Easy tool with top-notch customer service
What do you like best about the product?
As an LMS administrator, I highly recommend Skilljar for customer and partner education. The absolute highlight of the platform is their exceptional team; the onboarding process was incredibly structured and seamless, and their responsive, knowledgeable customer support acts as a true partner in our success. Day-to-day management is straightforward, making publishing courses and tracking analytics highly efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only minor drawback is that the platform's underlying architecture can be somewhat inflexible when dealing with highly complex, non-traditional workflows or custom content nesting. However, this is by no means a game-changer. The stability of the platform and their unmatched customer support far outweigh this limitation, making Skilljar an excellent, scalable choice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Skilljar has allowed us to seamlessly scale our global training initiatives by delivering a vast library of educational materials to clients worldwide. The platform makes it easy to organize and distribute content across different regions and time zones, transforming how we support and onboard our international clients at scale.
Simple, Customizable UI/UX—A Great Experience Overall
What do you like best about the product?
Simple, with a better UI/UX and more customization options.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far. The recent unsync issue has made me feel bad.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to solve my training in SCROM and to get tracking.
Intuitive Course Management with Excellent Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
I really like Skilljar by Gainsight for its analytics and integration with Salesforce, which weren't available in other platforms we looked at. The course management and asset management features are easy, and the user experience is simple, allowing people to log in quickly and start consuming content. The ability to share certificates on LinkedIn is a huge plus for us. It's great for incentivizing completion by letting users post their achievements on LinkedIn. I also appreciate the support from Skilljar Academy and the onboard manager, who was amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the only thing that I don't really fully understand yet is Skilljar only has one-way integration with Salesforce. We originally intended on having data flowing between both systems freely, without using middleware. But, yes, Skilljar cannot pass data from Salesforce back to Skilljar without using middleware.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Skilljar by Gainsight for Coralogix s academy, managing over 30 courses and learning paths. It offers simple course and asset management with an easy user experience. The integration with Salesforce and the platform's analytics are very helpful.
Straightforward, Consistent LMS with Helpful Support
What do you like best about the product?
It's straightforward to use, consistent. Has the standard LMS features we would expect. We have a great CSM who has been tremendously helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a bit expensive. Skilljar doesn't have all the integrations would like and pace of updates and improvements seems to have slowed. Parts of the system feel dated and don't offer the level of customization or visual appeal we would like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using Skilljar to host our onboarding content as well as provide longer form content to help users understand key concepts around our product and their jobs to be done.
Effortless Course Management, Powerful Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
I love the analytics feature of Skilljar by Gainsight. It's very simple to use, not just for us but for our customers too. They can easily track their users' progress through courses by using shared dashboards, which reduces the task of manually reporting every week or every 15 days. Now, customers can log in and see the live data, which is a significant benefit for us. This automation and simplicity are some of the main things we love about it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe the quiz management part is one thing where it can be improved, especially the question bank. Right now, if I have to create a quiz, I have to create the question banks first and then add them in a single place. If I could create it from that quiz page itself, it could save time and effort. Otherwise, I have to maintain two different windows, which can be a tedious process at times, so this can be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Skilljar by Gainsight solves course and student management issues with its analytics and report features. It allows us to track progress, manage courses across time zones easily, and eliminate the need for duplicate courses. Live trainings and real-time reporting enhance our efficiency.
Seamless Integrations and Measurable Impact with Skilljar
What do you like best about the product?
The primary upsides of using Skilljar by Gainsight as a customer education platform include its strong focus on customer and partner training, seamless integration with business systems like Salesforce, and a direct, measurable impact on key business metrics like retention and revenue.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main downsides of Skilljar center around its limited reporting and analytics, often requiring data exports for deep insights, and its need for technical skills (HTML/CSS/API) for significant customization, making non-coders feel restricted by its default design. Users also report manual processes for user/course management, basic email customization, and occasional slow or unhelpful support, alongside a clunky admin UI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Skilljar benefits businesses by providing a robust Learning Management System (LMS) focused on customer education, driving product adoption, boosting retention, and reducing support costs through scalable, personalized, on-demand training with deep analytics and integrations (like Salesforce). Key advantages include increased customer engagement via learning paths and certifications, monetization opportunities, consistent high-quality content delivery, automation for efficiency, and proving training ROI.
Streamlined Course Hosting, Needs Advanced Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Skilljar by Gainsight allows us to host all of our training material in one centralized location, which has significantly improved our ability to track course completions. Our customers enjoy the modern and clean interface, enhancing their overall experience. I appreciate the robust automation features which simplify setting up reminders, tracking progress, and generating certificates, making these processes seamless once configured. Furthermore, I value the customization options that let me tailor the entire portal to reflect our company’s brand, providing clients with a consistent training experience within our ecosystem. Overall, these features enhance user engagement and efficiency in managing training programs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the reporting capabilities of Skilljar by Gainsight to be limited. The basic features like who completed what and scores are available, but when I want to dig deeper or build custom reports, I hit a roadblock. This restriction necessitates exporting data to Excel, which is time-consuming. Additionally, the certification setup process was a bit complicated, despite the overall setup being straightforward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Skilljar by Gainsight to centralize training materials, simplify progress tracking, and automate certificate generation, enhancing user experience with a customizable, branded portal.

Seamless Learning Management for Customer Education
What do you like best about the product?
Skilljar provides a robust, intuitive platform that makes it incredibly easy to build, manage, and scale customer education programs. The interface is clean and user-friendly for both administrators and learners. I particularly appreciate the deep integration capabilities with CRMs (like Salesforce), SSO, and analytics tools, which makes tracking learner progress and linking it to business outcomes seamless. The ability to design customized learning paths, issue certifications, and use SCORM-compliant content without needing technical expertise is a major plus. Their customer support and onboarding teams are also exceptional.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the platform is powerful, some reporting functionalities feel limited without advanced configuration or external data tools. For instance, creating detailed custom reports requires exports and third-party tools, which could be streamlined within the native dashboard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Skilljar to onboard, train, and certify our customers at scale, reducing the manual burden on our Customer Success team. The platform has significantly improved our time-to-value for new customers, while also allowing us to maintain consistent education quality. With Skilljar, I have also been able to introduce on-demand enablement programs that support self-service and reduce support ticket volume.
