Straight Forward File hosting
What do you like best about the product?
Uses my company's branding. Also can use FTP software such as FileZilla
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike. It is easy to use and had a variety of pricing options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use very large files for doing high-resolution VR projects.

We are using the service as an SFTP site and shared the files between our clients and us.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
ExaVault is good for most of the SFTP requirements and the cost on that is much lower than the other competitors.

What do you like best about the product?
-Powerful API features and webhooks to automatically capture and process new file uploads.

What do you dislike about the product?
-Lots of service outages during normal business hours without advance notice which has created a lot of headaches for us, especially within the last 6 months or so.
-We had to re-write a lot of API calls due to notice late last year of the deprecation of their previous API version only to later find out that they decided to postpone the deprecation of the previous version of their API, which was super frustrating. Why deprecate old API versions, when you can just stop supporting them instead?

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
-API allows us to automatically create FTP users and corresponding folders to easily automate client account setup for file import and export automations, saving us time and dev costs.
-Webhooks allow us to automatically receive notice of new file uploads so that we don't have to constantly poll for new files.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look closely at your uptime requirements and SLAs. ExaVault is a great service, but I have experienced multiple interruptions of service, especially in the recent year or so, which might not be acceptable for some organizations.
Good FTP Site
What do you like best about the product?
The system is very user friendly. There is no big learning curve.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't run into any issues at present.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The FTP site makes it simple for us to share large file sizes and a large number of files at one time. Way more than we can share via email.

Moving files across multiple remote locations has become so easy. It's reduced our transfer time on both sides!
Used for years. Cost Increases Have Caused Me To Re-Consider

The ability to securely transfer files through an interface, FTP, or an API allows us to use Exavault for a very diverse set of circumstances

Have been using this software since 2017 and the price has increased from $20/mo to $499/mo

Some customers or partners are more comfortable with FTP instead of pure integrations. This allows them a gateway in while we can still automate using the API

I can no longer recommend this service for the cost
Top notch product, excellent support
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact it is easy to use cloud-storage that also has file system features and an in-built sftp client. The customer support has always been helpful too.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish we could burst through our storage limit and perhaps pay a premium for that flexibility rather than it being a hard cap.

It is an easy-to-use cloud-storage service with very simple provisioning and permissions features.

So much simpler than Google Cloud / AWS S3.
Flawlessly Easy
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how simple the platform is to use, everything is self-explanatory! we use the multiple user's features with multiple shared folders with restrictions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am having a hard time thinking of something that I dislike about this product. I have not had any issues using this product. No improvements are needed based on how we use it

This product is helping us with receiving and sending secured data between our networks. we feel this is much safer and more efficient than previous products that we have used

Simplicity. Easy to use as it is just almost plugged and played.

Nothing. It fits really well our use-case.

Great SFTP, FTP and File Transfer Site
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of Use, very easy to use and set up ExaVault from the beginning, from branding to setting up FTP or SFTP connections. Have set up connections between on-prem systems as well as cloud-based programs. Security is good so i can use this for some of the backups of data from cloud-based programs.
What do you dislike about the product?
storage space starting off is small they do offer a wide range of options but go ahead and just get what you need from the beginning, i did not and had to go back and make changes. Not hard just time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cloud-based backup and off-site storage. We are using exavault for offsite backups. We use it for larger file transfers between us and our clients, and vendors.
