Effortless Project Management with Template Customization
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to build templates in Asana and then customize each one for our specific trips. It makes sure everyone follows the same checklist while allowing us to add or delete tasks as needed, so projects aren't cluttered with unnecessary tasks. Tagging coworkers in tasks and assigning responsibilities is a breeze, and setting due dates helps a lot in organizing. The reminders that come through are really helpful because they take away the mental load of keeping track of each trip's task list. Overall, Asana provides managers with visibility into project status, prevents us from forgetting key steps in trip planning, and aids collaboration with the business office on invoices and wire payments. The initial setup was also very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
On my dashboard, the customized views don't work very well. The automations don't update often enough to make it particularly useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana provides visibility into project status, helps avoid missing steps in trip planning, and facilitates collaboration on invoices. Customizable templates and task tagging streamline project management, while reminders reduce my mental load.
Easy Task Tracking and Clear Team Visibility in Asana
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Asana keeps projects organized without feeling overwhelming. The timeline and task dependency features make it easy to see what needs to happen next and where delays might impact the team. I also appreciate being able to assign priorities, add comments directly within tasks, and keep all updates in one place instead of scattered across emails or chats.
The calendar and board views are both useful depending on the type of work I’m managing, and switching between them is seamless. Notifications are helpful without being excessive, which makes it easier to stay on top of deadlines. Performance has been reliable for our day-to-day use, and the pricing feels reasonable for the value it provides.
We haven’t explored many integrations yet, but the Slack and Google Drive connections look promising for improving collaboration. Setup was straightforward, and most of the guidance I needed was available through their help resources. I also haven’t had much opportunity to use the AI tools yet, but I’m interested to see how they evolve.

What do you dislike about the product?
I haven’t really found anything to dislike so far, as it has delivered everything we expected it to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us to keep track of work without things getting lost in chats or emails. It’s made it much easier to see who’s working on what, what’s pending, and what’s coming up next. Before using it, we used to follow up manually a lot more, but now everything’s in one place and way easier to manage.
Most Intuitive Project Management Tool—Powerful Without the Confusion
What do you like best about the product?
It’s the most intuitive project management tool I’ve used. It’s way less confusing than others, like Notion, but still just as powerful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their mobile app UI isn’t very intuitive. Sometimes projects seem to get lost, and the app can be a bit glitchy, which makes it frustrating to use at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’ve used it for both my personal life and work. I’ve relied on it for everything from tracking OKRs and complex event projects to keeping a shared grocery list.
Bridging Gantt Charts and To-Do Lists with deep functionality
What do you like best about the product?
Asana bridges the gap between tasks on Gantt charts and personal to-do lists. That by itself is good, and achieved more simply and intuitively than I have seen it in a lot of older solutions. There is also a lot of depth to the tool, so tailoring to an environment is well supported. As an example, you can set up a project template that can help with supporting/enforcing a PM framework, or just give you some support to do things like employee onboarding in a reliably consistent way.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main downside I can see is that in an environment with established practices and tools around project management, work assignment, resourcing, and productivity, it might be complicated to either replace all of that with Asana, or replace part, and integrate the rest.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am creating a project delivery framework for my division, and so far Asana is ticking all the boxes that I wanted a framework support solution to tick.
Asana Keeps Our Team Organised with Easy Workflows
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has helped our teams to be more organised. It has very easy workflows the team can follow to schedule in any tasks.
When writing briefs, the AI assistant comes in handy to ensure everything is clear and concise.
We tried the free version for a while, but quickly got to our limits, but after upgrading the account, everything seems to work together much easier. with its integrated messaging functionality, it makes it easier for users to quickly ask questions. The integrated email workflow makes sure that all collaborators on the task are informed about any changes.
Onboarding was pretty straight forward and the online help answered all questions we had.

What do you dislike about the product?
there isn't really anything, Asana is perfect for what we are using it for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a centralised tool that all briefs to staff go in helped with workflow and accountability. Especially if a staff member was off sick, it could easily be found and re-assigned.
Polished UI/UX and Frequent Updates
What do you like best about the product?
It looks good, has nice ui/ux, updated a lot
What do you dislike about the product?
Too complex, tries too hard, not sure how it works with agents
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps our team stay organized
Projects Board Makes Team Collaboration and Task Visibility Easy
What do you like best about the product?
I love the projects board where I can see a list of all the tasks I'm working on even if they are not assigned to me. It's very helpful when collaborating with co-workers and making sure you have eyes on all tasks even if they're not in your inbox or under my tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was a big adjustment at first when I started my job that used this platform as the main project management software. There were a lot of pre-existing automations, projects, categories within projects, etc. that were already configured and I had to get up to speed with organizing everything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing my projects and tasks, keeping on track with deadlines, being more in the loop of other tasks going on with various other projects in other departments that may be relevant to me.
Streamlines Task Management but Needs Better Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I like Asana's simple UX design, which helps me stay focused on the organization's vision and manage daily tasks effectively. It allows me to organize priorities that align with our mission and efficiently delegate tasks that aren't crucial to me. The initial setup of Asana was pretty easy, which I really appreciated.
What do you dislike about the product?
The connection between Asana and other tools like mail and calendar should be better. The Gmail integration sometimes works and sometimes does not, making it difficult to rely on. Having a reliable email connection could help stay organized with priorities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to organize team priorities and daily focus with a modern task management tool. It helps me align tasks with my organization's vision and mission and delegate less important tasks.
Super Helpful for Organizing Projects with Customizable Boards and Reminders
What do you like best about the product?
It’s been super helpful for organizing all of my projects. I can even customize my boards, and I get reminder notifications on my phone, which makes it easier to stay on top of everything!
What do you dislike about the product?
With the way the board is designed right now, I’d really love the option to customize it, colors, fonts, and sizes for each block. I think that would make it much easier to go through all the tasks I have
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing my workload and my deadlines mostly! I'd love for it to include some workload Ai or something similar
Flexible Integrations and Valuable Asana Academy Training
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the flexibility and available integrations that Asana offers. The Asana Academy and training available has also been very valuable so far.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that only one person can be assigned to a task within Asana, as this is not how our team works. It takes extra time to duplicate or create subtasks, when it would be more efficient to allow multiple assignees.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is helping us gain clarity on incoming work requests, as well as gaining truer data on time spent on various projects and tasks.
