Clear Visuals, Strong Task Management

  • April 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the clear visuals for every task and the ability to schedule with a global project calendar. Assigning tasks helps us focus and understand everyone's responsibilities. I appreciate task assignments, dependencies, and milestone messaging as they help track and review projects, plus plan the workload ahead. Using Asana AI has also been a huge help in refining our project templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've been using the Asana AI a lot more often when creating tasks in bulk, but we would like to see sub-tasks to be part of the Asana AI toolset. We have tried using Asana with Slack, but it does have a bigger learning curve for most of our staff on the team, so we don't use it as much or not at all. At first, it was a bit hard to get the team to understand how Asana works, which led us to conduct training using Asana videos on YouTube.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to organize AV projects into sections and tasks, assign resources, track progress, and maintain a historical knowledge base with dependencies. It offers clear task visuals, scheduling, and a project calendar. Task assignments and dependencies help focus our team and manage workload effectively.

I also like that I can integrate my calendar and email as well as Slack to have a smoother way to create tasks and share updates
What do you dislike about the product?
One pain point for me is that tracking progress toward goals can be a bit complicated to set up, especially if you’re not yet familiar with Asana’s layout.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me keep track of tasks and assign them to staff without needing to hold a meeting every time. It makes working on ongoing projects more efficient

Asana Makes Multi-Team Project Management Simple and Flexible

  • April 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Asana is how simple it makes project and task management, even when handling multiple teams and deadlines at the same time. The interface is clean, easy to understand, and doesn’t take much time for new users to get comfortable with.

I especially like the flexibility of viewing work in different formats like lists, boards, timelines, and calendars depending on the project requirement. It helps keep everything organized and improves visibility across teams. Task assignments, due dates, comments, and notifications work smoothly, which reduces follow-up emails and improves collaboration.

Another thing I appreciate is the integration support with tools like Slack, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Teams. It helps centralize work and saves time switching between applications. Overall, Asana has helped improve productivity, accountability, and project tracking in day-to-day operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about Asana is that some advanced features are locked behind higher-tier plans, which can become expensive for growing teams. At times, managing very large projects with too many tasks and notifications can also feel overwhelming, especially for new users.

The mobile app is useful for quick updates, but it occasionally feels less smooth compared to the desktop version when handling detailed project management tasks. Additionally, customization for reporting and dashboards could be more flexible without requiring premium features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps solve problems related to task tracking, team coordination, and overall project visibility. Before using it, we managed work through a mix of emails, chats, and spreadsheets, which often led to missed deadlines, duplicated efforts, and confusion about who owned which tasks.

With Asana, everything is organized in one place. It’s much easier to assign responsibilities, track progress, and keep an eye on deadlines in real time. Automated reminders and status updates also reduce the need for manual follow-ups and help improve accountability across teams.

It has improved collaboration between different departments as well, since everyone can clearly see project priorities, active tasks, and dependencies. As a result, productivity has increased, workflows feel more streamlined, and projects are completed more efficiently and on time.

Highly Customizable, Enhances Task Visibility

  • April 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Asana is very customizable, allowing users to set up as many fields as they want and easily view them as tickets come in. This flexibility is great for tracking status and outcomes effectively. It also provides good visibility on outstanding tasks, which is crucial for managing reps' queries on commissions through the ticket system.
What do you dislike about the product?
To set up the workflow properly in Asana, a user needs to have experience or go through trainings and documentations. It seems intuitive but you really need to have some knowledge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana provides a customizable form for reps to enter information, set up automation workflows, and track status and outcomes, offering visibility on outstanding tasks.

Effective Client Management but Needs Improvement with Recurring Tasks

  • April 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Asana allows for subtasks under a task, which makes it easy to organize complex tasks. I also appreciate having the ability to create private tasks for myself, so I can manage personal to-dos alongside my work-related ones.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you have a subtask with a date, and then a task with the date and you check off the task before the subtask, if it's recurring, it creates a lot of issues. I've figured out that the main task just should not have a date and the subtasks should if it's recurring.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves the problem of identifying who is taking what task and outlines necessary steps to complete it.

Asana Keeps Teams on Track, and AI Helps with the Heavy Lifting

  • April 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The more a whole team utilizes its features and stays committed to communicating in it, Asana grows in its usefulness and utility for keeping a team on track towards projects' completion.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's unintuitive to take your ideas and get that detailed into Asana. If you're Type B, like me, this product won't make you Type A. But it still does a great job filling in, and its AI tool can even do some of the heavy lifting for details and task creation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's creating cohesion and uniformity across our team. It gives us a central place to track progress and communicate with each other.

Elevates Marketing Project Management

  • April 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Asana for the multiple views of the same task, dependencies, custom fields, automation, reminders, and visibility features. It gives me an in-depth view and keeps me on track. I can always know where projects and tasks are at, identify bottlenecks, and have all the information for each project brought together. The initial setup was very easy and I had no issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
AI reporting summary is not accurate and needs to be manually updated, and there's no way to highlight an area in tasks, which would be helpful to call out areas that need clarification.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to keep teams aligned, manage task status, and bring project info together, helping me see bottlenecks and track everything.

Streamlined Team Coordination, Easy Customization

  • April 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Asana for project tracking and management, and it really helps connect the entire team by keeping everyone informed about project status, open ticket items, and individual responsibilities. I also like Asana’s ease of use and customization, since I manage different types of projects and often need different templates. It’s simple to adjust Asana to fit my workflow as those needs change. Another feature I appreciate is the notifications, which help me stay on top of responsibilities and surface blockers, so teams remain accountable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was more customer facing - something that could more easily put in front of a client to help them see project progress and any tasks they need to complete

Right now, I don't feel comfortable whether from a access/security perspective or a UI perspective sharing with other users/clients
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to keep my team connected, aware of project status, and responsibilities. It's easy to use and customize with templates for different projects. Notifications help track responsibility and show blockers, making teams accountable.
