Easy Workflow Organization for Our Virtual Assistant Team
What do you like best about the product?
I use it to organize my Virtual Assistant’s daily workflow. We assign task lists under each day and keep tabs for specific FAQs. The layout makes it easy to access information quickly and stay organized, which helps improve our team’s performance. We use the free version, which keeps costs down and still supports our team when onboarding clients and new field staff.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes we’re limited in how information can be organized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Makes the visual aspect of workflow easy to read and access
Asana’s Intake Forms Save Us Tons of Time
What do you like best about the product?
It integrates with Google so that I can create tasks directly from email. I can also set up intake forms so projects populate natively in Asana, saving me time and keeping me from having to input projects manually. I've set my intake forms so that AI automatically assigns tasks to me and others on my teams, right down to anticipated deadlines. All I have to do is check the dates and that the tasks match the full scope of the project.. The user experience is also very user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not as customizable as some of it's competitors. The app also needs updates all the time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Asana for managing marketing projects across multiple organizations and service lines. It keeps our workflow straight, helps us track time, and ensures deadlines are met. It also provides each team member with personalized to-do lists.
Streamlined Project Tracking and Collaboration with a Clean, User-Friendly Interface
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Asana is how straightforward it makes project tracking and team coordination. The interface is clean and user-friendly, so creating tasks, assigning responsibilities, setting deadlines, and keeping an eye on progress all feels efficient and manageable. The timeline and board views make it easy to visualize each project stage, and the notifications and reminders help ensure nothing slips through the cracks. It also strengthens collaboration since team members can comment directly on tasks, attach files, and update statuses in one central place. Overall, it saves time, improves accountability, and keeps work organized, even when I’m managing multiple projects at once.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about Asana is that some of the more advanced features are only available in the higher pricing plans, which can feel limiting for smaller teams. Also, when I’m managing multiple projects at once, the volume of notifications can become overwhelming. For new users, it may take time to fully understand everything that’s available, including features like rules, dependencies, and reporting. A simpler onboarding experience, along with more flexibility in the lower-tier plans, would make Asana even better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps solve the problem of scattered communication and missed deadlines by keeping tasks, updates, and responsibilities in one central place. Before using it, it was hard to track project progress across emails and chats, but now it’s much easier to assign work, monitor deadlines, and follow project status in real time. As a result, team accountability has improved, follow-up time has decreased, and overall project execution feels more organized and efficient—especially when managing multiple tasks at once.
Clean, Intuitive Asana That Makes Even Big Task Lists Feel Manageable
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Asana is how clean and intuitive it feels right out of the box. It somehow makes even a huge list of tasks feel manageable instead of overwhelming. I also like being able to switch between a list, a board, or a calendar view depending on how my brain is working that day. The little animations when you complete a task are a nice touch, too—it genuinely makes checking things off feel like a win. Overall, it’s a smooth experience that doesn’t feel like “work” just to stay organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I find pretty annoying is that you can’t assign a single task to multiple people. I understand they want one person to be accountable, but in the real world a lot of work is a group effort, and having to duplicate tasks just to show who’s involved is a hassle.
The pricing can also feel a bit like a trap. It’s not easy to add just one person at a time, since you’re pushed into buying seats in blocks of five. For a smaller team, that ends up feeling like wasted money.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana basically prevents those “who was supposed to do that?” conversations from happening. Before we started using it, we were constantly digging through old chats and emails just to figure out the next step on a project. Now everything has a clear owner and a due date, so there’s far less confusion about what needs to happen and who’s responsible.
It’s also helped me stay on top of my own workload, because I can see exactly what’s on my plate for the week without having to keep a mental list of everything. Overall, it takes a lot of the stress out of managing a busy schedule.

I like how Asana does a really good job of keeping things consistent and clear. It allows me to manage project tasks and timelines easily, ensuring that my agency and clients can be accountable for our agreements. I love how it lets me input multiple tasks based on timelines and then shows me the daily tasks I need to complete, promoting progress towards the end goal. Integrating with my email and messaging platforms is also a helpful feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at this time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana keeps project tasks and timelines understandable, holding my agency and clients accountable and shows tasks daily to make incremental progress towards goals.

Empowers Task Management with Clear Visuals, Needs Simpler Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
I like the dashboards and the way I can quickly see how a project is going by just taking a look at the dashboard and seeing the charts. This setup allows me to understand every part of a project based on the statistics. It's also helpful for monitoring time consumption on projects, budgeting hours, and seeing the percentage of completion. I appreciate being able to evaluate whether we're on track with tasks and knowing how much more we need to invest in a project. Asana's customization options were really nice, letting us find the right templates and workflows, even if it took a little bit of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not very clear how to export reports, for example. It's also a little over complicated sometimes. So it's not as intuitive sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to keep track of my tasks, control projects, and stay updated. It provides a clear view of timelines and progress, helping me stay on track. I also appreciate the dashboards for quick project status insights.
