Great Experience and Exposure
What do you like best about the product?
The team really knew what we needed to accomplish and worked with us every step of the way to ensure we met our review goals.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is really nothing I can say I dislike at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted to have a third party site help generate accurate reviews of our technology and provide user experience reviews. It's one thing to market the results and it is another to have satisfied clients speak on your behalf. We feel like we've achieved this through G2 Crowd.
Customer Service Never Responds, Never Deliver Rewards
What do you like best about the product?
I would like G2Crowd much better if they 1) delivered promised Gift Cards they dangle out as a false advertising lure to receive reviews and 2) if they actually responded to user inquiries.
What do you dislike about the product?
False advertising. Failure to respond to ANY user inquiries via any of methods for communication - even after 5 months of attempting to get a response.
Continually advertising gift cards as a reward for reviews (which in and of itself seems like "buying" them), and then not just failing to deliver, but continued to spam every few days with more such offers to those who have reported their failure to deliver.

Don't waste time believing the offer of Gift Cards for reviews, or waiting on a response from customer service.
Great tool for research
What do you like best about the product?
This tool provides almost everything that you need when you are researching and trying to see what your competitiors are doing. Its a must-have for every marketing researcher.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some informations about companies are not full, and sometimes there are not enough to compare solutions with each other correctly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped me with competitors research for a big event in foreign country.
G2 Marketing is the Most Reliable Reviewer on the Market
What do you like best about the product?
G2 is a best-of-industry service that provides an awesome review of enterprise products and services. It will save you at least half the time you would invest discovering this information on your own.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times there's too much data but that's easily solved by time and patience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've realized that I'm not using my SME's for searching/recommendations, rather I'm qualifying my SMEs based on the products and services G2 recommends.
Love the grid map to compare software products
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part of G2Crowd is the grid map for different categories of software. It reminds me of the Gartner Magic Quadrants.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that it's sometime hard to pick the correct category for software because some products are multifunctional.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to search for different software products that I may be interested in for marketing technology.
Easy to Manage and Great Support
What do you like best about the product?
It's straightforward and easy to manage. The admin console for product pages is simple to use. There are a lot of great tools to leverage across marketing content and campaigns. And certainly not least, everyone in the company benefits from hearing directly from customers about what is and is not working for them.

I would like to be able to collect more customized data.

Problems: cutting the red tape of getting customers on the record; validating customer testimonials; SEO; collecting unbiased customer feedback; creating meaningful, high-quality content for brand and product validation.

Cast a wide net with your reviews. Get real feedback that prospects can trust and can help you understand where you are strong and where you can improve.
One of the best peer review sites for B2B SaaS solutions
What do you like best about the product?
G2 Crowd provided the best onboarding experience compared to some of the other peer review sites I have used. Our dedicated account manager and implementation specialist worked with us through every step ensuring that we were leveraging all that G2 Crowd has to offer.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not possible to download all the customer reviews for further processing. There is a paid product that gives you additional insights but it doesn't directly provide an easy export option for all reviews either.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many, if not most, business users tend to check what their peers are saying about the solutions they are investigating. The voice of customers is more authenticate than vendor boasting about themselves. G2 Crowd provides an additional outlet for our customers to share their experience about our platform with us and the world. We have learned a lot about what customers like and dislike about our product. Our sales team has been able to leverage the product reviews as a tool during the sales cycle.

G2 Crowd offers fantastic support during the initial rollout and provides some of the best options for leveraging the customer reviews in your future marketing and sales efforts. Definitely check them out.

The peristance of the team to help my company acheive their objectives. G2 Crowd well unnderstands their roll and makes it their business to undersatand the product line(s) of their custoemrs.

Lead generation is probably G2 Crowd's weakest link.

We've been able to help raise awareness by socializing some of the great reviews we've recieved through G2 Crowd.

What do you like best about the product?
G2 Crowd rankings are based on reviews from verified customers who actually use the product - as opposed to subjective assessments from industry commentators. Also, G2 Crowd is becoming a trusted brand built on integrity rather than other sites which are susceptible to fake reviews.
What do you dislike about the product?
The criteria/logic for ranking competitors is not clear. Tiny players with hardly any reviews can appear to rank equally with much bigger players with hundreds of reviews. Also, would like to see more aggressive PR push of the category reports and strong SEO/SEM promotion to drive lead generation.

Build a systematic process to generate customer reviews - ideally triggered by real time customer feedback process built around NPS. We can help :)

It can seem like there is a lot happening in the platform initially which can make self-implementation a cumbersome process.

Do not get baffled by the extensivity of this platform. It takes a little time to get used to, but once that's taken care off, it's a strong solution for B2B software.
