Valuable asset for our customer education program
What do you like best about the product?
-Clean and customizable user interface for learners
-Easy to create new and manage existing courses
-Data syncs back to Salesforce, making it easy for our CSMs to see which of their customer accounts are actively engaging with training

What do you dislike about the product?
-Admin user interface is not always intuitive. There are several settings that do not live where you'd think they would (i.e., course/publishing settings are often in two different places)
-Analytics dashboard is underwhelming, both in the data it provides and in the way it's presented (the data is not as "pretty" as their competitors')

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scale! We moved from a 1:1 training model where our CSMs trained each of their customers individually (including any one-off training for new employees at existing customers)
Being held back by support
What do you like best about the product?
That we could customize our solution, however, not without nuanses such as specific pages can only be customized by only becoming enterprise users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Communication was something that I felt like was the biggest negative. When it comes to Northpass building a custom solution you'd expect more communication but I felt like I was almost spamming them with things that they should look into rather than the other way around.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We haven't realized any benefits so far because, honestly, I see more negatives than positives so far.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure that you understand that in order to have a customized version of Northpass for your company it will require at least a month if not more to set it up.

What do you like best about the product?
Our experience of partnering with Northpass for our LMS has been excellent. It is a very user-friendly system, that allows us create exciting, informative and client-focused courses for those working in the Early Childhood Care and Education sector in Ireland. As well as Northpass being a great platform to work on, the level of support we have received has been excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is very little to dislike. Our users love the courses so much they would like their accreditation certificates and be bigger!!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can offer flexible learning where our users can learn at their own pace anywhere
We can update courses very quickly as legislation and guidelines change, giving us the leading edge
We can add new courses regularly, giving our users a diverse range of courses to choose from
We can respond quickly to changing times as we have full control over our learning platform and we don't have to rely on a third party for updates
We love that we can upload video which is very popular in our courses

Collaborative and Responsive, Northpass exceeds expectatons
What do you like best about the product?
The team is incredibly collaborative. Anything we asked of them, they partnered to try and make into a reality. Even if it wasn't possible, they looked for alternative ways of doing things. Outstanding customer service
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited functionality for content creation and reporting. We felt somewhat limited in what we could create for coursework and in reporting, the canned reports weren't as helpful as we needed them to be. The beta reports were promising but worked a bit slow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scaling our education resources beyong live trainings. We are not benefiting financially yet but that is more on us. We are more productive in terms of requiring our users to take pre courses before onboarding which helps to break up the time services is spent training our users.
Skilljar is great for your learning and certification needs
What do you like best about the product?
I love the simplicity and flexibility that the Skilljar LMS platform provides. It has allowed our team to create a simple and pleasant user experience for our customers across our eLearning, badging and certification programs. The team has also been incredible to work with, they are responsive and consistently provide exceptional customer, technical and product support to any issues, escalations, questions or concerns.
What do you dislike about the product?
As Skilljar continues to partner with certification-centric companies, I'd love to see how they can improve their course features, functionalities and capabilities It would be great to have more API / deep-linking integration options to support our certification, badging, assessments and exam delivery services.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team is currently focused on building new certifications and skilled badging programs to support the growing need for learning, which will increase the number of skilled customers in the marketplace.
Easy-to-use software, above-and-beyond support
What do you like best about the product?
I can't say enough good things about the people at Northpass. The sales team was incredibly responsive to our (somewhat unique) use case, and the customer success team has exceeded my expectations every step of the way. We've asked a lot of them, and they've consistently delivered. I truly believe that they are invested in our success, and it's such a relief knowing that I can count on them for seemingly anything. On top of all of this, the software itself is simple, user-friendly, and reliable. And I almost forgot: Love the HubSpot integration!
What do you dislike about the product?
The analytics module is a bit confusing. I'm sure I'll get the hang of it over time, but at first glance, it's a little difficult to figure out where you're supposed to go, how you can filter/segment the data, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using Northpass to deliver video-based, prospect-facing learning experiences. Thus far, the primary benefit is that we've been able to level up our thought leadership program without needing to invest in some crazy technical solution.
Northpass raised the standard in creating a customizable LMS.
What do you like best about the product?
The best part of working with Northpass is by far the people there. From day one I had constant support in the creation of my online academy, and in my opinion went above and beyond in making sure my ideas came to fruition.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some features that I would like to see in an LMS that are missing in Northpass, just minor technical functionalities that I feel one day NP will have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Northpass is allowing my company to reimagine how continuing education is distributed to those in healthcare. They have allowed us to create a modern platform that is user-friendly so that our learners can easily access and enjoy the content that will further their knowledge in wound care.
Excellent Onboarding Support
What do you like best about the product?
The Skilljar Implementation Specialist was very helpful and patient with the entire team, from main POC to our developers. The onboarding process was organized and easy to follow.
What do you dislike about the product?
While building a customer learning platform is time-consuming, the organized process made it not that bad. I can't say I had major issues with any of the process or the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are making an education center for our current customers, helping free up team members from repetitive tasks and also incorporating Skilljar tools into our products.

100% recommend Skilljar. Make sure you have internal resources lined up for the onboarding experience.

Customer retention is the goal and customer education and re-education is a key factor when going into those conservations.

Make sure you have all your internal resources aligned to ensure a smooth implementation.

What do you like best about the product?
Skilljar's customizable interface. As an admin, it's easy to organize and arrange courses, lessons, paths, etc. so that they appear for the correct audience.

I wish there was a way to clone individual sections or lessons of a course, rather than cloning the entire course and deleting what is no longer needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Expanding our training offerings will provide more flexibility for our busy clients to get the training they need. It will also serve a revenue generator while freeing up my time as a one-woman training show to help with more strategic training projects.
