive UI with Room for Team Insights
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy the UI is in Asana. It's simple and easy for all team members to use and not just project managers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish we could better tell who has what on their plate and everyone's or team's bandwidth. We would better be able to know who to assign certain tasks if one person is slammed and another not busy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana for organizing projects and tasks. Its simple UI makes it easy for all team members to use, not just project managers.
Streamlined Project Management with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I love the flexibility of project views in Asana, which helps me manage both personal and team workflows effectively. The clarity and accountability for tasks are also fantastic, ensuring that everyone knows their responsibilities. I especially appreciate how Asana keeps everything organized in real-time, so I always know exactly what's happening and what needs attention next. The initial setup was simple, which allowed our team to begin using it right away.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to see Asana simplify some of its advanced features, which can feel a bit overwhelming when trying to set up more complex workflows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about the product?
Helps my Accounting & HR Team keeps all our open tasks organized in a single place. When you have information coming from all directions, it is nice to be able to use the integrations to push things right over to Asana at the touch of a button, Emails, Teams Messages and More! I love being able to see my teams capacity and workload at a glance and keep projects on track! Setting up project templates has made our monthly checklists a breeze!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the reporting could be a bit more robust, we use Asana to track internal billing and have struggled with the reporting of the actual hours utilized on each task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously, our checklists were scattered across different Word and Excel documents. Now, everything is conveniently brought together on a single platform!

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana brings all our projects together in a single place, making it easy to share tasks and track visible progress.
Intuitive UI, Flexible Work Styles
What do you like best about the product?
I like the intuitive User Interface (UI) of Asana, which allows anyone to seamlessly work off the same dataset and view work according to their preference, whether in lists, timelines, or swimlanes. This flexibility is beneficial for team collaboration, as it accommodates different working styles and ensures the entire team can effectively collaborate to achieve milestones. The fact that Asana enables team members to operate in their own style while converging on common goals is a significant advantage. Additionally, I find the setup process for Asana to be very easy, which greatly facilitates onboarding and reduces downtime when adopting the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to set date values instead of setting a date for tasks in project boards. If a task takes 5 days to complete and you need to push it back, you have to go in and update the date values and subsequent tasks thereafter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana for marketing projects, managing resources, and timelines efficiently. It lets my team work in different styles to achieve milestones collaboratively and view data in lists, timelines, or swimlanes.

Intuitive UI and Versatile Project Views Make Asana a Standout
What do you like best about the product?
The project view type (list, board, timeline) is something that I like about Asana. Additionally its intuitive UI does not have a hard learning curve associated with it.
What do you dislike about the product?
A single assignee per task is something that has made collaborating on projects difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana integrates smoothly with other task management software, which has made it much easier to collaborate with larger teams and external stakeholders.
