Construction Company Fleet Maintenance Management

What do you like best about the product?
MaintainX has been a key tool for our fleet maintenance management. MaintainX allows our mechanics to track maintenance on vehicles and equipment easily. They are on the go and need to access information on the fly. The program is user friendly and we were running it live in no time. With their great support team, we were able to bulk upload records and information with little to no manual entry. Highly recommend!
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything I dislike about MaintainX. There are many features that we have not taken advantage of yet. I look forward to implementing more features!!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accessing information in the field. Tracking maintenance, scheduling preventative maintenance, keeping our mechanics organized. This results in less calls from our mechanics to the office to dig up information on prior repairs. Our Superintendents know what the mechanics are working on or what has fallen through the cracks.

What do you like best about the product?
Again, the app is very straight forward, my team has been able to learn it quickly, which has benefited as its used daily.
Still learning the full extend of its capabilities, so far it has achieved to tick every box.
The Admin team were very supportive with the switch over/implementation of Maintain X, they were able to copy our existing assets from Fiix and transfer them over.
I wasn't directly involved with the implementation, however my involvement has escalated recently, Morgan Prior has been very supportive since and been able to answer any questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like the system, as with any its just finding your way around. No concerns
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are quickly able to complete Permit to Works and assign work order, being able to quickly digitise documents has made tracking and traceability easier.

Daily checks / Meter readings of both Mobile plant and machinery has vastly improved

What do you like best about the product?
MaintainX is intuitive and easy to adopt, even for teams who aren’t tech-savvy. The mobile and desktop interfaces are straightforward and easy to use. The AI tools for building preventive maintenance tasks are a game changer; this was a deciding factor for me. This saved us hours during implementation. I also appreciate how customizable the system is to fit our workflows.
MaintainX helps us centralize all maintenance activities, including PMs, demand work orders, assets, vendors, and parts, into one system that's accessible on the go. QR codes make it easy to access machine histories, and labor tracking enables us to understand how time is being spent. The visibility and accountability it creates across our maintenance team are huge benefits. Their customer support has also been quick, knowledgeable, and responsive throughout the onboarding process.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s a learning curve with some of the more advanced reporting and dashboard features, and a few features, such as bulk editing or custom fields for parts, could be more flexible. Also, syncing between mobile and desktop can occasionally lag if connectivity is poor, but that’s a minor issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MaintainX has helped us replace an outdated CMMS (Hippo) with a more efficient, mobile-first platform that works for both our machine maintenance and facilities teams. Before MaintainX, we struggled with inconsistent documentation, limited visibility into labor hours, and difficulty keeping up with PMs across dozens of CNC machines. Now, technicians can access and complete work orders from iPads on the shop floor, log time, attach photos, and use QR codes to pull up asset histories in seconds. This has improved accountability, made it easier to identify recurring issues, and allowed us to start measuring technician efficiency. We’re also beginning to build out our parts and meter tracking, which will make preventive and predictive maintenance even more effective in the long run.

What do you like best about the product?
MaintainX is a powerful and flexible CMMS that has a vast array of features that a skilled maintenance planner or manager can exercise to drive asset health and organizational growth through data driven decisions. With the ability to manage your assets, documents, preventative/reactive maintenance, spares, etc - all in one place - it really makes the work for a technician's life much easier, as you can have everything "In one place". It's also really great how receptive the MaintainX team is to feedback about opportunities to improve their system with new features or options - they are always looking to continue to feedback loop, take advantage of it!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some modules within MaintainX, such as the spare parts inventory tracking, are not fully fleshed out like the bulk of the asset tracking and work order tracking. This isn't a bad thing necessarily, as the team with MaintainX is still growing and improving on these newer modules, but it is worth noting that as this software grows and matures, the modules within it will grow and mature as well, and that they are not all in that "perfect" state right out of the gate.

What do you like best about the product?
The best feature about MaintainX is the flexibility in application. We have everyone from boat captains, truck drivers, to general labour staff using the system effectively on a daily basis.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was difficult to import history from the previous MMS and therefore some equipment and system information and history has been lost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MaintainX is helping move away from paper-based or email-based tracking and management to a cloud-based system. It is also allowing leadership and executive to view key metrics through the reporting features.

Easy to use and great customer support

What do you like best about the product?
For a small to mid size organisation, the implementation was easy and allows employees out on the field to access the data and update information in real time. The customer support have been brilliant.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have found the import templates a little clunky and would prefer deeper customization and reporting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MaintainX is facilitating decisions around our business strategies, making accurate financial forecasting, maximizing our asset value, and improving our customer satisfaction.

What do you like best about the product?
The reports it can generate are incredibly helpful, and the ability to upload my old work procedures and have them re-written and cleaned up by the AI generation system was so easy and saved so much time. I love how modern it feels and just how many smaller useful things that are integrated into the system that I now use daily. The team we were assigned to help standardized our Maintain X system were amazing and so helpful. they Helped implement the system to suit the requirements we needed for our site and being a digital system that can be used from a mobile device or tablet has meant integrating the system with the guys on the shop floor seamless. Would highly recommend downloading the free demo and having a look if your CMMS system feels out of date or if you are looking for something to help track your assets and streamline your maintenance.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only dislike i have is contractor management could be better but there are solutions to get around this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to track asset downtime, which in turn we can then apply our time to help fix the important issues that are causing the most down time. The report system auto generates paretos automatically which helps drive the need for maintenance or help justify the need for more people or better equipment. The metering system in Maintain X is also helping keep track or important data and also automatically generates and tracks these readings on a graph making it very visual and easy to see changes.
