It has cut down the time to get items completed, and it is nice to be able to send reminders to our clients to sign documents.
I use Dropbox Sign for internal contracts such as those with employees, NDAs, and many others, as well as contracts for our clients and talent we collaborate with on a regular basis. Our HR team and marketing team use it the most, and we have found that Dropbox Sign is the easiest way to organize all documents and users in one central location.
Dropbox Sign works best for sending out pre-made documents or contracts that need a binding signature. It also works well for storing templates of documents that need to be used more than once and saving time through reusing the templates. Dropbox Sign ensures that clients and team members collaborate even in remote areas or on the go, using features like the robust and intuitive mobile app.

Digital signatures have transformed contract workflows and now save us time and paper daily
What is our primary use case?
My main use case for Dropbox Sign is that it has made my life very easy. I used Dropbox Sign to make getting contracts signed so much easier. We purchased Dropbox Sign to be able to send clients digital contracts and capture their signatures. Previously, they had to print, sign, and scan and send it back to me. I often did not get fully executed contracts. Now that I use Dropbox Sign, I simply pull up the Google Doc, use the Dropbox Sign extension to send it to the client. They sign easily and return, and I sign and send a final contract to them. Dropbox Sign keeps copies of all my fully executed contracts by date, but I can also download and store them myself in my own clients' files. It is safe, secure, affordable, and easy to use.
I would add that we are able to send lease waivers and franchise documents through Dropbox Sign that require multiple signatures from different groups of people at the same time. This has reduced the timing on getting documents back and fully executed tremendously. It allows our company to be more efficient by storing the templates as well for later use.
What is most valuable?
The best features Dropbox Sign offers are that it saves time with getting documents back signed. It allows multiple parties to sign documents simultaneously. It is more professional looking with brand standards. Also, email signature, document tracking, document storage, and templates which are time-saving because we are able to use them over and over again. It integrates with Google tools. You do not have to format the document again or set up the document again. The documents and contracts are signed quickly, while saving time for our recipients, who are our clients, and also our employees have been able to save time. It also saves on paper and mail. There is no need for faxing.
I can say that the 50% time savings has enabled us to focus on more strategic tasks, hence increasing productivity. It has also been much easier for our clients because they can work with Dropbox Sign using their mobile phone. They are able to sign the document wherever they are as long as they are connected to the internet. I appreciate how Dropbox Sign provides a central storage point for all employee onboarding records. It improves efficiency in collecting and completing onboarding processes. It improves efficiency in the timeline and ease of use for clients and client contracts.
What needs improvement?
I believe that so far, so good regarding improvements. I do not think I have much of an issue to highlight. Just two or three things would help: allow editing of documents that have not been signed by any signer yet and save and reuse for the same signers, not just duplicate the template. That would be great. Also, sometimes, a link to Google Drive to store the files more easily would be good. It should be easier.

I have been using Dropbox Sign for four to five years, to be precise.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
I can confirm that Dropbox Sign is very stable, with no downtime and no lagging.

Digital signatures have streamlined hiring and protected sensitive documents across our workflow
What is our primary use case?
My main use case for Dropbox Sign is that we take sensitive information very seriously, and by using Dropbox Sign, we are able to store documents safely. New hires are able to fill out new hire forms anytime, anywhere. Electronic forms and e-signatures ensure forms are completed before submission, which decreases the likelihood of an error. Dropbox Sign has made our onboarding process smooth and easy.
A quick specific example of how I use Dropbox Sign in my onboarding process is that when taking on new hires or training new hires, they are able to sign the forms that we send them through Dropbox Sign. They are able to open their mobile app, sign, and fill out everything. We are able to guide them from start to finish. Our focus is not just on what is easy for us, but also on what works best for our clients and their employees. We love keeping things efficient, simple, and stress-free. Using Dropbox Sign electronic forms has helped us accomplish that significantly.

It is very user-friendly, even to people who have never used electronic forms.
Dropbox Sign has a clean user interface and is very user-friendly with ease of use. It is easy to build templates.
Dropbox Sign has positively impacted my organization since we started using this tool. Everything has been positive. We have seen less time handling or directing people to sign documents. It has increased production by having contracts signed electronically. There is cost savings by not having to print paper and use ink, which is very expensive.

I would say customer support is relatively great because they are able to respond to our queries, despite sometimes taking a lot of time to respond. Overall, they are great.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
Previously, I used DocuSign. The reason why I switched is that the functionality, despite being very similar, DocuSign is costlier. It has some more robust settings, which makes it a bit complicated. Customer support is also a bit less robust compared to DocuSign.
How was the initial setup?
My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing is that the pricing was very affordable and pocket-friendly. Setting it up was straightforward with no major hassle.

In terms of metrics related to time saved or cost savings since I started using Dropbox Sign, I estimate around forty to fifty percent cost savings. Time savings are around thirty to forty-five percent.

Reliable Syncing and User-Friendly, But Pricey
What do you like best about the product?
I find Dropbox incredibly reliable and user-friendly as a cloud storage platform, with seamless file synchronization across multiple devices. Its simple interface makes navigating easy, and I love how fast and hassle-free it is to upload and share files via links. The automatic sync feature is fantastic, keeping everything up to date without extra steps. I also appreciate how it supports collaboration, which is great for teams and remote work. The initial setup was super easy, taking just a few minutes, and the way the folder integrates automatically with the system allows me to start using it without any technical knowledge. I often use Dropbox alongside other tools like Google Docs and Slack, which helps make work smoother, and it effectively becomes a central hub for my files. Overall, Dropbox is a strong and dependable solution for me, especially when it comes to ease of use and secure file sharing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited free storage. The free plan only gives around 2GB, which fills up very quickly, especially if you store photos/videos. Expensive pricing. Compared to competitors, Dropbox can feel costly, especially when you need more storage. No flexible plans. There’s often a big jump from free to paid, with no mid-range option. Sync issues (sometimes). While generally reliable, users report sync errors or slow performance, especially with large files or folders. Interface can feel cluttered. The web version can feel a bit confusing or overloaded with features for some users. Collaboration tools not the best. Compared to tools like Google Drive, its built-in editing/collaboration features are less advanced. Security limitations (for advanced users). It doesn’t offer zero-knowledge encryption by default, which matters for privacy-focused users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox effortlessly syncs files across devices, offers easy access anywhere, and supports collaboration for teams. It's user-friendly with fast file-sharing and automatic updates, making it ideal for personal and professional use. However, limited free storage and higher pricing are downsides.
Digital signatures have transformed hiring and contracts and save time, travel, and paper waste
What is our primary use case?
My main use case for Dropbox Sign is that it has made life much easier and more convenient in the office, and the price was much more affordable than our previous tool, which was DocuSign. The only time it has not worked well has been with clients who do not have access to email, which is pretty rare these days. If document edits are required, it can be somewhat inconvenient to have to delete the old file, restart the submission, and sometimes have the client complain the link will not work because they are using the previous email.
Currently, I use Dropbox Sign for the new hire application process with our HR department. This saves internal personnel time by having the application link directly available from our website. The new hire candidate simply clicks, fills in, and electronically signs the application. When the application is signed, we receive a link back to the completed document. It has also eliminated the need for long lead times, mailing paper documents, post office delays, printer issues, and many other obstacles.
Dropbox Sign makes it really easy to collect a signature and other pertinent information from both our employees, vendors, and new hires when processing their paperwork. I also utilize a contract with my clients so expectations are clear. Dropbox Sign helps me show them the final contract to be signed while keeping paper waste down. I love the ability to upload my documents, and I especially appreciate being informed once it is signed and even when the client has looked at it.
What is most valuable?
Dropbox Sign's best features are that it is easy to sign documents, easy to upload documents, easy to send, and easy to use. Additionally, it is easy to navigate, easy to seamlessly integrate, and can get multiple signatories on the same document, which is time-saving. There are also reminders for the document status.
Dropbox Sign has positively impacted my organization by providing a central storage point for all employees' onboarding records. It improves efficiency in collecting and completing onboarding and also improves efficiency in timeline and ease of use for client contracts. I have seen faster time to contract signature and earlier completion of employee onboarding. I have been able to save 60 to 70% of my time, especially because there is no meeting with the client to sign documents. I have also been able to cut costs by 30%, with no traveling costs.
What needs improvement?
One of the areas that I would love Dropbox Sign to improve is when it comes to template use. It is already difficult to use for the same document or to have multiple users each sign an individual document. Sending multiple documents to a single user is also very difficult. I think there is considerable room for improvement in the current state of the app, and redesigning would be best, especially when dealing with templates and document workflows.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using Dropbox Sign for seven years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
Dropbox Sign is very stable, and I have not experienced any lagging or downtime.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
According to my own experience, Dropbox Sign's scalability is very good. I am able to send one contract and have multiple signatories, and it works very well.
How are customer service and support?
Dropbox Sign's customer support is perfect, very unparalleled, supportive, and professional.
How would you rate customer service and support?

It is very cost-effective and easy to use. The setup was straightforward with the help of customer support, which is very proactive and responsive 24/7.
What was our ROI?
I have seen a return on investment as I save paper, hence conserving the environment. It is easy to use and legitimate, making documents look very professional. Dropbox Sign offers a communication tool between my clients and me, hence promoting collaboration. It saves a lot of time and cost since there are no traveling costs.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
Before choosing Dropbox Sign, I evaluated other options such as Canva.

My advice to others looking into using Dropbox Sign is that it is perfect for any size of organization, whether small, medium, or large. It keeps contracts legit, paperless, and organized. Dropbox Sign is very easy to use, and the contract helps clarify the expectation goals of my services after our initial meeting. Dropbox Sign works very well for my organization and my personal needs, and it is very cost-effective. I would rate this review nine out of ten.
