Maze saved my capstone project
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to import my Figma prototype to Maze. The report is so detailed, very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I understand why making changes to your usability testing project after it was published is not allowed, but at the same time, I really want it to work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am doing my capstone project on redesigning a website.

If I update and add a new screen to the prototype, it's not updated in Maze and I need to start from the beginning

Great UX, would recommend for small businesses
What do you like best about the product?
Maze makes it very simple to set up a test and allows you to set a "happy path" to measure how easily users can make it through a flow. A lot of data that I've had to manually deduce in the past is done for you in the testing report, which is a nice thing to send to my boss when I'm validating design decisions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Before Maze, I was a designer for a larger company, and we used Usertesting.com. While both these products allow you to publish online tests, their features are very different. Maze is great for hands-off testing where you need more quantitative data than qualitative. The one feature I've found myself missing from UT is that they record the user's screen and voice, and I think you can learn a lot about usability from watching someone stumble through a flow.
I think Maze is still building out some of its advanced features. They don't have many demographic options to select a user base from (though it says more are coming soon,) and I'd really like to have an A/B testing feature that randomizes which flow a user sees first.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We mainly use Maze to conduct usability tests and validate design decisions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's inexpensive compared to other products for user testing. Give it a shot and run a few tests; you might be surprised by how easy it is to set up. Make sure you set up indirect paths to success, or it may make it seem harder to get through than it is.

We worked first without a UX designer, and we fond that out user had issues to use our software.
After we hired a great UX Designer, we made the same test and it prouve to everyone here the importance of a great UX design !
Our software is still used more and more today and our customers are delighted!

What do you like best about the product?

I hate how Maze only accepts prototypes from Figma, and I WISH I could use live sites to test on there

Drive users to make better decisions, quicker, on a virtual tabletop application

Range of methodolgies on offer, and how easy it is to set up any type test. The reports make analysis and sharing of findings very easy, saving a lot of time and helping engage stakeholders

Lack of ability to restrict a test to a certain number of testers when using your own. Lack of pricing tiers, jumping straight to 'enterprise'

Usability validation on all designs, as well as upfront user research to help drive discovery and frame problems. Maze has allowed us to objectify design decisions and bring the user into the heart of our design process

What do you like best about the product?
the ability to see click throughs and heatmaps without releasing the product a.k.a at the wireframe stage is very helpful to make the decision.
What do you dislike about the product?
Concept of multiple blocks under single project seems very confusing as it requires users to relook at the youtube videos again and again. if someone wants to test two variants of same design, they try making two different projects rather than one project and multiple blocks

major problem that we are solving is remote usability testing in the pandemic times
We are using maze not only as a user research platform but also as a training platform amazing

It's very intuitive to use, it's everything we need to receive feedback from the people we are training, it allows us to communicate and explain complex terms and process in a simple way
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it refreshes on its own, and i lose the last change I made to the prototype and sometimes on the content creation side, it gets really slow, another thing to take into account to make it better is to have maybe a search bar to look for the prototypes more easily, everything else is excellent!

What do you like best about the product?
You can link to your Figma prototype and ask users to complete tasks or just ask for their opinions. There are many kinds of questions to get feedback on prototypes.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some bugs and sometimes it takes a lot of time to load the prototype.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By using Maze, we can validate our prototype easily.
