Trusted , Secure , full featured, and rock solid hosted FTP solution
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and ability to not worry about hosting our own FTP and all of the technical details for security that need to be monitored as ExaVault handles it all.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only issue is one likely most do not have and that is lack of the ability to more easily handle bulk deleting of large numbers of files. And most likely this is a need unique to us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need a stable and secure FTP server that is easy to create multiple new accounts and they provide that for us. We are also able to integrate our own domain for the FTP to our customers.

What do you like best about the product?
There are times when you need to upload via FTP SFTP or some other protocol and also want a web front end that supports shared folders, drop folders for people to upload files, and many other features that make Exavault unique.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you need a file sync type of product, this isn't for you.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Giving clients many different ways to upload assets to us using 1 product Exavault
Rock solid SFTP and excellent API
What do you like best about the product?
I have been able to automate and schedule many tasks by using the API and C#. ExaVault documentation and support have been outstanding.
What do you dislike about the product?
We haven't had any issues, and we have been a client for over two years now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a reliable FTP provider to securely share documents with clients. More importantly, we needed to automate this process and the ExaVault API has worked perfectly. The ability to allowlist IPs/hosts and require two-factor authentication for users are both critical features ExaVault provides.
Best virtual FTP.
What do you like best about the product?
The system is user-friendly and straightforward to use. I have been able to set users up in minutes without the need for in-depth training.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if one could reactivate an expired link to a file that was previously sent to someone. Also, it would be great if we could activate 2-step authentication to confirm the identification of recipients of files.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to transfer large files to clients and receive a confirmation when the files have been accessed.

I haven't run into any issues with the software. The solution is fully featured. It could be better by lowering costs of the service.

Easy to set up the account, share with customers and colleagues.

Price is a bit when we switched from the free to paid version.

What do you like best about the product?
We had to migrate away from on-prem FTP. This product met our security requirements in a fast, secure and easy to use way.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing we dislike about Exavault. It's been stable and we have had zero downtime since using the product.

It allowed us to sunset our on-prem solution, which simplifies our IT overhead and time spent securing and supporting this needed feature at our company

What do you like best about the product?
I like GUI to configure and automatically backup data and folders on my PC, add precise configuration code on web page through widgets and whitelist and blacklist users.

I don't like to configure all automatic backup and storage managers with terms at first.

Storage of important server and user data, synchronized folders and data with redundancy.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about this software is the well-crafted system, there are no issues with security, it's smooth, and I can transfer multiple files regardless of weight. I automate backups from time to time to have a safe backup.
What do you dislike about the product?
It should have internal guides so users can look at the tools in greater detail, this would make a noticeable positive change.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was always the first option to start the transfer via FTP of confidential files and high content range, it is simple and the server is very secure. Projects and budgets are the main elements that were automated to be supported.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You should buy it if you have server problems when backing up files, safe and reliable are also features that motivate you to buy it.
Merged into files.com - Exavault has reached end of life.
What do you like best about the product?
Exavault is a competitively priced alternative to files.com. Unfortunately, ExaVault will be merged into files.com in the coming months. If you sign up to ExaVault while they are still accepting members, you might get a discount when migrating to files.com.
What do you dislike about the product?
Exavault is merging into files.com. Signups will be disabled in 2022 and all users will be forced to migrate to files.com in the coming year(s). This means pricing will go up for all ExaVault users and APIs will be forced to change.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provide a customizable FTP solution.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The best reason to sign up to ExaVault at the moment is to use this as leverage to get a better-priced contract with files.com.
