What do you like best about the product?
Sharing reviews for tools I use at work and for personal use is incredibly easy, particularly due to the streamlined interface and the structured organization of questions and ratings.
What do you dislike about the product?
The variety of products and services reviewed could be larger
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can share my experiences with the tools I use every day with others who might be considering using them, and compare and contrast tools I'm considering using in the future.

All reviews submitted by users are reviewed by G2 before being posted, which greatly contributes to their trustworthiness.

What do you like best about the product?
G2 is an essential part of our sales process. The buyer intent notifications are awesome in helping us identify warm leads to reach out to.

Once they're in an evaluation with us, we direct them to the grids we're on as well our product page itself. This is HUGE in establish credibility. Potential buyers are able to see real, validated third-party reviews so they know their peers think we're as awesome as we say we are.
What do you dislike about the product?
Buyer intent notifications are sent once every day at 5pm, and it's my understanding this cannot be changed.

It'd be nice if I were able to customize the time and frequency at which I receive these reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our BDRs are able to identify leads who are potentially searching for a solution.

Our Account Executives are able to box out competitors by providing proof that real-users rank us higher.

Ultimately, we close more deals because of this.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The customer service they provide is impeccable.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that G2's process is simple and straightforward. It takes a few minutes to complete reviews which helps give the appropriate feedback to the clients so they can better meet their customers needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that some of the questions are repetitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps to really think about the likes, dislikes and what solutions can be suggested to the provider of the services that I utilize.

What do you like best about the product?
The thing which I like the most about the site is that I can get help directly from a lot of people's reviews . This site could be used as a software consulting tool for my business and for uplifting my upcoming ideas.
What do you dislike about the product?
Though everything included in this site is best , from ideas to customer service and to user's reviews on other platforms and forums which I found while investigating about this site , but still I think the interface of this site can be improved a bit and also when I was using this site from my mobile, I was facing some problems because of the interface.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I started using this site and adopted the ideas and reviews which I got from user's reviews provided on this site and now I am intending to use this site to short out my problems about what video editing software should I choose and also what ide softwares I should use to do further Programming for my upcoming applications.

Help Others Find the Software Solutions They Need

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that the platform is easy to use, thorough, but sensitive to your time. If it took an hour to respond, there would be far less feedback and the community would have less value to those looking for solutions. Simultaneously. the platform requires quality feedback a QC measure that I know I appreciate as a user.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike. Promised rewards are delivered in a timely fashion. You have many choices of privacy settings so you can exercise some control over your words. I am concerned that a couple of times I have been called away in the midst of a review, and the platform appears to think I'm a new user when I return, even though I use the same email address and LinkedIn account. I'm afraid that will be perceived as an attempt to circumvent the system and leave more reviews than requested. Otherwise, it is one of the more professional review sites that I have encountered both as a reviewer and a user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Well, it's a review platform, so the benefit is being rewarded for contributing feedback. But I have also discovered a source that I can use when I am writing articles that evaluate software for different industries, as well as the place I'll definitely go next time I personally need a software solution.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Professionals with software experience, contributing to G2 via the Review Platform is a no-brainer.

And to the G2 team - I have passed on your emails specifically because of their cheeky tone - I love the communications! How often can you say that about email marketing?

Great intent signals

What do you like best about the product?
We like the intent signals that we see when companies search for us or our category. On-boarding was great and our account rep was excellent, patient and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
the interfaces is a little "homebrew" - getting to admin center is a little clunky. Price performance is still a bit of a question particularly in the long-term.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding which target accounts are in search mode. Also building our reputational infrastructure. The optics on becoming a leader in a category are great as well. Good ammunition for sales outreach.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
G2 has it together more than a number of other reputational vendors. They know the value of intent signals and integrating them into the CRM. They seem to be making the right strategic moves - although the UX could use some help.

What do you like best about the product?
Service was great, they walked us through the entire set up. Kept sending reminders that we needed to continue setting up profile to be successful.

Nothing at this point that I dislike!!!!

What do you like best about the product?
Appreciated our representatives' thorough and speedy answers to our questions. The walk-throughs were always pleasant and informative. Big shout-out to our implementation specialist Peter who held our hands through the whole process. We've been pleasantly surprised by the depth of both the platform and the enablement flow. Everyone on the G2 side has also been refreshingly transparent about their capabilities and their roadmap.
What do you dislike about the product?
Barring a few bugs in the reference sheets tool, G2 has delivered so far on everything we've been promised. Not much to talk about in the realm of dislikes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using G2 as a hub for our accolades and as a mid-funnel showcase for our prospects that our researching our industry-leading platform. We've been pleasantly surprised by G2's collateral use cases, and are testing out things like reference sheets and comparison page links in-market.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Finding immediate ROI by investing in G2 makes sense for software companies with a larger deal size, but I can see it being a hard sell for companies dealing more with SMB/ mid-sized clients. The collateral benefits are really positioned for impressing enterprise accounts.
