Rocketlane rocks!
What do you like best about the product?
We document calls and any communication that has to happen during the course of a project. These spawn as chats instead of relying on emails. Clients are invited to a project portal.
What do you dislike about the product?
Updating several projects on their screen is possible but it can take time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Resource allocation and managing time for my customers. Sharing relevant documents like SOW with key stakeholders and collaborating with them.

What do you like best about the product?
I keep providing feedback to Rocketlane. They are on a journey where their tool will be the defacto choice for PS orgs. Your business needs to run on this software.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to cap non billable time per project. This can impact revenue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing projects for large clients and deploying them on time and budget. Allocating resources and responsible for getting their capacity right.
All in one tool for PSA
What do you like best about the product?
My day-to-day management of projects is done on the same tool that I use to perform resource management. Everything from sales integration, resource management, project management, estimation, time-tracking, invoicing and reporting on all of this happens on one platform. Eliminates the need to buy multiple tools
What do you dislike about the product?
Learning curve for Rocketlane was about 2-3 weeks. I wish they told me about their academy program sooner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All in one PSA tool used by my org to scale our business
Great project management tool for service based companies
What do you like best about the product?
Clearly outlining accountability on my customers and what is expected from them. Moreover, it enables effortless recognition of project profitability, eliminating the need to stitch this together on spreadsheets like we did before.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like the tool and do not have anything to add here.

Client accountability and showcasing where they are stuck in a project
Rocketlane provides lots of features and is user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
Tracks everything that we work on from many departments. It helps surface where our time is spent and what demand the business has from clients. The resource management is used to understand how many of our employees are busy during the current quarter!
What do you dislike about the product?
There's no easy way to find a project that I accidentally deleted. I have to reach out to support. But they are able to bring it back to life!

Resource allocation and a 20,000 feet overview of the business
Effective budget tracking
What do you like best about the product?
The gantt feature is useful in helping customers understand the timelines by which we deliver a project. Helped my agency set expectations appropriately.
What do you dislike about the product?
If there is a better way to nudge customers to finish their tasks, that would be great.

Onboarding new customers and showing them our progress on the portal
Time scheduling with Rocketlane
What do you like best about the product?
The scheduling time and resource planner features are quite useful. Although I'm not able to stick to my planned tasks, this tool helps me understand where I strayed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it would tell me where I focussed my time instead of planned work. That needs to be reported easily.

Task management and keeping reported items on track

What do you like best about the product?
We've made positive changes to our project management processes. Team collaboration through chat offers a more streamlined alternative to emails. Our departments now collaborate a lot better.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mention on chat takes time to sometimes. Nothing else I can think of.

Great tool with little weakness
What do you like best about the product?
We improved forecasting and effectively managed budgets against due dates for projects. Centralizing all time entry has significantly enhanced management of resources that work on important projects.

The timesheet approval flow could be faster

Time entry, planning and forecasting budget spend, project management.
Rocketlane - Winning resource management tool!
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that they keep asking users for feedback and continually evolve with it. Our capacity planning for projects happens on the tool. Revenue leakage is reduced by 40% post implementation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting for revenue takes a bit of effort to setup
