What do you like best about the product?
Love how Canto easily allows you to customize how the DAM products works. This platform has made organizing our content so seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike! Canto has been a great product for our organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing content using meta tagging, which has made finding content so much easier for us. This has been a major issue in the past, but with Canto, it's as simple as describing what you want and it pops up!

What do you like best about the product?
This portal has been a Godsend to our company and really makes it easy to navigate and see everything our company has to offer our partners.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search bar function could really use some additions and personalization options. The tags and keywords is a good start, but the ability to customize HOW the search looks through folders and files would really make this go up another level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It easily gives our partners and customers an open library experience.

Intuitive

What do you like best about the product?
End-user interface can be customized for our branded experience. We are having fun creating portals for our various campaigns and audiences.
What do you dislike about the product?
Details matter during integration! I've watched and rewatched the many wonderful helper videos to best convert our many-layered file structure into this new format. It's been time-consuming, but fruitful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canto is providing remote access to my assets which were previously available only on my local drive. Also, Canto is bringing these assets forward so that my team and my larger organization can access and utilize as needed. Our assets are also now being backed up regularly, so I'm feeling much more confident about my archive.

Amazing Digital Storage

What do you like best about the product?
For my business, I need to be able to connect releases to pictures and their expiration dates. With Canto, I can easily connect releases to images. I receive notice when an image or release expires so that I can renew the release if necessary. Canto has made my work SO much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest complaint is that there is no app for Android phones. Half of my colleagues use iPhones, and the other half use Androids. Putting an app on all employee phones would make photo sharing so much easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solves my storage issue and my ease of finding images. With the facial recognition it is super easy to find what I am looking for.

What do you like best about the product?
Canto has a ton of features while still being affordable. The AI visual search is great, and the platform has been great at streamlining our asset workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
Additional user seats are somewhat expensive, which can quickly add cost for larger teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As our firm has grown, we quickly saw a need for better creative workflow, brand asset approval and digital asset management within the marketing team and across the firm. Canto has helped us keep approved assets up to date while streamlining the creation of new ones.

Excellent data asset management application

What do you like best about the product?
CANTO has helped us organize and FIND the images in our media library. The facial recognition is a remarkable tool and it cuts down on time trying to find the right person. Also the tagging makes it an invaluable tool for categorizing images for search results. Folders and albums are intuitive and the ability to share an album w/out the receiver needing a CANTO login helped our community have access to the images they need.
What do you dislike about the product?
After the clicking on a photo fro a search results you can't go back to the search results listing. It jumps from the chosen image preview to the main directory and not the search results. You have to do the search all over again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to find the subject needed for an image with facial recognition. And the ability to share stand alone albums to our community w/out access to the whole image directory.

Solid DAM System

What do you like best about the product?
Canto is great at being exactly what it wants to be - a DAM system. So many solutions out there are trying to be everything to everyone - but Canto stays in its lane. It's easy to use, easy to set up, and the pricing is reasonable for lots of end users, and a solid handful of Admins.
What do you dislike about the product?
While it's easy to use...I find that if I haven't been in the system for a few weeks, I forget how to do certain things. We've only been on the system for a few months now - so I'm guessing this is more due to being somewhat new to using the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were managing all of our images on a Shared drive. It was very difficult to search. And required our employees to email their event images to our email box (which constantly filled up our email server space). Now our employees can directly load their pictures to Canto - and the pictures can be accessed by our marketing agency, and other third-party freelancers.

Amazing AI search features!

What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely love the AI search features and capabilities of Canto! It has been so easy to locate different types of creative and images for our marketing campaigns all but a quick search of what we are looking for. Historically, we were manually flipping through our photo albums of 1000+ images to find the perfect/one image that fit a specific description. I utilize Canva quite a bit with our email marketing and social media creative, so the seamless integration there has been amazing.

Also, our rep that has been helping with the set up and integration of the software has been amazing and super responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that Canto had more friendly functionality with share the upload links with external clients.

For example, we need to collect all of our external customers logos to display on our site, I wish that we could share one general link with them (that isn't tied to my email) that they can use to upload and files while not being able to view any other uploaded files from other clients.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canto has been amazing in storing all of our event photos and keeping them organized, while also keeping the most up to date version of that asset. There are times that we need to photoshop or change something about an image, so it's nice that "source of truth" always lives in Canto.
