Really wonderful tool
What do you like best about the product?
We were running our requirements on a spreadsheet before Rocketlane. Our reporting was also done with documents and spreadsheet. Not anymore.
There are as many as 150 projects and dozens of tasks in all of them. Rocketlane manages them easily and allocates the right resources to them. This is all done with automation and little to no human intervention.

Nothing I dislike. I love the live chat support.

What do you like best about the product?
So many of our projects for very important customers are managed on Rocketlane.The UI and ease of use in the team is second to none. Rate cards and financials are related capabilities have been thought through before being implemented. It integrates seamlessly with tasks and projects.

When there are many rows and columns in resource management, it tends to be a little slow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Resourcing and keeping the team utilisation rate >90%

Easy to navigate and the support is great. Timesheet entry is easy to use.

So far the product is error free and good.

What do you like best about the product?
As a PS team we are rated based on the success of each project. The CSAT feature really helps us understand how we delivered and the satisfaction of the customer at the time of delivery.
Project structure is also very flexible and lets us bill by fixed time or materials. This was a key decision for us in our purchase of Rocketlane. We've been using the software for 3 years now and are very happy customers.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike. I like that time tracking is native in the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time tracking software that is also used to manage our resources. We report key metrics to management at the end of every month with their custom reporting.
Best project management platform

Our PS org is much more collaborative and our work has become before efficient

When it's the end of the month it can get a little slow since everyone tries to use it

Use by the team to manage resources and fill in time sheets
Perfect Onboarding Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Has made our onboarding process a lot more efficient and effective. Clients love having access to the project plan and have been impressed with how easy it to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
No downsides as such. They do have a lot of features so the intial set up was a little overwhelming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Rocketlane, our onboarding process was not as fluid and customers did not have any visibility on the progress of the project. Now they know exactly who is responsible for which task. Also the automated emails help keep everyone aware of the progress or delays in the project making the onboarding manager's job easier.
Great software for PM use cases
What do you like best about the product?
This is a great software to manage projects. While I did not make the decision to purchase it, I'm glad that someone did. It makes my life a lot easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool becomes slow if multiple tabs are open for over 2 weeks. Closing them helps.

What do you like best about the product?
Our clients check due dates and updates on the client portal. Files are centrally managed and checked for viruses by Rocketlane. It's a safe place to put your data.

A great tool that can be used in many orgs. No issues I can think of.

Beautiful client portal that's showcased to customers on a weekly basis
Integration review - Really excellent API
What do you like best about the product?
The system integration with Rocketlane went without a hitch. Really commendable API documentation that was very clear to follow. It was also very easy to try sample APIs to integrate with a project post rollout. Great job by their team.

I would like to see detailed API metrics on my own dashboard

Integration with other tools using flexible and open API

What do you like best about the product?
Customers are presented with reports and data on their projects that are only visible to them. The access control is useful for admins like me.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reports cannot be limited to certain groups of customers when viewed externally.
