Best program to keep digital assets organized

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the ease of being able to keep all of our digital assess in one place. Prior to this we were using other programs and it was very difficult to keep organized. We are a nonprofit with a very large number members. Being able to tag pictures and have the face recognition has been super helpful when recognizing our members.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t dislike anything, but there could always be improvement with the UX. Creating a public link or upload link can be very tedious.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping assists in one place and making it easy to organize.

Love Canto - great for enabling our sales org with materials

What do you like best about the product?
We’ve been using Canto for sales enablement, and honestly, it’s been a total game-changer for our team. Managing and sharing content used to be a bit chaotic, but now everything’s organized and easy to find. Whether we’re in a meeting or on a call with a customer, we can pull up the right sales materials in seconds—thanks to Canto’s smart search and simple layout.

One of our favorite features is the Portals. They let us build custom collections of marketing assets that are always current and perfectly on-brand, so our sales team isn’t wasting time digging through folders or second-guessing if a file’s outdated.

Since switching to Canto, we’ve cut way down on the time spent hunting for the right content. That means more time for real conversations with clients—and more closed deals. For us, it’s become an essential part of staying efficient, professional, and consistent across the board.
What do you dislike about the product?
We love using Canto, but we do wish the PDF editing tools were a bit more robust. Being able to make quick markups or minor changes directly in the platform would save our team time and streamline our workflows. It’s a great system overall—this added functionality would just take it to the next level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canto helps us solve the problem of scattered sales materials by giving our team one central place to find the most current, on-brand assets. Instead of wasting time digging through folders or double-checking version control, our reps can quickly grab what they need—even in the middle of a client call. It’s made our sales process more efficient, more consistent, and a whole lot less stressful.

A neat and helpful software!

What do you like best about the product?
I like Canto because it is a neat software that allows for organized storage of photos. It is easy to use and keep all your photos and videos stored for anyone in your organization to use. It is a level up from a simple drive or folder database because it allows you to tag your photos and make it easier to nail down the perfect one for your needs. No longer are we spending time scrolling through photos for the perfect marketing needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is challenging to download smaller photo sizes. I wanted to create a preset for our employees but it seemed to not work how I wanted it to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No longer are we using simple dropbox folders to house our photos. We can now categorize and sort our photos based on the criteria that makes sense for our organization. Being a clean water organization, we are constant using the keywords "clean water," "dirty water," "smile," "children."

What do you like best about the product?
Canto has been a game-changer for managing our digital assets. The platform is incredibly intuitive, making it easy to organize, tag, and retrieve files efficiently. The tagging system is straightforward, and the filtering options are robust - our end users can quickly find exactly what they need without any confusion.

One of our most used features is the ability to share assets through dynamic links. It's a huge timesaver knowing that if a file is updated, the share link automatically reflects the latest version. This ensures consistency and eliminates the need to resend updated files manually.

Another feature we appreciate is the option to restrict access to files that aren't ready for public viewing. It gives us more control over our content and allows us to manage release timing with confidence.

Overall, Canto has streamlined our workflow and made digital asset management significantly more efficient and user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have not come across any drawbacks in our multiple years of using Canto.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to using Canto, our organization relied soley on network drives that were difficult to keep organized and even more difficult to search. Canto's search functionality is leaps and bounds more efficient and useful than our previous solution. Because of this, our end-users are able to be more self-sufficient, leading to more efficient workflows.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Canto is the ability to share large files. Our company previously had trouble sending and accessing large files to our sales team when they were traveling, so this has been great.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were other ways to organize the DAM other than by date added. It would be helpful to have a custom set up, more options (alphabetical, etc.), or be able to pin files to the top.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canto has helped with sending files internally.

What do you like best about the product?
Direct URL's are awesome for keeping documents on our website up to date.

I would like to see more admin control for setting up the Canto App differently from the website version.

Users Love Easy Link Sharing, But Struggle with Search

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of sharing links with people! I like how I have select a personalized blend of files and create a link with ease that anyone can access.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI search tags can throw off how effective search is, and ultimately the thing I hear more from users is that the search doesn't work well when trying to locate specific files.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of sharing content with variety of people through links makes content easily shareable and digestible for various people.

What do you like best about the product?
It is incredibly helpful how organized Canto is. Everything is titled and in an appropriate category with descriptions, which makes finding things and knowing what everything is, much easier
What do you dislike about the product?
I primarily use the marketing resource portal so I do not have much experience in any other features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a database I can find almost anything I need instead of using multiple platforms to locate things.

Trusting Canto with our Photos!

What do you like best about the product?
Using Canto to house, categorize, and organize our huge photo library is just the start... as a designer, what I like best about Canto is the ability to use "Canto Connect" in my Adobe products. I can seamlessly take images directly from my Canto window in Adobe Illustrator and Indesign and place (and link) them. It's amazing. It's intuitive and easy. I use it almost daily. Implementing additions to our database is also easy and seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
There has only been one instance I've had difficulty and that was signing onto the Canto Connector. But that was in the very beginning and it was probably more to do with our companies credentials and my email address. But the great thing about it was that my lead was able to get in touch with our Canto rep and resolve the situation almost immediately. I was very impressed with the Customer Service and quick care.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canto is helping to organize our thousands of images, logos, icons, etc. We have so many and Canto makes it easy to find and connect those things with our designs.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the album sharing, folder organizing and deletion after 30 days options.
What do you dislike about the product?
that little orange help chat button on the bottom right. Its SO annoying! I need to click on the bottom right to version over files "save as new" and that little orange button stays in the way! 0/10
